Fantastic experience: My husband Martin went to his appointment and could not praise the staff enough, he even went to reception to tell them how nice the dentist was. I'm not signed up to the dentist but was with my husband at the time and I have to say they are always very professional and caring to the patients.

Negative experience: Absolute disgrace. I'm disabled and have frequent spells in hospital so I've had to change a lot of my appts. The surgery decided to take me off their list and when I appealed this I received a letter saying I missed an appt. in 2009!!!! Greedy dentist just wanting private patients and not interested in NHS patients and use any excuse to get rid of you.

Positive experience: I visited Southview for the first time. Although Ive been seeing an NHS Dentist, but it was a long way to travel. The dentist was a lovely hounv man I'm guessing newly qualified. The surgery was friendly the receptipnist efficient and friendly. The dentist was verh thorough, talked me through everythin g, took 3cx rays made a plan for the future. I wa however disappointed because I explained a tooth had lostvsome of its filling and wanted to keep it, so I thought he would fill it, bit he said he didn't have time today which I understand my first visit was to check eveything over. Hiwever I explained I was going on holiday soon and he agreed the flight often does more harm, but I couln't get an appointment until aftef the hols. I'm now in pain so I may have to ring for emergency appointment.

Unfortunately I had to get my tooth out but this was painless and I now feel much better. The outstanding care I was giving has helped and I now feel confident and have booked my first appointment.
