Negative experience: Originally, this review was a 5 star one. At the beginning of my time with Charisma, things seemed very thorough and made a lot of sense. But as time progressed, I found I was being overcharged and recommended treatments I didn't need. The dentist also made me feel rushed and criticised.

Fantastic experience: I had the Invisalign treatment with Dr. Amir Ahmed and couldn’t be happier with the results! I smile with confidence now and show my teeth more than ever. Dr. Amir was incredibly thorough, explaining every step of the process and making me feel completely at ease throughout. I’m so pleased with the outcome that I’ve decided to continue under his care for my regular dental check-ups. Thank you, Dr. Amir – amazing work!

Fantastic experience: Dr Khalil is an amazing dentist. I went to his private practice in Stockport today (23/4) for a filling and a general checkup. Dr Khalil X-rayed, cleaned and polished my teeth and did a filling leaving my mouth feeling fresh. Dr Khalil made me feel at ease (even when he was numbing part of my mouth). I am happy with his work and I’ll be returning again in the very near future for another filling and regular checkups.

Fantastic experience: I needed an emergency dentist appointment. I called Charisma at 9:00 and had an appointment booked for 12:25 the same day. The service was excellent and they sorted the issue there and then. Dr Ahmad and Terrie were both so kind and reassuring. Having been someone who actively avoided the dentist previously, I have already booked my first proper appointment for a full check up.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service over the moon with the results already could of met a nice team of staff from booking by telephone to make me feel at ease on the day. The attention to detail from the discussion beforehand to the after-care and even helping me with details of product used thank you so much . Really appreciate quality service .

Fantastic experience: I have been to Charisma Cinic a few times with regards to having treatment for implants. I was worried but I had no need to be. The staff are very caring and reassuring. I'd previously had a molar removed due to a failed root canal (not this dentist) and wanted an implant so I could chew properly. Dr Talal Khalid is very thorough in ensuring you have the correct treatment and that you are always informed and happy with any procedure. All the team are very friendly and professional. All of my treatment was very competitively priced. My before, during and aftercare was excellent.

Fantastic experience: I'm a 56 year old woman with a deep rooted fear of the dentist and I hadn't been for 30 years. I suffered years of pain, but when my teeth started to move I knew I had to go. I plucked up the courage to go and after reading reviews for Charisma, I made that call. I met Talal and Terry on my first day and they really put me at ease. Talal just had a look, and took x-rays, nothing invasive at all. I then had a couple of appointments to clean my teeth, which he did so gently and in very short sessions. It was eventually decided I needed to have 8 teeth removed and a partial denture fitted. They arranged for a Sedationist to come and speak to me as I wasn't prepared to do this without it. Last Wednesday, I had the procedure with sedation and I honestly don't remember a thing, apart from Talals' kind words and Terry holding my hand. Then, in what felt like 30 seconds, I was on my way home. I'm slowly getting used to my new teeth, the look really natural. I cannot recommend Talal enough. Fantastic experience: After going to my old dentist for nearly 40 years, I've only had one visit so far, but Amir couldn't have been more thorough in his initial checks, and subsequent immediate referral to a specialist. Feeling in very safe hands for my future ongoing general care. Very impressed already!

Fantastic experience: I was missing an incisor (the teeth next to your two front teeth) and had chipped teeth and a cross bite. God knows how Amir has made a silk purse out of the sows ear that was my teeth. He uncrossed my bite with invisalign and used composite to make my k9 look like it matched the incisor. Very clever. I would recommend Amir to anyone who wants to improve their teeth and have a dentist that is assertive and honest regarding the possibilities. Highly, highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Dr Talal is a genius! I had a single tooth implant at the front which really affected my appearance and now the implant fitted is literally perfection! I also opted for teeth whitening to get a whiter implant once ready. Dr Talal is informative and tells you all the possibilities and explains everything along the way. The procedure over a number of weeks was simple and pain free and has been worth every single penny! I wouldn’t hesitate to go back should I ever need to. Fantastic experience: Have been really pleased with the treatment I have received at the Charisma Clinic. Staff are really friendly and I can honestly say that having had a wisdom tooth removed and a number of cleans - I have had the easiest of procedures with no pain! Having had other wisdom teeth removed before and many cleans with over 10 dentists in the past - this has not been the case. Would definitely recommend them.

Fantastic experience: The best dentist I've had. For years I've had problems with one of my teeth and have had a few botched jobs from other dentists. Dr Talal was fantastic, he fixed my tooth with a crown perfectly and I felt no pain. I've been going back for years since and the check-ups and treatments are always relaxing and pain free. I can't recommend highly enough.

I always felt reassured and pretty calm thanks to a positive atmosphere in the practice and everyone being so nice. Dr. Talal is very friendly, knowledgeable, understanding of your situation. He does his work with great attention to detail and wants to do a perfect job rather than a rushed job (unlike some drs. I previously went to and wanted to get the job done quickly and get me out as soon as possible). And in general everyone in the practice is very friendly and helpful with anything you need. Fantastic experience: Visited today for a filling and clean and polish, not been to the dentist for a long time, as I am a very nervous patient everybody was lovely from Heather on reception who was very helpful to the dentist and dental nurse who put me at ease straight away. Fantastic experience: I sent an online enquiry via messanger which was easy and simple to complete. I was contacted within 24 hours by a member of the team and invited into the practice for a free consultation at my convenience. I met Dr Amir Ahmed, who was brilliant, the consultation relaxing, friendly and developed my knowledge and understanding of cosmetic procedures. I was given rough estimates of costing and shown examples of dentistry work for what I wanted to achieve. The team are all very friendly, Informative and the practice is very clean and welcoming and as someone that is frightened off going to the dentist I felt at ease from my first appointment, I have had several appointments to complete my treatment plan and the results are amazing, exceded my expectatios, I am now switching to this dentist from my dentist of 30 years as the team are superb. Fantastic experience: Visited Charisma Clinic for first time today. It’s been pre lockdown since I last went to a dentist. I have disliked dental visits since a negative experience as a child which then developed into a full on phobia following an extremely traumatic procedure under local anaesthetic at my GP at the time. Fortunately I was able to get rid of my phobia when doing my training in hypnotherapy many years ago but it is still not something I look forward to. I was warmly welcomed from the start and put completely at ease. I opted to go for a clean and polish for my first visit as I know this is the least invasive of procedures and my teeth now feel super clean. Thank you to all the staff for making this as pleasant as possible and I will definitely be back. To anyone who is nervous going to the dentist this practice is a lovely starting point to help you overcome your fears and worries.

Came in under an emergency after being told I need an emergency surgical extraction but Amir managed to extract normally and it was such a pleasant pain free experience so thank you! Fantastic experience: Fantastic service, I had different dentists each time I’ve been but both were amazing at putting me at ease and giving a thorough examination, x rays and scale and polish. They went above and beyond to numb my teeth which are really sensitive and I can confidently say they’ve changed the way I look at going to the dentist! Can’t recommend them highly enough, the admin staff are also stellar, really knowledgeable and they give you a helpful text/call to remind you of upcoming appointments. Fantastic experience: I can’t speak highly enough of Dr Talal, Terrie & the rest of the team at Charisma. Ive always hated visiting the dentist, I’m so nervous and hadn’t been for years but due to first having a toothache and then a chipped tooth. I have had to go twice in the space of 5 weeks. They have been so patient with me and my nervousness, which after the first visit had improved so much. Dr Talal puts me at ease, checking with me and informing me about what’s happening throughout the treatments My chipped tooth looks really good, you would never guess it’s a filling . The don’t charge silly prices either. Highly recommend. I’m confident enough now to start going back to regular check ups

Fantastic experience: I am not the biggest fan of having to visit the dentist. However Dr Amir was very friendly and helpful, probably the most comfortable I have felt at a dentistry in my life and I felt like he was more willing to spend time to go over certain things than other dentists I have seen in the past. Fantastic experience: Myself and my partner came here a few weeks ago. We hadn’t been to a dentist in a really long time (luckily absolutely no problems!). All of the staff from the reception team, to Dr Khalil are wonderful- all extremely friendly and you feel like you’re sat talking with friends! The clinic is extremely clean and modern inside too. Composite veneers, on my two front teeth so it was really important to me that they looked as natural as possible. Fantastic experience: I've been very happy indeed with with the course of treatment at Charisma Clinic - and most - importantly the ery successful outcome. I'm wary of dental treatment but doctor Talal explained everything very clearly, exactly what he was proposing and why. No pressure to rush ahead and my questions all received thorough answers so I had total confidence which turned out to be well founded. Over a period of months everything worked out worked out exactly as Dr Talal assured me it would it so I'm very pleased to have my teeth and mouth the most comfortable they have been for something like 25 years. The follow up has also been excellent.

Fantastic experience: I registered with Charisma last year in January 2022. I was struggling to find a local dentist, however Charisma offered me a space immediately with a same day appointment. Always went NHS during my childhood however opted for private due to availability at the time but how glad I was that I stumbled across this practice.Dr Talal was excellent - I had quite an awkward deep cavity filled. He talked me through the process, answered all my questions, provided me with good after-care advice and made the whole experience pain free. The environment was comfortable and did not feel like a clinical setting. The receptionist was talkative and made you feel like she actually wanted to make conversation (can't remember her name sorry).Unfortunately, my filling did become damaged throughout the year however Dr Talil gave me an appointment the following day and replaced it. I was not charged for this as it was covered under the 12 month guarantee. Dr Talil again advised me of aftercare routines and what my possible options may be in the future, giving me time to research my future possible surgeries.I am 1-day post filling now, still experiencing some slight pain however this may not be unusual due to the nature of the cavity and the procedure but would like to thank Dr Talil and the team for allowing my tooth to live to see another day.

Fantastic experience: Became a customer of the clinic due to lack of care from my previous practice. I'm very nervous visiting dentists. Here you are looked after. My visit 22nd December was for a dreaded deep clean. Very frendly staff. I was looked after, put at ease and properly numbed. No pain!! I fully recommend this practice. Some people ask why pay for something you could have for free but once you are a patient with Talal and his team you will understand. Alway warm and friendly and always professional and efficient. Fantastic experience: Initially I needed a dentist. Quickly, as a dental phobic, I'd put off treatment. After reading reviews I decided to message Charisma clinic. They responded quickly & something in the manner of their reply made me respond & book an appointment. I'm so glad I did. From that first appointment via a welcoming reception, Talal spent time putting me at ease. No easy feat. But he talked me through my fears & I gained trust in him. His dental nurse Terrie was just lovely & she made a real difference to me. I felt very comfortable & decided to go ahead with treatment. It was an amazing journey from start to finish. Which is implant surgery. And at no point did I feel hurried or pressured into anything. I am so happy with the result. Fantastic experience: This is why you choose an Experienced Practitioner Specialist to Cosmetic dental work.I did not want teeth where people focus on them because they are to white and look like false dentures.Amir was beyond expert in this area with his dental nurse they guided me professionally with a long consultation I had my Composite Bonding today and the results are Amazing! Fantastic experience: Was greeted very kindly by the receptionist, had to fill out a quick! Form waited no longer than 5 minutes to be seen. Then was greeted by a lovely young chap called Dr Ahmed who saw to my aches and pains and sorted them right out! Overall experience was lovely and I shall be returning soon, great... Haha

Fantastic experience: I have recently just had composite bonding ready for my wedding day. Dentist Amir was absolutely amazing and so accommodating! I work a lot and struggle to get to appointments unless they are at the weekend. He made sure I was booked in in advance and perfectly timed for the wedding! I couldn’t be happier with the results and so grateful it’s made me more confident for the day all the staff are extremely friendly it’s a really nice relaxed environment to be in.
