What a lovely man, so kind and caring and no pain felt! The experience was very straightforward and for all those who might be nervous, don’t be. Jack is the best of the best and so quick I couldn’t believe he’d done anything! A massive thank you Jack.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been at the Smile Centre for several years now and I am very satisfied with the services they provide. Wait times for appointments can be long (like most NHS dentists) but when I do go, the experience is pleasant and my dentist Elizabeth is friendly and gives advice without being condescending (even when I haven’t flossed enough!). Text reminders for appointments are also very useful and making/changing appointments is easy enough.

Fantastic experience: Posting on behalf of mum. Had a brilliant experience today when my mum had to her tooth removed as emergency. The dentist and health assistant were so patient, reassuring and helpful from start to end. Made sure me and mum feel supported and information about the whole procedure and after care. Did a brilliant job removing the tooth with no further damage or pain.

Liz the Dentist I see , is very polite and friendly, she is very thorough in examing my teeth , and explains any issues in a straightforward, informative, easy to understand way. The receptionists are very organised and deal with things efficiently. The Dentist surgery is very clean and welcoming. The Dentist surgery welcoming NHS customers is a major plus , with me being a low wage earner . I highly recommend the Smile Centre

Positive experience: Dentist was very good clearly explained everything then the receptionist completely contradicted what the dentist had said and I think had to catch herself from not getting very frustrated when I said that’s different to what I’ve been told. As I heard someone say you feel like you can’t say anything bad incase they strike you off as you can’t get an appointment now days .

Positive experience: This is a very busy dentist practice. The care received was fine however a wait of 35 minutes with no one updating me on the situation was poor, in my opinion. Another family member attended today. Once again care was very good but wait time similar to my experience. There is a very tight policy if it is a customer who is late! Apart from this the smile centre works for me.

Fantastic experience: Had a lovely experience at The Smile Centre. Havent been to the dentist in 3 years and was my first experience with a dentist in the UK. Was provided with plenty of information from reception to help me prepare for my first appointment. I could complete all the forms online ahead of my appointment and they even managed to squeeze me into a cancelation slot for the hygienist so that I could finish everything in one day. Staff were kind and helpful and explained their recall system to me and I've made an appointment to go back. Obviously dentistry isnt a comfortable experience but the staff and the clean environment made up for it. 10/10 would recommend. Dr Reena and Vishwa as well as the support staff definitely made it a good experience.

Negative experience: Ridiculously expensive and inconsistent from year to year. Wanted to charge me £615 for one pair of retainers. I went elsewhere and received three sets for £550. Avoid this place, they’re very mercenary.

Fantastic experience: I hate going to the dentist and hadn’t been for 13 years but was very happy with the service. Very friendly staff. Kept stopping to check I was okay. I was also super lucky that they’d had a cancellation as I’d turned up two weeks too early. Thanks for fitting me in.

Beth is a amazing wonderful dentist I had 1st class treatment from beth and her wonderful friendly dental assistant . I use to be avery nervous patient but since seeing beth I feel awhole lot calmer going to the dentist. Beth is so friendly and makes you feel at ease as soon as you enter the room. I would highly recommend going to see beth especially if your nervous of dentist s she's brilliant.

Fantastic experience: Superb service from my new dentist ! I had a badly cracked rear molar which needed removing as was too far gone. She had my gums numb after a couple of easy injections, took an x ray to observe the crack and root. Then took the tooth out in less than a minute! Painless and super professional! I just wish I knew her name so I could give her credit but I’m too new a patient to know. Thanks again!

Fantastic experience: Delighted! I've only ever had one filling in my life, I'm delighted to say, but I cannot believe the difference in experience. The numbing injection for a start really hurt. When Dr Jones did the injection I couldn't even feel she was doing it or had done it!! The experience was quick, pain free (which is bizarre) and not scary at all. I think everyone should see her for their fillings! We wouldn't have so many people scared to go to the dentist!

Fantastic experience: Updated 10th Dec 2024 I saw Beth Jones today who confidently drilled and filled a tooth that I had chipped and had previously had a cavity in. She stated she didn't think it would require anaesthetic, which I agreed to with the caveat that I could ask for it if required. She completed the job in less than 10 mins and I felt nothing! She really is brilliant. ≈============================≈ I have been going to the Smile centre for over 10 years and I have always found the staff to be friendly and welcoming. This week I required an extraction of a lower wisdom tooth from a ortho dental specialist. I was nervous, but the nurse Ellie was very kind and helped me feel better. The surgeon, Oke Ikeajwani was incredible. He talked me through the procedure, explained everything as he went along and even got me laughing!!! He then managed to pull the tooth without me realising he'd started - I just thought he was testing for pain... Amazing. Thank you both.

Fantastic experience: **UPDATED 25.11.24** Came in today and was greeted by lovely Vanessa on Reception, Vanessa always bends over backwards for me, she listens avidly to my tales of when i lived in her homeland, Portugal. I saw Genevieve, the hygienist and WOW! Incredible treatment, worth every penny of the £70.00 I paid. My gums have improved and overall health has too, I skipped out with shiny, bright teeth and can honestly say, I am SOOOOOOOOO glad I chose this dentist when I relocated home in 2003, the management may have changed over the years, but the service and care has just got better and better. THANK YOU...ALL... I have been using this wonderful surgery for over 20 years and throughout all of the management changes, the current Practice Manager is by far the best since Dulcina left. Nuanthe was perhaps the best dentist I had had considering my anxiety regarding dental appointments yet the hygienist I saw today was incredible, honest without being rude and so positive about my recovery from mental health issues that she had witnessed...all in all, my teeth are gleaming, I am smiling .... and I would highly recommend this practice. I would like to add that the warm greeting I always receive from the lovely lady on Reception makes the entire visit a pleasure and reduces my fear. Thank YOU ALL OF THE TEAM!

Fantastic experience: My appointment was arranged at very short notice after I woke up with severe pain in a tooth. I was given a friendly welcome by the receptionist and didn't have to wait long to see the dentist. She took the time to ask about my problem and put me at ease. Although the pain had subsided by that time I expected that if I did nothing it would return and she agreed, it was reassuring to see she took it seriously.
