We want to do this in the same warm, caring, honest and professional manner we would extend to members of our own family.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant dental practice. I would highly recommend. Staff are all polite, helpful and kind. Also in this new age of covid all measures are being taken for both the safety of staff and patients. I only have one ask and that is please can the rear door be made very slightly wider at some point to make it easier to negotiate for wheelchair users. But a a definite 5 out of 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Mum has been a patient at this practice for a number of years, and has always spoken highly of them. However recently due to Mum having dementia, I have needed to accompany her to her appointments. All the staff here that I have come into contact with have been very kind, patient and understanding of mums condition and have made her visits easy and successful for her. This in turn, makes it easier for me, in that mum doesn't get agitated and is happy to attend for appointments. I would like to thank you all for your patience, understanding and kindness to mum, it is much appreciated.

Fantastic experience: Just had my first check up here and was looked after so well by all the staff. Being nervous has meant I'd do anything to stay away from visiting the dentist but having come here I've realised this is dentistry how it should be. The service was professional, all options were discussed and I left feeling reassured that I was in good hands. The waiting room is really cosy and they've got a great selection of magazines to pass time by, although I didn't have enough time to read much as I was called through shortly after arriving! Would highly recommend Would give them 11/10 if I could

Fantastic experience: I came to the Forest Road dental practice today for an emergency appointment referred by NHS 111. I was misleadingly informed that this was an NHS referrals clinic but I am so pleased I made an appointment anyway. I have had a few unpleasant experiences at dentists in the past but Dr Ray and his lovely dental nurse were amazing. He clearly explained the issue I had, there was no pressure to go ahead with any procedures, and I left with a renewed confidence in dentists. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and the whole atmosphere is warm and relaxing. I am now signing on as a patient and will be taking advantage of their dental plan.

Negative experience: Phoned and asked for an emergency appointment and the woman said they're private and not taking NHS patients, I told her I wasn't asking as an NHS patient but privately and she then went on to tell me again that unfortunately they don't see NHS patients.... Stupid and patronising. She then admitted they have no clinicians on today. I was not referred by 111. I Googled dentists and phoned whatever number was on Google. At no point did I say anything about the NHS, it is just the patronising attitude of your employees assuming that anyone calling for an emergency appointment is too stupid to understand from your website that you are not an NHS dentist. Your employees make this uneducated assumption and don't listen to people clearly stating they are not asking about NHS services.
I'm sorry to hear about your experience today when calling Forest Road Dental. I believe there must be a misunderstanding in that you were directed to us via NHS 111 and our colleague was simply explaining that we are not an NHS Dental Practice and that this referral to us, whilst we are grateful for it, was done in error.
If I may also clarify another misunderstanding, it is not that we have no clinicians today as you've said in your review, rather, as our services are incredibly popular as can be seen by the myriad wonderful reviews that our lovely patients are kind enough to leave us, we were simply at full capacity and unfortunately had no vacant spaces in our diary for today.
If you would like to arrange an appointment for the next available opportunity, we would be more than happy to help.

Fantastic experience: Great hygenist appointment today with Jules followed by check up with Ray. Always so detailed and thorough . It's now 20 months of covid precautions at the practice and my 3rd appointment. I am pleased to say everything feels safe,hygenic, and there are minimal patients in the waiting room as there must be a conscious effort not to overlap. Appointments run to time. The magazines are back, with hand sanitizer on the coffee table before you read. But barely had time to flick through October 2021 Vanity Fair as so punctual! Fantastic experience: Wow....as someone who is more than nervous around the dentist this place is amazing. They really do put you at your ease and make sure you relax. Julie the hygienist is espically amazing having looked after me this morning. I have had a terrible experience at another dentist when getting my teeth cleaned, Julie however made it feel pain free and she did a great job. I can not recommend this practise highly enough even if your nervous about seeing the dentist. On a separate note, they have also gone the extra mile in terms of COVID protection for the team and their customers.

Fantastic experience: I haven’t been dentist for nearly 30 years due to my phobia. After doing a bit of researching I came across forest road surgery, I came for a consultation with ray who put me at ease straight the way, I had a X-ray and we put together a plan which I am going through. Negative experience: I was very disappointed that our dentist Andy Slevin has left the practice without explanation. Our family rated him as a top dentist and an ex-dentist who was one of Andy Slevin's patients also rated him very highly. Good dentists are few and far between. Losing an excellent dentist will impact the practice, hence one star rather than five.

Of course the departure of any long-standing team member is sad. I can only apologise if the message regarding our colleague's departure, which all of our patients have been gradually getting as we work our way through his list of patients didn't quite get to you in time.
As you can appreciate, there are hundreds of patients we are trying to contact to inform them of his departure. This process does indeed take time as we continue to care for all of our loyal patients despite the absence of your previous dentist.
I am pleased to say that even in his absence, we continue to make ourselves available for same-day emergency appointments for our loyal patients as well as follow up with a courtesy telephone call the next day to ensure that they are feeling fine and to assist further if necessary. It is a service our entire team is incredibly proud of and work tirelessly every day to maintain our high standards as can be seen by the many positive reviews about our service and care towards our patients.
Whilst the obvious disappointment of our colleague's departure was cause for concern enough to leave a 1-star review, our care for you and all of our patients remains unchanged and we hope is worthy of 5-stars like the myriad other reviews that our wonderful patients have been kind enough to leave us over the years.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant dentist! Receptionists are always friendly and helpful. Dental treatment received over the years has been amazing. Ok a little expensive at times but having been to an NHS dentist for a few years and then going back to private it is worth the extra money. Recovery after fillings and a root canal is so much quicker. Always a 'can do' attitude to save my teeth no matter what damage I have caused them with all the chocolate I eat. Highly recommended practice.
