Negative experience: I had to wait 25 mins for my appointment, and then had to wait for a receipt after my appointment. I waited for 15 mins until asking about my receipt for the receptionist to jump into action like I hadn't been sitting right in front of her. Very frustrating experience.

Fantastic experience: Had an emergency appointment today. I have a phobia of dentist. The doctor was so lovely, made me feel at ease and treated my problem so quickly and efficiently. I was seen on time and the staff was friendly.

Negative experience: The receptionist asked if I was working, I said no because I was in between jobs. I ended up getting fined hundreds of pounds because you can only get free healthcare if you are on universal credit. When the dentist checked my teeth, it was obvious I had holes in my teeth, I could feel it with my tounge, instead he asked, your not working right, so this treatment is free? I said yes, then he immediately said, yes I can't see anything that needs work in your teeth. He didn't want to give me service because claiming money from government for free treatment is admin work and they get paid less. It was very obvious that this was his attitude. If I was richer and wiser I should have sued them for that. They are scammers and very unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Michael is extremely professional and attentive. After carefully checking my condition, he explained everything clearly and gave me very detailed advice on the best treatment options. I’ve been to another dentist before, but the level of care and expertise was nothing like what I experienced with Dr. Michael. He really takes the time to listen and makes you feel at ease. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I just had a root canal treatment at Pearl Smile with Dr Nilesh Bhavsar. I was in and out within an hour, having felt nothing whatsoever from start to finish, completely pain free! I am particularly grateful for this given how difficult I understand my particular case to have been. Dr Nilesh was comforting, informative and kept my mind at ease throughout. He also went above and beyond technically, professionally and cosmetically, for which I am very grateful.

Fantastic experience: I just want to say how pleased I am with Dr Bhavsar and his team. My old dentures were becoming little loose. So the plan was to do new dentures top row and bottom row Dr Bhavsar suggested making dentures slightly longer and I suggested a shade or 2 whiter.I had my fitting and am really pleased with the outcome!!

Fantastic experience: I have been ringing around every week for the past 8 months trying to get registered with a dentist who accepted NHS and was over the moon when I called Pearl Smile and the lady who I spoke to told me that they were taking on New patients and I was given my appointment there and then. I attended my first appointment today and I can honestly say that the whole process, from me booking in to being seen by the dentist, (Who really made me feel at ease), I was talked to politely and treated extremely well and with ease. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a local dentist to call Pearl Smile and if I could give 6 Star's I would do without hesitation

Fantastic experience: I have been at this dentist for over 30 years and from single dentist to a group (PearlSmile), always NHS, and largely treated well. The current set up is clean, friendly and Rebecca is first class. She has handled my phobias and worries in a supportive way and seems only to undertake necessary work in my mouth. Most importantly she taken time to explain what she’s doing and future plans moving forward providing considerable reassurance.Her assistant needs to be recognised and together they form a solid team & credit to the practice..I have further hygienist treatment to follow but feel I need to share my experience ! I will add that Dr Nilesh Bhavsar, my dentist for over a decade needs equal recognition as above !! Negative experience: I was asked to come in earlier than my original appointment, which I was able to do. I paid for the Silver Plan, which includes a checkup and hygiene every quarter. Unfortunately, the experience was the worst I’ve had at a dentist. Both the checkup and hygiene were completed in under 20 minutes, and the whole process felt extremely rushed. I was in discomfort the entire time (I’ve felt more comfortable getting a root canal), and my gums were left bleeding more than they ever have after a cleaning. To make things worse, my protective glasses kept slipping, and I was the one having to adjust them throughout, despite both a dentist and a dental nurse being present. Overall, it felt careless and unprofessional. I have since cancelled my subscription and will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: Just has the icons treatment. Very happy with the results. Staff are very friendly and the main dentist (i forget his name- name starts with N) was very very friendly and good. One of the best dentist I've come across. He ensured all the job was done to perfection and that I was satisfied with the results. He went above and beyond by doing extra rounds. Although a little pricey, this dentist is highly recommended. Will be getting my Mum very soon.

Fantastic experience: My wife had her tooth extracted today, the Pearl smile Team got us in on very short notice and was excellent and attentive as usual. Dr Bhavsar did a phenomenal job of extracting the large molar and I drove away with a very happy wife! Massive thank you to the whole team at pearl smile. Me and my family have been going to Pearl smile for years. It is a friendly and welcoming practice with expert staff always ready to help. Mr Bhavsar has been fantastic with our very shy and nervous toddler. With his help she has had regular check ups and looks forward to visiting the practice now. I highly recommend the practice. Dr Waqas Butt is an excellent Dentist. He’s very professional and is very patient. Would highly recommend. The staff are great too, just a nice atmosphere to be in.

Negative experience: Terrible service when I asked for a refund and double-checked what the treatment and charges entailed. Receptionists were completely impatient in handling conversations with customers. I don’t feel the service quality is equivalent to how much I have paid.

Fantastic experience: I had toothache and booked an emergency dental appointment 2 days ago. Dr Michael Chu attended my case. Dr Chu examined my tooth meticulously and explained my tooth’s situation in details. After considering all factors, I decided to request Dr. Chu to extract the tooth for me. The whole process was carried out with care and professionally. Thanks to Dr Chu’s skills so that I recovered quickly after a day’s rest!

Today I received some of the best treatment I've ever had at the practice! Needed 3 small fillings and scale polish which was carried over in a very professional and friendly manner, didn't feel a thing either! Big shout out the dentist, who was not my usual one, but might soon be, and her assistant who was very nice and friendly too. Great job

I have been under the care of Dr Nilesh Bhavsar, he had treated me with care and respect and explained different options of treatment and the best cost for my needs. Dr Nilesh approach has been very caring and professional and has taken the time to explain every procedure before it takes place. Prior to treatment I was lacking confidence to smile, after extensive oral treatment Dr Nilesh has given my the confidence back to smile and not be embarrassed. Positive experience: Starting from the reception, the people working there have always been courteous and helpful. The environment and tidiness of the premises is also good. As for the doctors, I've had perhaps four through the years, and I've only had one, who had the complete package, ie, skill, knowledge, bedside manners, attention to detail, and a pleasant demeanour. The rest would be lacking in one or more of those aspects. They could work on that. Overall a good practice, all things considered.
