From the receptionist who remembers you from 2 years ago to the Dentists, nurses and hygienists, all are wonderful. Dr Simon actually came in on his day off to do my fillings as I was leaving the country that week. When I told the receptionist at my dental check up this year, that I couldn't get a hygienist appointment she did every thing she could to find me a slot before I left to fly home. I had a different dentist this time who was really nice, and gave good advice, and I also the hygienist who spent ages on my teeth to make sure they were clean and polished and alos gave me some good advice. Every one I saw was kind, professional, explained what hey were doing, and gentle. A great place warm, personal, professional, and good dentistry.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been desperately looking for a good quality dentist for so long now and then a friend recommended Ealing Dental Practice. I’ve seen Nick Simon a couple of times now and he’s just fabulous. His injections are nearly painless (he heats the needle and anaesthetic to body temperature prior to the moment of horror!), he explains everything and shows you the pictures of what any why something may need to be worked on. Everything feels calm and professional. Also, the ladies on the front desk and Nick’s dental nurse are all super. Ten out of ten for this dentist!

Negative experience: I attended the practice for a new patient appointment a few weeks ago, as I had been experiencing sore teeth for several days. I was seen by Dr Rai, who took some x-rays, and suggested that the cause of the discomfort might be teeth grinding at night. He advised that I buy a mouth guard for night time use, and also identified a cracked filling that would need replacing at some point. Whilst I have no issue with the professional advice given, I found his manner to be very patronising. When I asked whether hormonal changes could be causing my sore teeth, as I had heard that falling oestrogen could cause dental issues, he was very dismissive and stated that this was not in any of the dental textbooks he had read. All I can say is that he needs to update his knowledge, as it is widely recognised now by menopause practitioners - and quite a lot of dentists! - that hormones can cause many changes to the mouth, gums and teeth. I also have very sensitive teeth, and am quite worried about having them cleaned, having had a not very pleasant experience in the past. When I asked him how the dental hygienist would deal with very sensitive teeth, his response was 'I don't have an answer to that; they'll try to be as gentle as they can be'. Not very reassuring! And not how to deal with a patient who has just told you they are worried about having something done. I will be having my cracked filling sorted and my teeth cleaned - but not at this practice! Menopausal ladies, I'd look elsewhere if you want a supportive and well-informed dentist.

I see Dr. Chauhan and she is excellent—she takes the time to explain everything in detail, which I really appreciate. I first saw Dr Rai when I needed emergency treatment for dental pain, which he was able to help with on the same day. I’ve subsequently visited his clinic for a routine check-up and fillings and been very happy with the care I received.

I was so nervous and had only a glimmer of hope he'd be able to assist in achieving the smile I only dreamed of. The consultation went very well and from that moment, I knew I was in good hands. Dr Nick set out a 36 month treatment plan including extractions (due to overcrowding) and braces. He managed to get it all done in 18 months!! Unbelievable! He's so knowledgeable, personable and very caring. I cannot thank you and all the staff in the surgery (including the ladies in reception). They all truly care. He has amazing way of clearly talking me through the treatment and his professional opinion and is very understanding. Negative experience: I called the clinic up to make an appointment for dental hygiene, so the reception lady told me that I need to register with them, she gave me appointment in 3 days and she asked me to pay £35 in advance and £35 the day of the consultation for a check up and x-ray. I asked her when I will have an appointment for dental hygiene, she said the first availability that she has is in November which means in 3 months. I was really perplexed. My question to this clinic is, how it's possible that I can get an appointment in 3 day for a check up paying £75 and wait 3 months for dental hygiene. It's ridiculous.

I was made to feel very comfortable by Dr Indy and he made me aware of everything that was taking place and all options explained thoroughly. A few weeks on and the work he did is perfect. Fantastic experience: I am in the waiting area, having just downloaded google, created an account and signed in as I am SO impressed with the excellent work I’ve just received from Nick Simon at Ealing Dental Practice - and I’m an extremely busy woman!!! Late last year on the teeth of the pandemic my crown of more than 20 years on my bottom left tooth sheered right off and (when I was able to attend his clinic) I was advised by Nick to have an implant. I have been a patient of Nick’s since 2008 and he has always given me and both of my children, now both adults, GREAT advice. So, without hesitation I listened to and went with his considered opinion to have an implant as opposed to another crown. As a hard-working midwife this was a HUGE financial commitment for me but I decided that I would proceed. I was referred to another local dentist for the implant bit and Mr Manish Bose was charming and very informative, I was thrilled that my bone density was extremely good (assessed with a scan) so I booked the various appointments to have this fitted. Once the whole thing had settees firm and the healing was complete I was then referred back to Nick for the crown. I decided “in for a penny.. etc” and decided to have my teeth whitened before the colour-matching of the new ceramic crown went ahead. Well…. Today was the day that I FINALLY had that crown fitted. I am SO pleased! The ceramic crown in the bottom left side of my mouth looks like a close cousin to the one in the bottom right. I was given great advice on what to expect vis a vis the colour with the tooth whitening, which really did manage my expectations. It’s SO natural as the slightly darker areas in a natural tooth still show that contrast with the whiter bits at the edges which I like. However it’s Nick’s attention to detail with the shape of the new tooth, his eye for the colour match to my newly-whitened teeth that really does show the “art”of the service that he provides. I’m TERRIBLE with the countless questions I throw at him at each visit but Nick responds professionally, succinctly and he may not brag and be the big “I am” instead he quietly gets on with doing an excellent job, consistently and conscientiously and he delivers - every time. As I have said, I’ve been a patient of his for more than 13 years now and I am going to be a significant age next year and my teeth look, and feel amazing. I most definitely and heartily recommend Ealing Dental Practice to you as from the wonderfully helpful, friendly and thoroughly professional receptionists to the kind dental nurses and then there is Nick Simon, the consummate professional, who comes in every day to “do his job” but he steps above and beyond his remit I feel - in a good way. If you want excellent service over a period of time, that’s consistent, professional and WELL worth the money, choose Nick Simon and this Practice. I couldn’t recommend them more. You won’t be disappointed.
