Fantastic experience: she was understanding about my mental health issues and put my mind to rest about my teeth not being completely wrecked. Her and her assistant were super friendly and asked about me which is reassuring

Fantastic experience: I have been with Welldene Dental Clinic, Ashford, Kent for some time and have always been welcomed by friendly staff. I have had various procedures done including implants. I am impressed with the results by the professional team of dentists, they understand and listen to your view of what you want done and talk you through the procedure which is great. The cost is reasonable to achieve that great smile! I needed to have a crown sorted out quick. The reception lady managed to book me in to sort it the same day. Brilliant caring service. Thank you. Reception person was very nice and professional. The treatment I needed was quickly assessed by Kris. When it was finished I was very happy with the result. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit and despite being incredibly nervous of the dentist, I had a wonderful experience. The staff were so kind and respectful of my anxiety and allowed me extra time to accommodate breathers in between checks. online booking was so convenient and I payed much less than I have elsewhere for a much kinder and more respectful service. My last dentist told me to just brush better to remove hard plaque build up, which has led to gum damage as I have tried to brush away the build up to no avail. This dentist cleaned my teeth thoroughly and removed plaque that has bothered me for years, and explained how I can care for them without placing blame on me and ignoring what I told them. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Negative experience: My wife called this dentist for a price for a check up and clean and was told it’s £40 for the check up and £72 for a clean , when she came home she said she was charged £84 for the check up , so I called and asked for a price for a check up and it was told £40 , so I asked what was included for the £40 ? and I was clearly told a check up and a X-ray is included , then I ask why did you charge my wife £84 ? I was told maybe because she had x-ray ! But I was just told that was included! No mater how I tried to explain, you just told me it’s including a x-ray , I was ignored like I was lying very frustrating…. If you’re going to provide an extra service then you should let the patient know this is going to be an extra charge ! Then ask would you like it ? Not just do it and charge after it’s unethical and cheating people out of the hard earned money… Get your prices clear and don’t do work with out explaining there’s a extra cost involved, Definitely won’t be going back to again, so definitely ask for a clear explanation of the price for the work required as we did but still got charged more …. Just feel cheated!!!

Fantastic experience: the dentist was very kind and honest , some are not as i found out when i visited another local dentist who wanted to charge over £10000, for treatment i didnt need

Positive experience: Very disappointing. Booked my initial appointment 4 weeks in advance. Welldene sent me a reminder 2 days before that date, but then contacted me the day before my visit to tell me the dentist had another appointment on that day and I would need to rebook. Offered one date initially which I was unable to attend, and when I tried to rebook the very next day was offered an appointment 6 weeks later as 'we are very busy'! Although I was informed they had dentists available if I wanted an 'emergency' appointment. Contacted Patient Feedback team, via email, to discuss and, currently, after two weeks have yet receive even an acknowledgment. UPDATE: Subsequently received an understanding letter from the practice manager, and after contacting him a short notice appointment was arranged with a nice dentist. Review amended accordingly.
