Fantastic experience: I have been going to this practice for as long as I have had teeth! (Thirty five years!) If you want a genuine, caring, high quality local dentist I would definitely recommend Valley Dental. Both myself and my son had Invisalign with Dr Nahar and our smile transformations were phenomenal. We received five star treatment through out and I couldn’t fault them in any way shape or form.

Positive experience: I arrived on time for my appointment, but was waiting 30 minutes to be seen. Nice comfortable and clean reception area. 4 receptionists behind the desk, chatting and one eating a sausage roll! Didn't give a great impression. No spaces on the carpark.

Fantastic experience: So my invisalign journey began in November 2023 i had 4 extractions and may i add that i am an extremley nervous patient and Dr Nahar and his team took care of me and my teeth were out in no time.Once i healed my invisalign were fitted .With regular check ups and tweaks my teeth transformed.I can smile with confidence.Thank you to Dr Nahar and his team.

Fantastic experience: Two of my teenage daughters have been coming here for treatment since last summer. My eldest has just finished her Invisalign treatment and her teeth are absolutely beautiful! She’s finally regained her confidence and smiles again without covering her mouth. We really couldn’t thank Dr Nahar enough. My younger daughter has standard metal track braces and her teeth are also looking amazing so far. She has finally overcame her extreme fear of dentists thanks to very kind, caring and patient staff. Lovely reception staff too. I would definitely recommend this dentist.

Positive experience: Staff were really polite and helpful. Had my 1st appointment for the hygienist and again the hygienist was friendly, polite and made sure I was ok during the process. The reason why I put 3 stars was the price, I feel that for a 20mins clean ( in which I still have a couple of tartar stains) you didn't get what you paid for in my opinion.

Fantastic experience: I was able to get an emergency appointment on Christmas Eve with Henna. She was brilliant, taking time to fully explore the issues and identify the problems. The necessary extraction was carried out and very supportive advice given. Henna is a credit to the practice.

Negative experience: My teeth felt great after the visit to the hygenist but the next day felt same as before treatment. My teeth are so sensitive now i have trouble with cold and hot food and drinks. No change In followong week. Not very happy

Positive experience: Have been attending this practice for 35 years. Despite getting to the appointment on time waited nearly 20 minutes to be seen. I have anxiety with regards to attending the dentist the wait does exacerbate this. The appointment itself was fine and the hygienist was very polite and happy to meet my needs.

Negative experience: Hygienist working on her own, trying to clean teeth and use suction tube at same time. I found the experience very unpleasant. I have been at this practice for a long time and it has definitely got worse over the years. Appointments regularly cancelled and moved.Not to the next day months later for the moved Appointments.

Fantastic experience: The practice is great. I’ve always had a fear of dentists and never found anywhere that puts me at ease like they do here. My kids love going too, it’s wonderful to see that my fear hasn’t impacted them and that’s all down to the friendly nature of the practice. If I could ask them to change anything about the practice I would ask that they put more into the NHS side of it. There have been a few occasions where our appointments have been cancelled, which I think has been to do with taking on lots more private treatments. understand that there needs to be profit made from any business, so see why private treatment is offered, however there was a huge push a couple of years ago for NHS patients, and now there is no space for NHS patients and I feel at times those patients that are registered under NHS treatment are sidelined for private treatments. That said, when we do come in we always have a great service and love seeing Ms Uddin.

Negative experience: Try to rid NHS Patients so people have to go private, No communication of next appointments or warnings about a missed appointment. No update on anything meaning trips made for no reason. Receptionist don't care and have a power trip taking you off the NHS List it seems. When they want to cancel we have to deal with it when we are a minute late we have to bend over backwards and wait ages or come back in 8 weeks. Definition of NHS Failing and treating other humans wrongly.

The staff fitted me in on the same day and I received excellent treatment and compassion from my dentist and her dental nurse, I had a procedure to relieve some of the pressure which has helped. I was given plenty of good advice regarding my follow up treatment , antibiotics and a follow up appt for two weeks for review and discussion of my choices of treatment me having considered them in my own time. Negative experience: Shameful experience at this private practice. I’m not normally want to write a poor review over one incident but as there’s been many incidents I feel like it’s fair to share my experience with this practice. Originally came in for a brace appointment with The open day I was interested in the fixed orthodontic treatments. spoke to the Dentist who said they could do it better with Invisalign, This seemed a bit peculiar to me as I’ve been a dental nurse in orthodontics for around 12 years and have never heard a dentist say they can do it better with removable In comparison to fixed. I feel like the Invisalign was pushed, so I didn’t go ahead with the treatment. Trying to get through on their phone lines trying to get blood from a stone. No matter how many times I ring it goes unanswered. I have to leave a voicemail normally and then they get back to me within a few hours. Came in for a checkup and a hygienist appointment and when it was time to pay they told me there was nothing to pay. Which I thought was unusual, so I asked and they said that there was nothing on the system to pay. So I left the practice. They called me a few hours later saying there was something to pay so I paid over the phone and apologised. I then got a warning letter three weeks later. Telling me I owed them more money, I rang the practice who said well it was your word against mine as you left before you paid. Didn’t want to cause an issue, so I paid the Second bill. Unfortunately, I’ve developed an infection in my wisdom tooth and need an emergency appointment today. It took me six attempts to call through which was left unanswered. So I decided to drive down there and ask for an appointment in Person. The receptionist I spoke to was disinterested unhelpful and told me it was too late to book an emergency appointment and I could only be seen tomorrow. This was at 9.10 When I was an NHS patient I never had any issues getting through on the phones or getting emergency appointments on the day. It seems really irresponsible to not allocate more appointments for on the day patients, especially for a private dentist. Truthfully, don’t feel like this practice is worth its money and I think they need to have changes within staff, phones and pc systems. As clearly there’s no communication. I’ve had a look at all the reviews and none are responded to so I’m assuming this will go unheard too.

Fantastic experience: Friendly, helpful, professional. My dentist is the one who always treats me, within the practice, which is beneficial. I always know that she is familiar with my dental issues and needs, and I feel confident that I am receiving the best advice and treatment every time. I also regularly visit the dental hygienist who brilliantly supports the treatments recommended by my dentist.
