Fantastic experience: Extremely happy with my amazing new partial dentures, so natural, fitted straight in and haven't had to go back for any adjustments. Many thanks to Emilia for her understanding and patience with me as a very nervous patien. Also many thanks Mafalda and all the staff at the York Dental Suite. I recommend this practice especially if you are nervous as they do everything in their power to make you feel at ease. In my experience they are excellent!

Fantastic experience: Dr Mafalda Queiroz is by far one of the best dentists i have ever been too and on top of that every other single member of staff i met or had an appointment with were just brilliant. I felt comfortable and well looked after every single time I came and even on a few occasions where I had to cancel because I was unwell the girls on reception would call to check how I was and if I was okay. You really couldn't come anywhere nicer. Im so grateful for everything they have done for me and I look forward to continuing further treatments here. Fantastic experience: Just been for my first visit with Dr Krishan which was excellent and exceeded my expectations. Was made to feel really at ease and was great to run through all treatment options in great detail. The practice itself is very nice also with a spa / beauty clinic feel. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this dentist enough! As someone who had a dental phobia and still gets nervous, they have been so kind and caring and really put me at ease from the start. I have had to have some emergency work recently and they have been so amazing, taking the time to fullyexplain everything to me and talk through all my options with patience and empathy, making me feel valued and listened to. The atmosphere is more spa like than a dentist and it feels welcoming, relaxed and calm. Everyone there is so lovely and it has made everything much easier to deal with and I wouldn't go anywhere else now

Fantastic experience: Just had my first appointment here after researching GDC, CQC, Company, owner and associate, etc. which all check out. It's a really professional and friendly service. Dr Sleigh spent adequate time with me, explained everything clearly and I felt like my dental hygiene was important to her and she was a professional. Positive experience: Came here because I was previously treated by Mafalda but she refused to see me and assigned me to Georgie. Was told I had I needed a lot of fillings. Agreed to do some of the deeper ones then went for a second opinion, just in case, and was told something completely different. I’m an anxious person and it felt like Georgie was fed up with me at times. Mafalda is a brilliant dentist but as this clinic specialises in cosmetic dentistry, the staff are not accustomed to seeing anxious patients. If I ever need Invisalign or other braces, I’ll probably consider then but for general dentistry it’s best to go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: I came to the York Dental Suite late last year as I was getting married in the May and wanted to look at the options for straightening my teeth. From the very first initial enquiry through to my first visit, it was seamless and perfect and nothing was ever too much trouble. As someone who generally doesn't like the Dentist, I felt almost like a member of the family and so welcome, which immediately put my nerves at ease. The whole team is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable in their field. I cannot thank them enough for everything that they have done for me over the last 12 months. Normally people wouldn't say they will miss the Dentist, but honestly, I will miss visiting often (except for my check-ups) and having a laugh with everyone. Fantastic experience: As always the experience and level of service with Malfalda and her team was exemplary and for once (after many years) I didn’t shake once.

Positive experience: We attended York Dental Suite for Invisalign treatment for our 12 year old daughter who had badly misaligned teeth (top teeth biting behind the bottom ones). The treatment, which took around 18 months, required her to wear aligners 22 hours per day. She also had to scan her teeth every week using a device which attaches to a mobile phone. The treatment has been effective, and she now just needs to wear retainers at night to keep her teeth aligned. Her mouth is also more comfortable, and the shape of her face is improved. I would definitely recommend the Invisalign treatment, although you do need to be sure your child is significantly motivated to persist with it (wearing aligners day and night, cleaning teeth every time food is taken before replacing aligners, performing the scans regularly). The staff at the York Dental Suite have been helpful and supportive throughout the course of treatment.

Fantastic experience: Front of house staff, Rachael, Jemma and Charlotte are excellent, highly efficient, extremely patient and kind. Michaela is proving to be a supportive dental nurse on my Angel Aligner journey. Finally, Abbie is the best hygienist I have ever encountered - She really knows her stuff and is very helpful.

The entire team were so very friendly, kind and professional, explaining clearly every step along the way. I already knew Dr Mafalda Queiroz from another practice in York from years ago and decided to look her up and I'm utterly delighted I have done so and wish I'd done it earlier. She is a consummate professional, always putting in extra effort to make one feel relaxed and she offers options without any pressure to have treatment. Her new dental suite is beautiful and she has chosen such a great team of staff to compliment her professional and friendly practice, suffice to say I highly recommend her.

Tracie was so welcoming and helped me make a decision on what I wanted before I had the treatment done with Dr Meghan, who has done a fantastic job of giving me lovely teeth. The staff were so genuine, warm and friendly that the experience was so personable. They went out of their way to build such a good rapport with me and not only that, but they were so fantastic with my 3 year old who I brought to some of the appointments. They really went above and beyond to keep her entertained (huge, huge thank you to Rachel and Irina!) which shows how much they genuinely care for their patients. The team were extremely professional and not once in the 4.5hrs I was sat in the chair did they ever have a conversation over the top of me that wasn’t to do with teeth or without me involved which highlights their level of professionalism. They were informative and patient with me throughout which massively put me at ease and relaxed during the process. Highly recommend anyone opting to have treatment done here. I wouldn’t hesitate to come here again for any treatment as I know they will make sure I am accommodated. Lastly, a massive thank you to the lovely Charlotte who was an absolute gem! Fantastic experience: I recently came for my first appointment at the York dental suite for my first dental examination and was greeted by Charlotte and Chloe who were very helpful in explaining what the exam entailed. I then went for my examination with Mafalda which was a Brillant, especially the 3d mouth scan. I have since then had my first hygiene appointment which was carried out by Abbie. I had an hour long appointment which at any other practice would have felt along time but it flew by. All the staff really make you feel at ease with there calm nature and professionalism Fully recommend

Negative experience: My experience at York Dental Suite was a mix of positives and negatives that I feel compelled to share. Firstly, the clinic boasts a chic facade and the reception staff were notably friendly, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. In particular, I must commend the practice manager, Sarah Bycroft, for her exceptional care and attentiveness throughout my visit. Despite the sensitivity of a tooth on the bottom right side, Dr. Mafalda proposed treatments without thoroughly examining the area to pinpoint the cause of discomfort. Instead of meticulously investigating the troubling tooth, she suggested starting treatments with an appointment with a hygienist and two fillings, coincidentally in the same area as the unknown sensitive pain. She argued that if the sensitivity did not originate from those two teeth, then surely the adjacent tooth would be the culprit, highly probable to require a root canal. This approach overlooked the importance of accurately identifying the problematic tooth and led to a potentially misguided treatment plan Moreover, during the appointment, there was a discrepancy between the proposed treatment plan and what was communicated at the reception desk. When seeking clarification, Dr. Mafalda appeared dismissive and unwilling to address my concerns, which was disheartening. Fortunately, I sought a second opinion from another private dental clinic, which proved invaluable. The new doctor prioritized identifying the troubling tooth and provided a more focused treatment plan, avoiding unnecessary procedures. It became evident that Dr. Mafalda's approach may have led to misguided treatment decisions and potential delays in addressing critical issues. Overall, while York Dental Suite has its merits, such as its inviting ambiance and friendly staff, there are significant areas for improvement. Dr. Mafalda's apparent prioritization of ticking boxes over genuine patient care and well-being is concerning and warrants reflection.

Negative experience: I am a retired consultant Anaesthetist and needed multiple dental extractions and fitting dentures. After initial payment of £300 for consultation which was excessive , I was shocked to receive an estimated cost of £8400 for dental extraction at £500 per single tooth extraction and for dental impressions. Then unspecified cost of fitting denture which I hated to think that it would cost thousands of pounds more. At this stage I opted out and found myself another much cheaper dentist who is more qualified and experienced than this young woman .Beware of fake positive reviews.

Fantastic experience: I was with Mafalda before she opened York Dental Suite. I followed her to her practice. Mafalda is an exceptionally good dentist. It's more than a job to Malfalda. Mafalda is interested in you, makes the experience personal and is very good with people who are nervous or/and Dental/needle phobic. Mafalda is patient and kind. She has treated all my family at various stages of their lives. She is very gentle in her work, using all the up to date equipment and resources Mafalda will not overcharge you, is conscious of the cost of living crisis and the lack of NHS dentists now. Malfada has gone out of her way to ensure I can afford treatments, prioritising what needs to be done now, costings for the future etc so I can budget for this. I have many problems with my teeth due to health issues and this is important to me to be aware of costings now and for the future, so I can budget. As you can see from my review I totally recommend Mafalda

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to York Dental Suit for the first time in December on an emergency appointment after a little accident I had with my tooth.Dr.Mafalda straight away took me in as soon as I arrived and fixed my tooth perfectly in minutes after examining it. Since then I’ve been to other appointments a couple of times again with D.Mafalda and also with the Hygienist,both are lovely and made me feel very comfortable. Fantastic experience: I came to the York Dental Suite to enquire about Invisalign. Since my first appointment I have been made to feel at ease through the professionalism and attentive nature of all the staff at the York Dental Suite. I have never felt rushed or pressured to make any decisions and have had all the necessary procedures explained to me in detail. Absolutely fabulous care which I cannot fault!

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience from start to finish....more of a spa feeling than a dentist. From a warm welcome on the reception by Chole who made me feel very welcome nothing was to much trouble. Fantastic experience: Made at ease from entering to exit.my plan was explained in detail so i knew what was happening and when.just had a tooth extraction was so smooth i almost fell asleep.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to this practice from another practice, as my problems were described as 'complex'. I saw Dr Stephen Taylor who was extremely friendly and professional, took a lot of time to listen to me and to examine my teeth. He came up with a plan to solve the issues I was having with a very painful crown and several other teeth as a consequence - it was difficult to eat anything. 5 months on after his excellent treatment, I have no pain at all and can eat normally. I am more than delighted with the results and would recommend Stephen and this practice wholeheartedly.

Fantastic experience: Warm, welcoming staff. Jess has been lovely to my daughter. Very patient with her. The dental nurse (has long blonde hair) who we saw at previous appointments was so warm and friendly. Unfortunately the nurse who I believe was the sedation nurse came across as very cold with my daughter.

Fantastic experience: I could not recommend this practice to people enough, they generally care about the clients that walk through the door and ensure to make you feel welcomed and comfortable every step of the way no matter what you are there for. A massive thank you to all the staff there who are just an amazing set of people where nothing is ever too much to ask. No matter who it is such as Chloe or Rachel on reception, Georgie or even Dr Mafalda Queiroz herself, you are treat with the same level of care.

Fantastic experience: Mifalda and her team are wonderful. The practice is beautiful and feels professional and sophisticated as soon as you enter. Mifalda is so gentle and kind. I have the worlds most sensitive teeth and she is very understanding and patient. She reassures you throughout any treatment and encourages you to get in touch if you’re are unsure if anything. The whole team from the receptionists to the dental nurses are so caring and professional. I travel a long way to see them all because it’s worth it. The treatment I have had so far has been the best I have ever experienced. I can’t recommend them enough.
