Fantastic experience: First treatment in a long time, new patient and the receptionists are lovely and informative. Nervous patient needing a filling with injection and I didn’t feel a thing I was out to ease straight away. Only thing is my appointment 15:35 and didn’t get called until 15:55 but no rush so was ok that time.

Negative experience: Poor poor and again poor!!! It's only here that you go to the dentist with a swollen face, you pay them £75 for some crappy X-ray and there's no surgeon who can pull your tooth out...well that's bullshit..you can go home and they'll call me somewhere to do it...well but what will happen until then??I hope the NHS pays for the days I miss!! The situation is better in Slovakia if I look at this aspect!!!!I can't go on a reach truck with a swollen face, go to a drafty place to work,,but for this reason, just wait!!!

Fantastic experience: I've had a broken tooth since Friday evening. Couldn't get in to anywhere in the weekend so I called my dentist Monday morning and they gave me a same day appointment. The receptionists were kind and welcoming. The treatment was quick and done nicely. The dentist ( T. Ahmad ) explained what he was doing and what I shall expect in the case the filling comes out. Thank You very much

Fantastic experience: Called in for an emergency appointment I got one for the same day. Had tooth taken out literally within seconds. Thaer is aware I have anxiety issues and he was very friendly helped me relax before he started the treatment and quickly got the problem tooth out also sorted follow up appointment. The young blonde receptionist was also very helpful. Really happy with all the staff

Positive experience: The receptionist staff were very friendly and congenial. They were happy to accommodate particular dates I required for subsequent visits. There was a rather long wait despite arriving well before my appointment tome. The dentist I saw is friendly, however I do feel pressured to undergo sales options I am not sure are absolutely necessary, and they were not able to make the case either way. I also felt overwhelmed by many options thrown at me without much towards the efficacy of one option over the other. Facilities were clean and tidy. The dentist assistant was efficient and did not drown me with the water suction pipe. The experience in the chair was brief and efficient, if a little impersonal.

Negative experience: Rang to make an appointment as was in pain and flying out for a month in two weeks time. I was told no appointments were available until December so like more than a month later! Went online and booked appoint for three days later so appointment was available clearly. At appointment dentist didn’t even look at me let alone say hi or ask how I’m doing. It was all rushed and was very aggressive with pulling my mouth/ cheeks to check my teeth. He just checked my teeth and then went back to computer to click away, didn’t even say bye or tell me that’s all done, nothing. I had to ask is that everything can I go and he said yes go! Never had such bad service!

Negative experience: I would have given zero stars if it was an option. Charged my wife £100 for blowing air onto her teeth??? Absolutely criminal and made no mention of these charges before providing this very expensive premium air. Also, she had a filling booked in which was subsequently cancelled and then no effort made to re-book. Avoid this dentist at all costs, absolutely disgraceful.

Negative experience: Never have I been treated so poorly. Mr SUJIT KAINTH was very unprofessional and intimidating. He was very rude and blunt. He gave me 5 years to live !? I thought I was at the dentist not A&E??!! If you have an appointment with him I’d recommend you to change dentists. The receptionist was also rude, long wait and not very helpful.

Positive experience: This was my third visit to day to the dentist practice i was hoping that I would see the same dentist as last time i did she was polite very thorough and I left me feeling confident she explained to me i had a tooth that the root had a lot of decae and needed to be extracted but because of the proximity to my sines she could not do it so was referred to a dental surgeon i was surprised to hear this was going to cost £ 75 thats the NHS for you trying to drive people to go private , but for the dentist i just hop she stays and she becomes my regular dentist

Positive experience: Appointment at 16.10 but not seen until 16.35 , it seem I hadn't been booked properly.

Fantastic experience: I went for a first appointment was met by very friendly staff on the front desk. Could not do enough for me booked me in within five minutes. I was being seen to the dentist was exceptional as was his assistant had a checkup x-rays done and spoke at length about what needs to happen next. Nobody really likes to go to the dentist because unlike going to the doctors you know there’s possibly going to be pain If you need to have a filling or a tooth out, however I have no issues with going back to have my treatment in two weeks time. This is a fantastic practice and if anybody has anything else to say I would take it with a pinch of salt as the two times I’ve attended The staff and the service has been exceptional. If you need to find a dentist then come to this place I find it 2nd to none.

Negative experience: The staff are friendly but the practice is unreliable. Last year, I had my routine checkup cancelled on three separate occasions (all on the same day). I called recently for an emergency appointment and the next slot offered was six weeks away, effectively forcing me to look at private treatment elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Visited Friday 01/08/25 Greeted by nice receptionists , my appt was 9 am , called in before 5 past 9 by a lovely dental nurse/assistant , Met dentist who explained everything that was happening All procedure was done with great care and no pain at all About 35/40 minutes in chair for 2 fillings and extraction Dentist advised mr to sit a while once finished , then explained what to do in following 24 hrs which I have done and pleased to say all good no need for pain relief meds after anesthetic wore off 100% recommend

Positive experience: Well was going ok but when I got into the dentist he was asking what medication I was on and said it should all be on there as my son wrote them all on my registration forms last week or the week before. So I thought all was OK when they booked my appointment over the phone. If they had said they hadn't got them I could have took them with me today but didn't So had to re book my appointment so they could see my medication so it is now August the 13th so not happy

Fantastic experience: I had toothache. Called early morning for emergency appointment, which they did arrange for me the same day. My dentist explain the cause and treatment.

Negative experience: in general this is a great practice, but when I turn up for my appointment on the 24th to find out that the work that I was expecting to be done could not be as the cast taken from the impression taken had broken. these were taken at the end of May, and an appointment could have been made to retake these impression, I had made the appointment this late as it was more convenient for myself as I dont work in Burton and normal can not get to appointment, so because of this the work probable will not be done while im on holiday (before the beginning of September ) I was needless to say very upset about this as the acrylic denture I have no longer fits properly and its cause some pain so I have another appointment in just under 2 weeks now, but will still have to wait for the bridge to be made up, I have a very small mouth as it is and have had very bad experiences with dentists in the past and this does not help considering how expensive private services is Andrew

Fantastic experience: I attended to see the hygienist. I was seen by two lovely ladies, on time, who clearly cared about my needs. They told me what they were going to do and I asked for a local anaesthetic due to very painful gums. This was administered expertly without any pain and then proceeded. Everything went well without any discomfort whatsoever. Thank-you.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to High Street Dental Practice and I was very pleased overall. All the staff I encountered were were professional and friendly and made me feel at ease. My examination and xrays not uncomfortable or unpleasant. My only criticism would be the registration process. I had to visit the practice in person and fill in forms manually, then I had to fill in forms electronically via email link, which covered the information I had already provided, then I was asked many of the same questions by the dentist prior to my examination. This process could be significantly streamlined.
