Fantastic experience: Heather Samuels has been my dentist for 3 years now. I am very pedantic about my teeth, but I trust Heather so much. She is excellent and a perfectionist. She always goes the extra mile, and takes the time to make sure that she has done everything possible. She is also honestly so kind, warm and lovely, and answers all of my questions (I ask a lot of questions). Her dental assistant, Priyanka is also amazing, and so attentive and kind, she puts me at ease straight away. If you are looking for a dentist, I highly recommend Heather and Priyanka.

Positive experience: The practitioner, Yara, took the time to explain the x-rays taken by her and previously, and to ensure that I fully understood the proposed programme for future treatment.

Fantastic experience: Despite receiving a doom and gloom diagnosis from another specialist implant dentist and a recommendation for outrageously expensive and convoluted treatment I found the complete opposite at Perfect Smile in Richmond. Their dental implant specialist, Mr Suneil Amin was positive and helpful. He was able to fix my problem immediately and proved to be highly competent as well as friendly and caring. It was also carried out at a very reasonable cost. Brilliant service - thank you.

Negative experience: Had composite bonding done. Felt that one tooth was rough and that the bonding had not attached. I was assured it was fine even though I could feel it was not. Surely enough it fell off outside of the critical window time and now I am left with the same broken tooth I paid over £300 to fix

Negative experience: Dentist is good but receptionist are so rude it ruins the whole experience. They’ve hung up on me multiple times and they’ve treated my dad the same way. Extremely unhelpful and zero etiquette. I will be changing dentist due to this and will change my parents too!

Fantastic experience: Just had a check up with dentist Heather and her dental nurse Magda, and found the whole experience pleasant and professional. I would recommend anyone with a nervous disposition to use Heather.

Negative experience: Update to my Perfect Smile review: They’ve now reimbursed me the full amount of the root canal (around £100), which is great… except I now need to spend a couple of thousand sorting out an implant for the tooth I lost. So, thanks for the refund, I guess—only a couple of thousands to go! Very poor experience. I had a root canal that was characterised as “simple and straightforward” hence no endodontist was required despite me asking for one. Well I should have known better - a few days after the root canal a huge crack on my tooth forced me to loose it. The bottom line is that if you want anything serious done, avoid.

Negative experience: Not a very good experience for me here unfortunately don't feel the dentist I hadcan deal with nervous patients actually frightened life out of me and didn't seem in least b8 bothered. I may have been NHS but think thankfully have relative who can help if I need to pay did explain to receptionist at time was nervous patient so should've been allocated a more experienced dentist not someone who had at time been only qualified 4 years that to me isn't a long time if a nervous patient throws up as I nearly did dentist deserves it. I have more of a phobia about seeing a dentist before I visited her so therefore not a gd result as not what I was aiming for

Negative experience: There was no intention to write any review but being forced to pen something here after being waited more than 30 minutes consecutively for my kid’s last 3 dental appointments. We respect your appointment system, which seems to be very strict, but our time ? Is it worthless? And a standard clinic in terms of other services, nothing special or outperforming others.

Negative experience: We arrived on time, the appointment before us arrived at the same time - so they were late. The reception staff sent the late people in before us! When we clearly should not have been made to wait when we were on time. Very badly managed by reception staff! Very unhappy to then have to wait 10 minutes because they were late

Negative experience: I called to register as a new patient at the suggestion of my local GP surgery. My call was met with hello, I had to enquire if I had the right number and it was in fact Perfect Smile. The receptionist did not like that query and put the phone down on me. I called back to ask if they were registering new patients to which I was asked if I would be private or NHS. When I answered I would be a NHS patient I was told there was a waiting list and no other information was given as to how long the wait would be or what I could do to get on the waiting list. From the moment I called I was met with unprofessionalism and perhaps if I was registering as a private patient I would have received common courtesy and help to register in the future at a practice closest to where I live.

My husband also received his Root Canal Treatment from Dr Sajni Kotecha, who has been excellent in offering outstanding patient centred care. Thank you to all the team at perfect smile Richmond including receptionists for your kindness taking phone calls and face to face. As well as thank you to the cleaners, although I have never met you, the practice is always spotless!

Fantastic experience: I genuinely couldn't be happier with every aspect of the service provided by Suneel and Magda. They are your absolute dream team of professionalism and personality. From start to finish my implant has been thoroughly explained and expertly, delicately discomfort free throughout. I'd also like to add that I was really impressed with the dentist who I saw last week. He has helpfully answered questions that I have been asking for years of my previous dentists, and had until now been dismissed with no suggestions. This is also the first time I have ever been shown photos of my teeth, which was incredibly helpful for understanding their status and making decisions in conjunction with the x rays. The hygenist was also excellent. She was friendly, efficient, non judgemental, and generally a pleasure to visit.

Negative experience: Unfortunately the dentists don't care about you at all, I had 2 of my teeth filled and in both cases the dentist has left the contact open! It's not only very hurtful every time you eat, but also Dentists are perfectly aware that an open contact can result in decay, gum disease and all sort of problems but they don't have the technique to be able to close the contacts! It's really awful!

Negative experience: extremely bad experience, I took my 5 and half year old son as he needed 2 fillings , the Dr did it and the filling fell out 3 times !!! and then she just widened the holes more to clean them and left them open with a huge hole saying that she wasn't able to do the fillings because she is not experienced with kids !!! and sent us away. and now the damage has reached the roots on both sides . I am absolutely furious with this doctor and with this whole clinic and we will not let this go after all the unnecessary pain and emotions that my son has gone through

Negative experience: Poor filling work that had to be reworked by another dental practice 12 months after. This was despite me going back to PS and highlighting the issue. They did some work on it but it didn’t fix the problem. I was told by the new dentists that there was no way I could have kept the tooth healthy through brushing and flossing because I was left with an undercut from the filling that collected food. A shame because the staff are nice and it is convenient. Perhaps my experience is a one off, but that’s my honest review.

Fantastic experience: I had a hygienist appt today with Dr Mariana Bovolato. She is singularly THE best dental hygienist I have ever been treated by! I told her I was nervous and normally found the treatment very painful. She was sympathetic and VERY gentle and despite this has done a wonderful job cleaning my teeth and clearing plaque etc. My teeth and mouth feel wonderful and I want to smile at people all the time!

Positive experience: Friendly reception staff. Good dentist (Dr Rujuta). But poor service when having booked this NHS appointment back in January 2022 (yes that’s how long the waiting list was!) to be told only a week before my 2nd November 2022 appointment that it needed to be rescheduled as ‘the dentist was not working that day’ was inexcusable. I’d arranged my life around that initial appointment, including coming back from holiday early the day before so as not to miss it. Better forward planning please!
