Fantastic experience: On entrance to Zental Dental/Barnet, you are Greeted The wonderful bright decor with relaxing music secondly you would be offered a hot drink or a bottle of water fresh out of the fridge (Insight)by one of the wonderful ladies you may meet on reception(I will mention all of them because you never know who is on the desk and they are all wonderful Ladies very Cheerful open to conversation If need be And very informative About all the services that they provide and overall extremely friendly Caitronia,Izzy,Trish,and Noor, and my wonderful Therapist Lana, who has been given me the treatment ‘to sculpture ‘my face to take away everything going south !!!!! the second my treatment is going extremely well. I do have to do a bit of massaging at home but this is not a problem and my overall feeling about Zental Dental is that I would recommendthem High as I did my homework before contacting them And my wonderful therapist, Lana n

Dr. Lana was incredibly thorough during the examination, taking the time to explain each step of the process. Her polite and caring demeanor made me feel at ease, which is often hard to achieve at the dentist's. Overall, I left feeling well taken care of and confident in the treatment plan. Fantastic experience: The surgery exudes a very calm relaxing atmosphere, which is great for people who are nervous. The receptionist was very welcoming and polite. Nitin the dentist, explained everything and was very caring, making sure I was comfortable at all times. All in all, a very pleasant visit.

Fantastic experience: As far as dental practices go, Zental has been the best experience I’ve ever had Izzy, Cat and the team have been super helpful from the start. I always feel so welcomed when I come in, the space is calm and relaxing, which really helps as I’m usually nervous. The dental staff have also been incredible, with consultative discussions that are clear and jargon-free, which makes everything easy to understand and decisions easy to make. They’ve been so accommodating with dates and scheduling too. Couldn’t recommend them more.

Fantastic experience: I recently had the first procedure of an implant I’m from the moment I sat in the comfortable chair until the procedure was finished. I was made to fill very supported and the dentist kept me informed of everything that was happening. The attention to detail at this dentist is the best I have ever received. I have since received taxes and emails to check on my recovery and the response has been immediate telling me if there’s anything I need they are here to help me. I can highly recommend this dentist for their professionalism, their commitment to dental practice and customer care.

Fantastic experience: Had a great first experience at Zental in April. The dentist was so professional and calm and talked through everything that she was doing as she did it, asking how I was doing throughout. I had 2 fillings and a clean and felt no pain whatsoever. The Zental premises in Barnet is almost spa-like with calming music and lovely decor. Staff on the desk were also very helpful.

For almost 10 years, I have tried to find a dentist/hygienist to manage my oral health/care and he has always gone above and beyond, not only by making me feel safe and at ease in my appointments, but also delivering great post results after my appointments.

Positive experience: Easter weekend and a bad toothache. Phoned round multiple dentists on a Saturday morning and it was Zental that gave me an emergency appointment. Stepping into the waiting room it felt like I was in a spa. The reception staff are so lovely and made me feel a lot less nervous. The dentist I saw was very thorough and very clear in her explanation. Unfortunately it wasn’t clear what the problem was but she gave me clear options and I chose one. Still in the process of seeing if it was the right one but all in all I’m happy with the advice I got. The only downside is how expensive it is otherwise I would definitely make it my new dentist!!

Fantastic experience: I recieved some excellent treatment here. They explained what needed to be done in a clear way and set out my options. During my treatment my dentist managed to be reassuring and even funny good way to get me to relax. Albeit my treatment is far from cheap given all that is involved it isn't as expensive as I was expecting. And there they discussed payment options with me. Really can't recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I have had several treatments from Beena, she is both friendly and engaging. Most importantly she is a very good dentist. She always explains things beforehand and during the treatment, there has been minimal discomfort, and the outcomes have so far been great. There isn’t any “selling” pressure for treatments, just an informative conversation about options and possible/probable outcomes. The experience overall is as pleasant as a dental visit can be, the people in reception are efficient and friendly, the atmosphere relaxing. Pricing is in line with what I would expect. I would recommend to others, I already have my next check booked in six months.

Her gentle and caring approach put my mind at ease, explaining things every step of the way and always making sure I was ok. Fantastic experience: Been going to Zental for a number of years. Beautiful practice with friendly staff and very clean (some others seem a little grotty inside). A special mention to Mira who is so lovely to deal with and especially with nervous patients. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: Treatment went well, Eshwari was very kind and professional but I was mislead about the price by the lady on the phone. I paid £95 more than I expected. I had to get that treatment so I paid for it, otherwise I wouldn’t go there in the first place or make more research and decide accordingly. I find this unforgivable unless compensated. They said that they would look into that and get back to me. This score is for the misleading, not the quality of the job. If they sort out this problem, I’ll reevaluate my score.

Negative experience: Unfortunately not a good experience, I came with a slightly broken tooth... my gum was inflamed and I could feel sharp edge all the way to the gum so I thought the whole wall was broken, the dentist reassured me though it was very small piece and only top of the tooth and filed that part temporarily. I had told the dentist several times that I could feel sth sharp sticking out, he examined it and told me that everything was fine .. my gum continued to be very inflamed and several days later whilst flossing that broken piece came out . it turned out that it was stuck in my in between the teeth piercing my gum. I was shocked that the dentist had not spotted such obvious issue upon examination even though I had been pointing that area out to him during treatment . Secondly. at the reception I was charged much more than I was supposed to, it's only when I underlined that I signed a different price with the dentist this was rectified and I had been reassured that this never happens and that this was a genuine mistake which is ok but one should not be faced with such situation and in view of the whole experience I decided to include this information in the review as well. Thirdly, I was told the X-ray images that were taken during the visit and the treatment plan would be sent to my email, it did not happen so after several months I called and was told to request it via email and this would be sent then with no delay. I underlined that this was quite crucial. The X-ray images were sent at that point but no treatment plan was included. Over a month later I decided to rate experience here on google review. A few days later even though my account with google has got my name spelled differently than the email I am sharing with professionals I received a phone call from a manager of this clinic saying that they were conducting a survey on the experience of the clients. I explained that I was not happy at all. Then I had another phone call around a minute later from the same person asking me to remove or alter the feedback and offering me a hygienist treatment as a good Will gesture and that this would be free of charge but was asked to remove or alter my rating … No further comments needed. This situation deepened further my unpleasant experience and added more stress.

I tried a few other dentists around the Barnet area and didn't feel as comfortable as I do here. Definitely worth it.

Negative experience: Very misleading pricing. Their website quotes dental implants from £995 but when I called to discuss was told this is just for the screw! A full implant is actually £2200+.

Fantastic experience: I have had traumatic experiences surrounding dental issues for decades. After various operations and an extremely negative experience with braces (where I didn't chew or eat properly for half a year), my anxiety was on the brink of phobic as no dentist ever really understood the extent of my anxiety and could never reassure me. I have had just 2 appointments at Zental Barnet with Dr Kassam, and I have genuinely been changed as a person. From the minute I walked in, the receptionist, Stoyan, made me feel heard and welcomed. Immediately, my issues with shame and guilt were minimized drastically. He was calming and friendly and gave me a lot of hope for the practice's ethos and care. I was then greeted for my appointment by Dr Kassam, who had taken the time to read my email I'd sent describing my history and anxieties. He listened to me talk for around 35 minutes, and was utterly non-judgemental and incredibly reassuring even before he'd taken a look. Throughout the examination and X-rays, he was extremely caring with his phrasing. Although I had been told many times that nothing was wrong, I never believed anyone after being let down my medical professionals for years and years. But Dr Kassam and the dental nurse have been the only ones to change that. Not only were they both genuinely interested in my mental health but they were also funny and instantly made the "cloud" of worry feel so much smaller, just by showing me it wasn't a big deal themselves. I've since had one more appointment for hygiene which he willingly said he'd take care of (as he knew I had gained my trust with him) and it was painless and even more reassuring again. I can explain quite complex thoughts and worries and he will understand with just a minor description which really helps when I'm feeling muffled. I can't recommend this practice enough. Although it is private, my day-to-day life has been changed and my mental health has improved so much. Without it I'm not sure if I ever would of untangled what was making me so unhappy. Thank you

Positive experience: I originally went because I needed orthodontic work and then just decided to do the other dentistry as well. I mainly done this at the Barnet branch (though I went to the Cricklewood branch once for an hygienist appointment) so the review will be regarding that branch. Would I recommend, mainly no. As stated I primarily went to get some orthodontic work done. She was nice enough though incredibly condescending throughout the treatment, maybe it’s due to her mainly working with children (as that is usually the time people get orthodontic work done) but her and I are age mates seeing as I was in my late 20s at the time. I lost trust in her ability as the goal post for when the treatment would be done kept changing, one appointment she even said “oh that didn’t do what I thought it was going to”, which wasn’t promising. Maybe mental health or sensitivity training would be useful as well as at the end of the treatment she thought it was appropriate to say “make sure you wear your retainers because remember how bad your teeth were before” and then pulled up the pictures and continued with “look at how horrible that is”. I had fixed braces which was hard enough to gear myself up to do anyway being an adult with braces. 
There are two hygienist that I had one was fine she done what was needed the other however Dr Zaynab is absolutely amazing! She is a credit to the branch as well as the industry. She provided me with information on my bone heath (enabling me to advocate for myself in the future) and had basically a consultation before she even started the clean or looked in my mouth where she asked what tongue cleaner I was using(where I was informed that the plastic one I was using wasn’t as effective) she is friendly and personable. There is no pay transparency which is incredibly annoying. After I started the orthodontic treatment my appointments thereafter I was informed that I had ‘money on my books’ with the explanation of, my orthodontic plan deducts the cost with every appointment so I could use it for those general dentistry appointments then coincidentally I end the orthodontic treatment early at my request yet when I ask about this money on the books there suddenly is nothing left. If the information I was told various times throughout the year was false a simple acknowledgment of that would have been fine. Another annoyance they don’t offer up the cost prior of treatment when booking, when I’ve been in the waiting room I heard numerous people having to ask the receptionist or being confused with why the cost is the cost when they return to the desk at the end of the appointment. I myself have called prior ti the appointment to find out the cost to avoid any confusion. All in all a mediocre experience, for a private service. I won’t be returning until Dr Zaynab is back from maternity leave. Update as of 26th Feb: The practice manager called me immediately after I posted the review and continued to call and email me to discuss my review. Eventually we spoke via WhatsApp as I was in the USA for a few weeks. She informed me that my feedback was appreciated. Regarding the payment confusion, I was informed that changes have been made with the reception team so that they don’t misinterpret and therefore misinform customers. Regarding the orthodontist I had a negative experience with I was informed that she has been informed to prevent this occurring for other patients. I hope that my experience and ultimately my feedback has in fact contributed to positive changes within the practice. The practice manager offered me a good will gesture of a free clean.

Fantastic experience: Ciara is amazing, been seeing her for over two years with my braces treatment and she is so friendly and actually cares about me getting the best care for my teeth and does not rush. Also the reception staff are so lovely and welcoming!

Dr Mohamed explained all available options and the care was second to none. Fantastic experience: Another great experience. My dentist, Dr Kassam is incredibly patient and understanding and has renewed my faith in Dentists. I really have to comment on the incredible lady called Trisha on reception as well. She is always so friendly and helpful. I had a query with my appointment over the weekend and Trisha went above and beyond yesterday to resolve it for me. Firstly, calling me at 8 45, before they are open to reassure me my query was in hand. Called me again 10 minutes later to say a resolution had been sorted so I could stop worrying. Always so patient and reassuring it really makes a difference!

Fantastic experience: Went to Zental in High Barnet as I had the worst wisdom tooth pain. The dentist was friendly and very professional. She explained the treatment well even when I requested that the problematic tooth the extracted during the appointment she went above and beyond to ensure the process was as smooth as possible. I felt calm and like I was in good hands. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I've had the best experience at Zental Barnet they are all very professional and make you feel at ease. I had implant surgery last April I felt very scared, but Dr Muhammad made feel at ease and explained everything at all times, the lady assisting him on the day Yan was lovely and helped me stay calm throughout my surgery. I was even able to get teeth on the day, which was great. The next day Dr Muhammad even called to check how I was doing. On other appointments the lady assisting Dr Muhammad Aysun was very helpful, I would always recommend Zental. It's always kept clean and fresh, all the staff are friendly. If you need to be seen they will always fit you in and I saw another Dr Beena who was was very helpful

Fantastic experience: I am a nervous wreck of a patient and I felt very calm. It's more like showing up for a waxing appointment. The appointments in my case we're very punctual. The dentist is very human and talks to you in a really caring and highly explanatory way. Very soothing altogether. My husband has also visited this dentist and we are both unbelievably happy to reccomend. I've even sent a video of reception to my parents because it was such a experience. Calm music. Calm videos. Lovely decor. Great staff. You get what you pay for for sure .

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting Zental Dental Barnet for over two years, and I am very happy with the treatment I have received from the team. The receptionists have been very friendly through out my visits. I had to have operations on my gums which were carried out the highest standard by Dr Mohammed prior to me receiving my orthodontic treatment.
