Fantastic experience: I visited Gooseberry Dental Practice in Ipswich yesterday for a check-up and clean with my dentist, Sayeed. During the check-up, he explained again that an old filling really did need replacing. Although he had advised me about this six months ago, I’d been feeling nervous and had only booked for the check-up and clean this time! When I said I wished I’d booked it in, Sayeed was very understanding and accommodating, and he kindly offered to do the work there and then while I was already in the chair. This saved me the worry of fretting about another appointment and gave me real peace of mind. Sayeed Parker has a wonderful way of putting you completely at ease, which makes such a difference if you’re a nervous patient. I’m so relieved to have had everything completed, and now I don’t need to go back for another six months. Thank you to Sayeed and the whole team at Gooseberry Dental Practice! Kind regards Jules

Fantastic experience: Son was booked in for the Monday afternoon, by coincidence on the Sunday I had an old crown come off, emailed first thing Monday to see if they could fit me after my son as I was going to be there already. Came straight back to me with appointment after my son. Sorted out my crown problem there and then no need to return for treatment. I also asked if we could both have our 6 monthly check ups at the same time as we had them booked at the beginning of next month and it would save us coming back, this was no problem also. It also saved me some money because the check up and treatment all fell into 1 banding which I hadn't considered but helped with the unexpected expense of dental treatment this month. Very grateful that they managed to get it all sorted, quickly and efficiently and cost effectively for me.

Fantastic experience: I’ve never really enjoyed going to the dentist but I genuinely look forward to going now! Mentu and Georgiana are amazing and really put you at ease during procedures as they answer any silly questions I might have. They’re very welcoming and natural; it feels like you’re talking to an old friend. They are also very professional and do their job to a high standard. This is the dentist to go to if you want to be treated right.

Fantastic experience: Both Mentu & Giorgiana were impeccable, going above and beyond when my 6 year old son had his check up! He's a big talkative character and they knew just how to keep him calm and heard. They even got 'Jeff the Wobbler' out with no pain but lots of praise

Positive experience: Always professional and courteous but it would be good if patients mobility was taken into account along with the many other questions they ask when you register because not everyone can manage stairs all of the time. Receptionists could then ask about mobility when booking appointments (as with other surgeries) rather than patients having to ask on a case by case basis.

Positive experience: The dentist was so friendly and made me feel so comfortable. He performed the consultation efficiently and professionally and gave me clear and helpful feedback on my teeth and lifestyle. However the only reason for the deduction in stars is due to the dental nurse with him. She was rude. When I was asked into the room from the waiting area she just stared at me and said “come on your next”. I sat down and she didn’t say a word to me until the dentist came in. I was not impressed by how cold she was.

Positive experience: The dentist i saw was Mentu Roy was lovely, very friendly and made me feel relaxed after feeling so nervous. I gave 3 stars as the receptionist was so disinterested, did not smile and was not very friendly. There was 2 receptionists, it was the Asian lady I dealt with.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience at gooseberry. Anju and Alla performed my checkup and noticed a cavity at the side of my tooth. When I came back for the filling, Anju spent time going through the options and explaining what could happen. But after the injection it went smoothly and the filling was finished in 20 minutes. Highly recommend and better than my previous dentists.

Fantastic experience: I have been a client of Dr Rushdiya at Gooseberry Dental since they took over from Dr Ng. I have always received the best care and never have had any issues with the work she did. Even though I'm an NHS patient, I believe I get the same level of care that would be given to private patients. When my husband or I have needed an emergency appointment, it has always been provided quickly. I can highly recommend Gooseberry Dental and Dr Rushdiya.

Fantastic experience: My first visit after going at least 5 years without seeing a dentist so was very nervous. That was soon put at ease with the lovely receptionists, dental assistant and Dentist!! Fantastic experience: Great experience. I took my son in, he needed some work. The dentist (Dr Anju) was very kind and unjudgemental and talked to my son in a way he can understand. I also became a little unwell with my diabetes, and both the nurse and the dentist wanted to help me. It's always quick getting appointments too. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Was running late and the practice were so understanding and accommodating. The most in depth dentist visit I’ve ever had, and I was made to feel very well informed, at ease, and that things could go at my pace, and not being treated as a timed slot. Positive experience: Receptionist had a bit of an attitude and spoke rudely when we came because I hadn't seen the forms on the text message they sent, genuine mistake and the first time this had happened. We were also kept waiting after our appointment, which has happened a few times now. Dentist was lovely and friendly. Had the receptionist not have been so rude then I would have rated 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Joined recently and needed some fillings. Anju was my dentist and the assistant was Maha and it was honestly the best dentist experience I have ever had, they were lovely, explained everything and did amazing work on my teeth. The receptionists also made me feel welcomed and were very helpful too. All in all 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: I have hypersensitivity and am petrified of attending the dentist. Yasin Ryan, the new hygienist, was wonderfully patient with me. Considerate of my feelings and had great advice at the end of my appointment. The whole practice has an upbeat, caring atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this practice. Only one down side, parking can be tricky.
