Fantastic experience: I re-attended Starbeck Dental Centre in Harrogate today after a hiatus of several years due to Covid and having to care full time for a parent. I found the reception staff to be approachable and polite. The dentist carried out my inspection with care and professionalism and made time to cement in a crown that had become detached. She explained my treatment options clearly. After my inspection I visited the hygienist. This was likewise carried out deftly and professionally and my teeth felt really clean and shiny afterwards. The hygienist gave me some advice how to look after my teeth and which toothbrush to use. I was quite anxious going back to the dentist after not attending for several years, but the whole experience was fine and I can now resume my regular inspections and cleanings and any treatment with full confidence. Many thanks to all the staff I encountered today, from the receptionists to the dentist, the hygienist and the dental nurses. David

Friendly reception staff, first class hygienist service and dental treatment by very professional dental surgeons. It is never a pleasure to go to the dentist but visiting Starbeck for treatment comes close to it. I have undergone treatment with Invisalign and subsequent composite bonding and the process from start to finish has been exceptional. From the reception staff, to my dentist Dr Mike and dental nurse Lauren, all of the team have been warm, friendly and professional. Fantastic experience: Saw the dentist within hours: a really quick, emergency service. Sadly, I have a cracked tooth, one that can still be lost. The dentist x-rayed it, filled it, & will review the situ in early Jan. It's then either a crown, or a lost tooth. Depends on the length of the crack, I reckon. (Google also explains this in great detail.) Meanwhile my tooth remains sensitive; but real pain has been avoided, and I might have to eat on the left side. Xmas, as everyone knows, isn't the time for real pain. It's bad enough already! So, I'm grateful. (Presently drinking. Anxiety is ever present. Hence a certain relief.) This Dental Practice is as good as it gets. Chris H. Monday, less than 2 weeks before Xmas.

Fantastic experience: A big thank you to Adam and Hayley (sorry, I'm very bad at remembering names!) for putting me completely at ease today after having to have a minor procedure, under an emergency appointment, that was causing me a lot of anxiety. They were absolutely lovely and talked me through the whole procedure, reasons why they choose certain techniques, and Adam even drew me a diagram to help me better understand the situation. Adam is the kindest dentist I've ever had (and I've definitely had quite a few!) and made sure I had no pain or discomfort. Fantastic experience: I am a new patient who had a toothache. Seen the morning I rang to register. Mike the dentist explained everything to me and made all my options clear. Reception staff were very friendly and I signed up for the dental plan there and then as it is a good one. That was also explained very clearly. As someone who is petrified of dentists I can thoroughly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this dentist since 2021 and I honestly can’t believe how much my experience has changed since leaving NHS dentist and becoming private, I use to hate and dread dentist appointments but now I actually look forward to them. Sarah and H are amazing they make me feel comfortable and have a little laugh as well. I’ve been on journey these last few months sorting out my teeth and even having one removed but they did amazing! Couldn’t recommend them enough :)

They are brilliant at dealing with patient who have physical disabilities and extreme anxieties. This dental center has completely transformed the lady dental experience from being a traumatic experience to a far more relaxed one. I would highly recommend.

I was very anxious, Mike put me at ease and explained the whole procedure, step by step the whole way through, as well as his findings during the procedure. I'm a private patient at another clinic, they could not squeeze me in, I'm moving to Starbeck. They are amazing if you are a busy person with business first most. They sorted and I got on with the day.

Fantastic experience: Recently Registered here after many years with another Dental Service which has moved out of the area. Starbeck Dental Centre is busy and looks thriving. I saw a number of patients who were obviously regulars and they looked happy and satisfied. My own experience was positive- the front of house staff were informative and knew what they were talking about and the Dentist was obviously skilled and happy to talk about what options were right for me without pushing high cost treatments! I think I’m going to be happy here!

She's an anxious child and Sohail and his lovely dental assistant have made her experience so easy, she's come home really happy that she was looked after so well and in her words "it wasn't bad at all" she even got permission to take the rest of the day off school she was included in all discussions about what was happening and made to feel like she mattered, really super happy with this practice and all its team. Fantastic experience: Informative and thorough check up for my first visit to Starbeck Dental Centre. I was given a full plan of advice for any future treatments and signed up for Denplan. I was assured that I don’t have to go ahead with all the advised treatments as I questioned the signed part that says ‘I agree to carry out all treatments’. I’d say that part needs altering. Other than this I was very pleased with everything and I have booked a hygienist appointment in a couple of days time

My dentist was fully informative and helped me with some decisions I was making about my oral health. The denplan scheme works very well and makes it super convenient.
