Fantastic experience: From the wonderful reception staff to the kind dentists-all make you feel very welcome and calm. Options given are from both NHS and private standpoints giving you more choices. Alison Ross has been wonderful when it comes to my dental treatments. Ms Ross kept me grounded, talked through everything that was doing as she was doing it, which was so helpful given my dental phobia. I feel safe under Ms Ross' care and I'm not hesitant in returning at all.

Fantastic experience: At Bellevue the staff listens to your specific needs, they make you feel at ease and both dentists and hygenists are skilled and knowledgeable. Dentists talk you through the process in great details. Also I am a big fan of a stained glass doors and the place has this homely vibe, classical music and you would not want to go back to cold and dry office feeling never again once you try them. I Absolutely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Faheem Haider is very professional and experience dental doctor at Bellevue Dental Practice, 1 Bellevue Place, Edinburgh, EH7 4BS. He is knowledgeable and explains everything to me in understandable terms. He took the time fully go over my dental health, and presented several options on how to improve my teeth — and all this is done in a professional, hygienic, pan free and positive manner. Friendly staff and all the latest technology at a brand new facility. I could not have had a better first impression. It was convenient & comfortable-great atmosphere too! I loved being able to see my all teeth scanned images immediately on the Computer Screen in the same treatment room! I highly recommend Bellevue Dental Practice Dentistry.

Negative experience: I have a fear of the dentist which I explained at the start of my appointment. As a result of this I have a few dental issues that require treatment and was hoping to overcome my fear. Unfortunately that didn’t happen. I was seen by Alison and she was very curt and unsympathetic. I felt that she gave me no time to discuss other options. The way she spoke to her dental nurse was appalling and I felt sorry for her. I also really object to being treated by someone with chipped nail polish that looked very unprofessional. I have been coming to this practice for over 20 years and am so disappointed. I am now considering moving to somewhere where I can get more friendly and empathetic treatment

Fantastic experience: I’ve recently moved to the Leith area and joined this practice as they were taking on new NHS patients. The registration process was very simple and the staff were quick to offer appointments as soon as I was registered. I have been to the practice twice and the receptionists are all so lovely and helpful. I have been seeing Dr Alison Ross and can easily say she is the friendliest and most calming dentist I have ever had. As someone who is anxious to go to the dentist, Alison really puts me at ease by explaining what’s happening at every step and always checks in to see if I’m doing okay. I would recommend this practice and Dr Alison Ross to anyone I know.

Positive experience: I went to have a check up with Alison. I’m felling surprised about the charges. She did 4 X-ray but never told me it charged until the reception told me I have to pay £40. And, I asked the receptionist how much for the hygiene. She said it’s £77 as it’s not covered by NHS( I was wondering what does NHS cover, I just did the hygiene for£16!). After that Alison popped up and said no, it should be £120. I’m confused and really shocked for the price up!

I was seen for the follow up appointment within two weeks which is fantastic. Dr Mumtaz was excellent with me as well during the follow up, friendly and reassuring, which made the process a lot easier to manage. My fillings also look and feel great. I am recommending my relatives move to this dentist as a result.

Fantastic experience: Quiet gentle professionalism in relaxed atmosphere. Today was my first visit (it’s been a while! And yet there was no judgement. Actually just reassurance) and I’ll happily return for my next appointment. In terms of accessibility, I took my stroller and my sticks in case of stairs but my appointment was on the same level as reception. I was offered assistance to access the dental chair. There is one step from pavement and one at doorstep. I would highly recommend this practice especially if like me you’ve been hesitating

However I picked up the courage and I checked out Bellevue dental practice on the off chance. As soon as I walked through the door I was put at ease. I am now feeling happy to have my teeth to be looked after this practice. I will be having a lot of work done and the prices are very good. I was very nervous but Dr Haris and Luke the dental nurse made me feel comfortable, I really appreciated that. Fantastic experience: Seemed very professional, reassuring and provided good information about the dental treatment being carried out and possible outcomes of future work. Dr Anthoula Argyroudi and assistant completed a full 'audit' of my dental state, including x-rays, and also started first stage of cleaning on my first 'check up' appointment since 2020. Despite probably lasting longer than anticipated, I was not treated as a burden or rushed. Provided the list of provisions to qualify for NHS treatments. Appointment less than weeks later was for an extraction. This was efficient and quick and again, provided with lots of information for aftercare and information re healing. Also advised on the likely, realistic timescale of possible future treatment. Professional, reassuring and friendly but informative manner.

Fantastic experience: Good, friendly, professional. Again, Dr Faheem HAIDER put me at ease throughout the 4 or 5 visits that I've made to the surgery recently. I am very happy with all the treatments and the careful explanations of the work and the various options that we could have taken.

Fantastic experience: I am in my seventies and hadn't been to a dentist for almost 30 years, mainly because I had become increasingly fearful of intrusive procedures, especially needles. Murk, the dentist who my daughter took me to this week, was marvellous, as was her dental assistant, Camille (who was also extremely helpful in setting up my registration and the appointment). My daughter has also been a patient for several years and couldn't have recommended Bellevue Dental Practice any higher to me. I got through the injection stage with some difficulty, but my fear wasn't dismissed or downplayed, and I was made sure to be in as little pain or discomfort throughout. Everyone kept me aware of what was happening, and what to expect, which helped a lot with the fear, as Murk skilfully removed a painfully cracked tooth. My other dental issues were assessed, and a plan was made going forward that we would all be happy with. Everyone was so professional, kind, adept, and helpful, and the practice was clean, welcoming and easy to get to by public transport.
