Fantastic experience: The Staff at Toothbrush make the practice stand out, everyone is welcoming and corteous in there. The place is neat, clean, organised and makes you feel at ease from the moment you walk in. I have been going to this dental office for the last 2 years to see Erika, the hygienist. From my first session there i was very impressed by her work ethics, skills, passion and professionalism. Erika's sessions never feel rushed through, she takes her time explaining and answering your questions and has a gentler approach when using dentistry tools. I always feel she goes beyond my expectations. I won't hesitate recommending her.

Negative experience: Sadly not a good review, got an NHS emergency appointment here and had a temporary filling placed. Unfortunately it fell out before 6 hours had even gone by. Rang the next morning and was told I’d have to go through 111 again to have it repaired. This is so unfortunate because the team seemed lovely on the day I was there.

Fantastic experience: I am so overwhelmed with gratitude and happiness to write this 5 star++ review. I had the absolute pleasure of being referred to Toothbrush Dental Practice for emergency Dental treatment from NHS 111 yesterday afternoon for 5:30pm. I am literally blown away with emotion at the exceptional level of care, time and attention I received here from the start to finish of my experience with this fabulous team. I was an emotional wreck after badly breaking my front tooth yesterday afternoon and the warm and understanding Receptionist immediately made me feel welcome and at ease as she reassured me the wonderful dentist would look after me. The Emergency dentist explained everything that needed to be done and carefully examined my teeth and gently took an X-ray which he took the time to explain in detail. He coated my tooth for protection and offered advice on the next course of action. He explained that as a cosmetic procedure was required it wouldn’t be covered by this NHS 111 appointment. I would need to make an appointment with my own dentist or he could ask the private dentist at the practice to do it for me if she was available. Bearing in mind it was now past 6:00pm on a Saturday evening I thought this was highly unlikely. However, his wonderful Dental Nurse Joanna rushed out to Dr Milka to ask if she could see me and she agreed to fix my tooth there and then! After completing my forms on my phone in the beautiful Reception area, Dr Milka greeted me with a warm smile and open arms and welcomed me into her treatment room with the words ‘Come in, I couldn’t leave you like this!’ I know this is a long review but I simply cannot express my gratitude or hold back my tears of joy for the sheer dedication of care and exceptional attention to detail and professionalism from Dr Milka and her Dental Nurse Jay. Throughout my procedure they made sure I felt comfortable and explained every step of the process in a calm and reassuring manner. Dr Milka expertly reconstructed the most beautiful front tooth for me made from composite resin and totally restored my confidence in my smile! She even took the time to touch up my other front tooth, the neighbouring tooth and lower teeth too!! Dt Milka and Jay worked solidly for over an hour consistently checking each stage of the process to colour match my tooth and ensure it was the correct length and matched my bite pattern. It was now past 7:00pm and Dr Milka and Jay didn’t want to stop until they were satisfied my tooth was perfect for me and felt comfortable in my mouth. They were absolutely amazing and I cannot thank them enough for their dedication and kindness. Dr Milka expressed her motivation that customer satisfaction is what drives her to help people in this way. She knew there was no way I could go to work looking as I did and she promised me she would fix my smile and wow how she did!! Dr Milka is a magician!! An artist!! My front tooth wasn’t just chipped - it had sheared off - it was 90% missing! Now no one would ever notice it even happened!! It’s been perfectly restored!! The cost for this 5 star treatment was so reasonable and worth every penny and more. After this gold standard experience I will definitely be returning for more private treatment from Dr Milka and her team. This is undoubtedly the best Dental Practice I have ever visited and as expressed by Dental Nurse Jay it was awfully unlucky what happened to my tooth that day but pure luck I had the honour of meeting Dr Milka who was undoubtedly the best dentist to fix it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: What a brilliant experience. My 93 year old Mum had swelling/signs of infection from a tooth which had been removed months ago but the root left in. Typically, on the Sunday of a bank holiday weekend. After a 111 referral, we received a phone call from Dee, the receptionist, who explained the procedure etc. Dee was so friendly, helpful and kind, as were Dr Sayed, the dentist, and his technician. He took xrays which confirmed the infection, then explained the options and proceeded, at Mum's request, with the root extraction there and then, thus removing the problem at source. A fabulous service all round - I can't thank Toothbrush Dental enough. I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I booked my hygiene session in this practice first time. Receptionist offered me to book 60min session instesd 30min, I was explained that seing hygienist first time it is always more questions to ask also as maybe more work to do. From beginning I was thinking that this is money making mashine. I have booked 30min visit instead. Now I know that 60min was a right recomendation. I never had such great experience with dental hygienist. Erika was really goooood, my teeth feel amazing. I booked one more session because I need this…. I even booked 60min because the way she cleaned my each tooth, I need this to be done again. I would recomend to everyone to try this dental hygienist: she is a master piece hygienist. Going back 100%

Negative experience: I went in with a swollen face and an infected tooth, and instead of giving proper treatment, the dentist just told me to use Corsodyl mouthwash. No antibiotics, no real care or concern for the actual infection. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. My condition got worse, and I had to seek help elsewhere. Do NOT go here.

Negative experience: Bad service, Yolanda served me, she was rude, she told her assistant in front of me not to use cement to stick my dentures because it was very expensive, to look for a cheaper one, I told her that I would pay her more if the problem was money, she didn't want to, she told me to sit down and when she put the tooth in she did it rudely. Negative experience: I came to this practice after being referred by 111 with a root canal infection, awful pain and fever. I was seen for 5 minutes and after a photo of my tooth was taken, I was told my infection is healing and the problem was my gums. I got advised to use a mouthwash and I was sent away. A week later, my symptoms did not go away. I started having puss coming out of the infected area and excruciating pain. After a visit to another specialist I got told my infection is still there and I should have been at least given antibiotics if the doctor could not perform an extraction or a further root canal treatment. Instead, I felt like the doctor was dismissive, not to mention the wrong diagnosis. Overall, in my personal experience, coming here was a waste of time and money. I would not recommend it at all.

Positive experience: I want to start by commending the dentist and dental assistant, who were absolutely lovely. They were gentle, informative, respectful, and patient—everything one could hope for in a dental team. Quite frankly, they were nothing like what I had braced myself for, and I truly appreciate their professionalism. However, my experience was soured entirely by the receptionist, whose behavior was nothing short of condescending, dismissive, and dripping with an unwarranted superiority complex. I have no doubt that her attitude stemmed from the fact that I was referred by the NHS, given her repeated, unnecessary reminders that the NHS merely rents a room at the private practice..irrelevant information that had absolutely nothing to do with the basic questions I asked. If that weren’t enough, I heard her mumbling that she "hates the NHS". Such remarks are grossly unprofessional and, frankly, concerning for someone in a patient-facing role. She claimed she had "only just received notification from the NHS" about my appointment. Yet, based on her behavior, it seems the issue was less about delayed notifications and more about the fact that she was never actually at her desk to check their portal in the first place. Perhaps if she spent less time sneering at NHS patients and more time fulfilling her actual duties, such mix-ups wouldn’t occur. What was particularly appalling was her lack of basic human decency. I witnessed her turn away an elderly woman who simply asked to take a seat in the waiting room because she had arrived early for her appointment. The sheer callousness required to deny a vulnerable person a seat in an empty waiting area is beyond comprehension. Let me remind her of something: this isn’t Harley Street; this is Lewisham. If she believes working in a practice that occasionally accommodates NHS referrals places her on some imaginary pedestal, she is sorely mistaken. Judging people based on their NHS referral status is not only ignorant but also harmful. She has no idea who she is looking down upon. People’s social status, financial standing, or personal circumstances are not for her to assume or sneer at. A receptionist’s role is to be the first point of contact, setting the tone for the patient experience. Unfortunately, this individual has chosen to wield her position as an opportunity to belittle and alienate those who do not meet her misguided standards. If this practice has any interest in maintaining its reputation, retraining her should be a priority.

Negative experience: Dr Lior has a really bad attitude He was late for more than 20 minutes. And when I had to reschedule my appointment because of him being late instead of apologising he had rude attitude towards me.

Fantastic experience: Update: Two years later and I’m still a patient here, my orthodontic treatment by Dr Marvi is continuing, I’m so pleased with the results so far. I also see Erika the Hygienist who always leaves my teeth feeling sparkling! I was welcomed into the practice and treated really well by all staff members, the practice is clean, contemporary and Marvi created an orthodontic treatment plan quickly with a lot of knowledge and understanding. Looking forward to my ortho journey at the practice.

Negative experience: Was referred to this clinic by 111 for my son with SEN. Not impressed at all. I guess because we're not paying, we didn't deserve any better. Most professionals are always friendly towards children not these ones. Just a waste of time. The guy couldn't be bothered with my son. The receptionist was the only nice one. The rude girl who the dentist fell her English was better. Maybe she be working as an international and not a dental clinic. Totally useless

Negative experience: They just treat you as a commercial. Not like a doctor. If you go to them through your NHS they won't treat you as a patient, they won't treat you as a human being. By any chance if you mistake anything or anything wrong they will tell you we are not working with NHS so we can’t do anything!! Ha ha How ridiculous? Sometimes their staf conflict with each other. Because some patients come from NHS, they consider that he is either our personal customer or referred from NHS.

Fantastic experience: Honestly a lovely dental clinic. The receptionist gave a very warm welcome (I didn’t ask for her name :( ), and honestly it was very nice. Felt like they were actually waiting for me. Received treatment by Erika and safe to say I was checked up on me through out the treatment and made sure that I was fine. I would definitely recommend. Fantastic experience: I had the best service that I ever had from and dental practice in the UK. I needed an emergency appointment for infection and dry socket after having a tooth extraction in the hospital few days earlier. The dentist have explained whole process and helped manage my stress. He always kept me infomed where we are at with the procedure and when its going to be more painful and when we are going to stop. I was in a lot of pain in last 24h, really glad that I came to this practice and felt looked after and at ease. Definitely reccomend, thank you the whole team for your help!

Negative experience: I recently visited Tooth Brush DentalGoldcrest House seeking urgent dental care for tooth pain. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Upon arrival, I was met with minimal examination and was quickly dismissed without proper assessment or treatment.The dentist merely glanced at my teeth and concluded that my pain wasn't severe enough to warrant further investigation. It's been a week since my visit, and my toothache persists unabated. I'm deeply disappointed by the lack of attention and care provided by Tooth Brush DentalGoldcrest House. Patients rely on dental professionals for prompt and effective treatment, especially in emergencies, and my experience fell short of this expectation.I hope that Tooth Brush DentalGoldcrest House takes this feedback constructively and strives to improve their services to ensure that other patients don't encounter similar frustrations in the future.

Fantastic experience: Disappointed by the quality of the dental hygiene offered by my former hygienist, a close friend of mine, recommended me ToothBrush in Lewisham. Even though, it takes me about 45 minutes to get to Lewisham from my residence in central London, I decided to book an appointment for dental hygiene at ToothBrush, which was an enlightened decision! My first visit showed that I was at early stage of gum disease, Erika game be a clear instruction on how to improve my dental hygiene and to reverse the disease, which I followed religiously, until now. Three months later, I had an appointment with Erika for progress update, my gum disease had reversed and my gums are in great health ever since! Currently, I’m on my first implant treatment, which is going satisfactory and it will be complete in the coming weeks. I highly recommend TooThBrush to my friends and family!

Fantastic experience: I came to them in a state of distress and infected tooth after a badly done (not finished) tooth extraction I did in Spain (see my review about Tena clinic in Moncofa). They were able to accommodate me at short notice. Dr Lior Burg, dental surgeon, put me into the chair and fixed it, and I didn't feel a thing. Being a hypochondriac, it meant a lot that I didn't get shouted at or treated with disrespect for being nervous. And finally I am well today, and I cannot be grateful enough. Nevermind he was the focus for me, but the receptionist and the owner were also warm, nice people. It's just the atmosphere you need when you are in distress.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding experience with the dental hygienist! The service was exceptional, the staff was friendly, and I felt completely at ease. My teeth not only look and feel fantastic, but the pricing was also good. They also took the extra step and showed me some tips for my daily tooth care routine making it clear that the people who work there care about the work they do and care about their clients. Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend this practice. They give an excellent service are professional & the staff are a friendly team. The Dentist explains all procedures that you require thoroughly. I feel it is reasonably priced for the work I have done. I come here to get my teeth cleaned every 6mnths and the dentist does an amazing job. They are immaculate.

Fantastic experience: Me and my partner go there every 6 months for our oral hygiene and we would never go anywhere else. The quality-price is definitely worth it. The whole team is very professional, helpful and friendly. The environment is extremely clean and tidy. Erika makes enjoyable every appointment. She is very friendly but in the same time, professional and careful on every little thing. Her advices are precious to us and we can see how much she cares about her patient’s dental health. Would definitely continue going there and would recommend it everyone.

Fantastic experience: I registered with this practice for my braces. From my consultation up till now I realy like this practice. They care about my teeth and prior braces placement I was booked for full examination and teeth cleaning. Now I know how to brush my teeth and start using a floss. Next week I will have my braces on!
