Fantastic experience: Put me very much at ease and the dentist fully explained my treatment.

Fantastic experience: I have been with Anderson & Broadberry for several years now and have always received excellent and considerate treatment. My most recent visit was no exception and I think my treatment was extremely good I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Fantastic experience: A great practice, all of the staff are lovely, including the receptionists, who are welcoming. I had some surgery done on my cervical spine the week before my visit and still had the stitches in across my throat, anhway the dentist made me feel relaxed and did the check up without having to tilt my head back, it was harder for her to do the routine heck that way but she was adamant I wasn't tilting my head back due to my surgery. The dentists and dental nurses I have had the pleasure to meet so far, make you feel totally relaxed, I used to dread going to the dentist but it's now a positive experience and I have regular check ups every 6 months, something I never did before as I hated going to a dentist. So I'm very happy with this practice and highly recommend them to anyone requiring to register with a dentist, or needs treatment and is afraid of the dentist!

Negative experience: I’ve been a Private patient for ten years at this dentist and I haven’t had a problem till now, which some might say that’s good and yes it is until you do have a problem and NO ONE wants to help me. I’ve asked for the manager to call me back now for nearly two weeks and still not called me. One of the receptionist ladies is rude and has no empathy at all so basically I’m banging my head in a brick wall!! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

Fantastic experience: When I went through 111 I got appointment next morning, was great service made to feel welcome, service was great didn’t get caused any discomfort, even though I broke my tooth, and was worried about pain from hitting a nerve. After service I would never be afraid of dentists again. overall great service to get me out of pain. Would recommend any time

Positive experience: A first rate dental practice. I've been very happy with the service provided. Staff are helpful and polite and the premises are very clean and tidy. The only thing that prevents 5 stars is awkward and limited parking facilities.

Negative experience: Went in for a check up with my 4 year old son. Explained to him prior to the appointment that we would be in and out. But the appointment ended up taking longer than expected with trauma I didn’t need. I got in the chair myself and was told by one of the dentists that I had a fissure on one of my teeth. Asked her what this was? And didn’t get a good enough explanation to understand. But she told me that it was a matter of cleaning the area and putting a sealant on my tooth to protect it. She asked her assistant how long she had till her next patient and she replied ‘3-5 mins’ so the dentist said that’s fine it won’t take long I have enough time. So me thinking ohh this won’t be much longer if she has someone else in I’ll be done shortly to see to my son and get off. 10 minutes went by and she started drilling my tooth, a few minutes after I shot through the roof as she drilled right down to what felt like my nerve. She then asked ohh sorry is that sensitive I said yes what have you done, when replying to her I felt the deep hole that she had created with my tongue and was not happy at all that she created this hole. I went in with perfect teeth no decay, no enamel, no holes no pay no nothing!!! I asked her why she’d done this and what was happening and yet again she didn’t explain properly what it was she was sorting, she just told me that it’s now gone deep and she has to carry on!! Offering me no numbing for the pain or offering me to just come back for another appointment I asked her to stop because it hurt, for her to then say do you want numbing now, I replied no!! I want you to hurry up and sort my tooth you’ve not created a hole in my tooth that wasn’t there before. She ended up putting a temporary filling in my tooth and told me to come back for a proper filling in the next few weeks. Baring in mind when she started I said does this require a filling and she said no, just a sealant on the tooth. But then after 10 minutes of drilling and creating more damage I now require a filling. It just doesn’t make sense!! I refused to pay for the temporary filling that she did, and only said I’d pay for the check up which was shocking anyways. I now have to go back for the permanent filling to be fitting to a tooth that didn’t need it, and I am not confident enough to go to the same dentist to have her fix what she caused!! I wouldn’t recommend this dentist, and the lady I had was called Ms Munazza Imran. Really not happy with the service and I doubt I’ll be coming back after I’ve put a formal complaint in.

Fantastic experience: Friendly professional practice. No problems at all hence the rating. the only thing letting it down is the follow up app. The app is slow, keeps repeating questions and comes up with numerous error messages. someone needs to investigate this weak link

Fantastic experience: Don’t usually leave reviews but since I joined this dentist my appointments have always been changed for a later date and time. I know I’m not a paying customers as I’m on maturity but I still need to find child care when I have my appointments. The receptionist is very quietly spoken so when you call to change appointments I’m unsure what time or date I’m there.!

Negative experience: Sent by NHS DIRECT , was told I had a small hole in a tooth and a hairline crack,,,was advised to dab a bit of sensitive toothpaste on it ,see how I go and come back if still in pain... I'm no dentist but can't be right surely,,,SO I WON'T BE GOING BACK,,,,CHEERS ANYWAY

Fantastic experience: After having a tooth out my new dentist kindly gave me a pallet to which I didn't get on with. My daughter and I kept singing the song all I want for Christmas is my, well you guessed it and I got it. A bridge which meant that I didn't have to take my tooth out, I was literally overwhelmed Anderson and broadberry have definitely made my Christmas thankyou so much.

Fantastic experience: A really lovely dentist Mohammed Bilal, very informative & very pleasant, he explained all options available to me, hence the 5*....would definately highly recommend him ! Wouldn't want him to ever leave this practice, hes great !!

Negative experience: This week is deaf awareness week (5-11th May) Wouldn't it be nice if the receptionists took time out to read a few articles on how to recognise and respond to a patient who is partially deaf There are also articles on what a hearing loop is, how it works and how to use it What a pity it usually stands on the top of a cupboard at the back of reception gathering dust

Negative experience: I have been with this dentist for many years and have had multiple problems. I have found them particularly unprofessional at times texting new appointments through without contacting me to check this is convenient or apologising in any way with me on many occasions to rebook appointments because the dentists aren’t there but this doesn’t particularly bother me. I received a letter this morning stating that because I have rebooked with them on too many occasions, that these class as cancellations and I have now been removed from the register. These were rebooks not did not attends. One of the times was during the floods, another was when I had taken a positive Covid test minutes before. They have my two children and my ex husband registered with them as well so this is a really unreasonable reaction. He has been waiting for 6 months in pain for a referred procedure that they assured him anega Hose had made and that he should hear from within 2 weeks. It isn’t unusual to call this dentist and be trying to get through for the best part of half an hour. They only have a couple of times recorded on their system that they have rebooked with myself and it has been many times hence why I didn’t expect such a harsh response from them. They don’t record all their adjustments accurately but argue with a pretty bad attitude to be honest that they do. I have to say that the two slightly older blonde receptionist ladies are lovely, understanding and helpful, as are the majority of the dentists I’ve seen before but I struggle to feel comfortable with the rest of the reception team as they are so rude and condescending. They really let the practice down. It’s difficult to be choosy with NHS dentists due to the shortage at present but I do feel it’s important to warn people of what to expect. I’m currently waiting for Iain Cowey to contact me to discuss the matter. Having looked at reviews there are others that have had the same experience with them cancelling appointments and not making referrals that they should have. I suspect these negative reviews have been diluted intentionally as a lot of the positive reviews seem very similar in wording and intention. It really is a shame as both my sons are on the Autistic spectrum and the younger one really liked the dentist he sees and he will now need to reroot, not helpful for him. When I informed them of his disabilities I was told that this wasn’t something they would put on the system as it wasn’t relevant. I did receive an apology after explaining in depth why it was to Mr Cowey on that occasion but just be mindful should you go here I would keep it temporary and search for elsewhere in the mean time. Just not worth the upset. UPDATE: had a long discussion with Iian about the additional needs in my family he stated that (Sophie) the dentist that my younger son saw has left now along with other dentist’s including Fahad. They were brilliant. Iian stated that current dentists Tin ip, Vanisha chader and Anega Hose all individually refused specifically to see me yesterday due to my “rebooked” appointments despite the practices many cancelled appointments with me. What lovely people! He said that he had asked dentist Selena Begum to see me today having explained about the additional needs in my family and that she also refused based on the fact I had rebooked too many appointments. He stated that Selena was informed about the additional need in my family and how such a change would negatively impact us and that Selena hadn't taken this in to consideration when making her decision as he said it had nothing to do with it. Regardless of additional need although especially if additional need is present, I do not recommend this practice at all. I won’t be taking my children back here under any circumstances. Although out of concern for other patients i think it’s important to explain what has happened here with the general dental council to ensure that this team are forced to consider their attitudes towards all patients but also people with disability as I’m still genuinely speechless.

Positive experience: The Dentist I saw was great, but unfortunately he’s leaving and unable to finish treatment started. Tried then to book to finish treatment only to be told they have no nhs dentist to complete it, so unable to make an appointment and that my appointment in July would be cancelled too. So after spending £1,000.00 on private dentistry of a root canal, I’m unable to finish it as they can’t provide the service for my crown. Unbelievable. I have been going to this dental surgery for over 20 years and never received the service of what I received today. Let’s hope when they get back to me next week they have sorted something. One month later, still waiting for this appointment. Waiting on practice manager to allow receptionist to book a crown prep appointment. Why it needs a manager to authorise this is beyond me.

Fantastic experience: I am Autistic and find dental appointments really hard and overwhelming. I had an appointment as an NHS patient and treatment. All the staff were so lovely. I felt able to stim, use my blind fold and in control throughout my appointment. The dentist and dental nurse were patient, nonjudgmental and communicated very clearly through out. Made the visit as easy as it possibly could have been. Can't recommend them enough.

Negative experience: Decent dental care but every appointment that I have scheduled has been cancelled by them and rescheduled. They even managed to reschedule a rescheduled appointment. Beyond a joke. I booked an appointment and took a day off work so I could attend just for them to ring me and tell me they cancelled it.

Negative experience: Getting through to this surgery is a nightmare, I’ve rang about 10 times across different days and different times and no one ever answer the phones. My emails have been ignored and the forms I’ve sent online. After many failed attempts at getting through, I did get through today to try book an appointment, only to be told the dr is no longer seeing NHS patients and I’m now back on the NHS waiting list. What an absolute waste of my time.

Over the past few years she had performed routine examinations, a filling and an extraction and has been professional but also so kind and empathetic putting me at ease and helping me understand the treatment and taking time to check I was ok throughout each visit . Fantastic experience: Damaged my tooth on christmas day(wednesday) called in when open on Friday morning and was give an appointment for the following Monday , then received a call saying they could fit me in later that day. As usual all the staff are both friendly but professional so woul,recommend this practice to anyone who wants good service with a smile.

Don't advertise for new clients then treat them appallingly! I hope the practice did not receive a signing on fee...

Fantastic experience: This is a really good dental practice. All the staff I have dealt with have been kind and understanding, taking time to explain in detail any treatment that was necessary. I am a nervous patient with other medical issues, and the care and compassion they show me is second to none, going out of their way to help whenever they can.

Positive experience: Registered as an NHS patient after my dentist of 20years went private. Filled in application on line and received a phone call within a few days to book an appointment, I have been twice now and I am very pleased with my treatment.
