Fantastic experience: I'm usually nervous of dentists, but the minute I walked in the receptionists were friendly & the dentist was professional & put me at ease. I would highly recommend this surgery

Negative experience: Had an appointment today at 3:40 PM and couldn’t find the clinic. I called to say I was nearby and just five minutes late, but the receptionist refused to give me the address and said I wouldn’t be seen. I had to search online and found a different address, eventually arriving at the clinic. Once there, I was met with disrespectful behaviour from two staff members who lacked basic communication skills, empathy, and courtesy. I was then told I’m no longer allowed to attend their clinic due to “company policy,” with no explanation. Extremely disappointed by the lack of professionalism and support. Patients deserve better.

Fantastic experience: Excellent dentist. Rarely struggle to get booked in, always see the same dentist, all the staff are friendly. I was 5 years without a dentist, found this one and by then it was too late to save a bad tooth, it was completely hollow inside. However this dentist manage to pull it out delicately without breaking the tooth, which would have resulted in more work.

Traci was absolutely fantastic as always — incredibly thorough, gentle, and took the time to explain everything she was doing, which really put me at ease. My teeth have never felt cleaner, and the whole appointment was smooth, professional, and even enjoyable. You can tell Traci genuinely cares about her patients and takes real pride in her work. I can't recommend her highly enough — if you're looking for top-quality care, Traci is the one to see!

Fantastic experience: I haven't been with this surgery long but I am very pleased with them. Both my dentist and my hygienist are very friendly and I feel confident in the treatment I have had so far. I have been given options for some specialist treatment I need but don't feel under any pressure at all as to my choice of treatment. I would definitely recommend West Heath Dental surgery.

Negative experience: Very disappointed. NHS patients are treated as second class. My wife went there during her pregnancy last year, and had a tooth infection, dentist was in a rush to do a private procedure, rather than simply give her antibiotics. My wife’s infection got worse after that for which we went to a different doctor and it was all sorted there. Very poor service because always want you to go for private treatments. Seem too greedy to first register as an NHS patient then try to convince you for private procedures, and if you refuse then would keep delaying your management.

Fantastic experience: First appointment here for myself and my young children. Extremely professional, friendly and informative - from the beginning to the end of the visit. Ive had many experiences with dentist practices looking for money rather than caring about the actual health of the teeth / mouth, and was so genuinely impressed with this practice and all of the staff. Dentist we have been allocated is the best ive seen, I have full confidence that myself and my children are in good hands. The ladies on reception were very patient with my many questions as it was the first visit, very professional and friendly. The practice itself is very clean and easy to get too. We parked around the corner as its on a main road, took 2 mins to get to. I cant fault this place at all and highly recommend.

They did what ended up as a very difficult procedure ( totally not because of the dentist) they helped me and reassured me every step of the way. I do fear dentists as a result of incident when I was younge, but Tracey, the hygienist in particular is amazing and puts me at ease every time I see her. She has great tips on cruise holidays too .

Negative experience: Not impressed very rushed visit. I waited 30 minutes even though I was on time for my appointment. Dentist didn’t offer cleaning, as I was leaving she said it was only few teeth that need it cleaned and I can have it done on next visit. My teeth desperately need cleaning. I previously was given pain relief which didn’t start working until after the procedure… as dentist started working immediately after injection was given and ignored the fact I could feel everything. I thought I’ll give it another chance after that but still was left disappointed I think this was my last visit.
