Fantastic experience: I have just had my tooth removed using a sedative, I have a problem using dentists down to my gag reflex brought on by hayfever primarily. The team made me feel welcome and relaxed, they were kind, caring and excellent at what they do. I cannot reccomend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I am sorry that I took so long reviewing my treatment with your dental practice... I was referred by Ambience to Peter Yesudian at One, Wood Street, for my implant procedure and it was started in late February. he was highly recommended by my own dentist. I had lost a lower molar and needed bone grafting, so the procedure was over a long period of weeks, finishing in July. I was well looked after throughout the time and at no time felt anxious. the staff were so lovely. He took many opportunities to review the implant at the various stages and I felt safe in his hands. The implant and crown look and work like a natural tooth, and I am very pleased with the result. Although a pricy procedure, I felt that I was in the very best and safest hands. I also found Peter and his assistants to be a very approachable, pleasant and happy team and I was at the centre of their attention during my implant journey. thank you all.

Fantastic experience: My dentist referred me to Peter following a check up to discuss the possibility of loosing a tooth. Peter and his team took x rays and scans to ensure that it was possible to have an implant. The process of the whole treatment was carried out in a very timely manner from the extraction to the final fit of the crown. I was very anxious about having dental work carried out but Peter was aware of this and I was made to feel at ease and was pleased with the end result. The professionalism of the whole team were first class and wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to One Wood Street by my NHS dentist to have a bridge replaced. I was reluctant to start tampering with it, but it was old and needed doing. I should not have worried about a thing, Assif and Clare were both great! They both talked me through the work that needed doing, I was able to set up all the appointments required at the time I booked the treatment, and I received a full breakdown of what was being done and when. I began with some whitening treatment to ensure the rest of my teeth looked good when the new bridge was put in. The whitening was a great recommendation, it’s made my teeth look far better, without looking unnatural. I experienced very little discomfort when removing the original bridge. I had to have a temporary one for a couple of weeks while the new one was made, which looked good so I was already feeling like I made a good decision using this practice, but the final bridge looks amazing, feels good and looks far better than the original. If you are considering using this practice, don’t think anymore, go for it, you will not be disappointed. Assif is a miracle worker and Clare is great. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I was referred back to One Wood Street 7 years after having my dental implant fitted by Peter, as my usual dentist was concerned there was bone loss. Peter and his team were brilliant - they made me feel safe (as I've struggled with anxiety) and took an x-ray which showed no problems. I recommend Peter, he has a kind, gentle manner and obviously cares about his patients, and I've had no problems with the implant.

Fantastic experience: I went for a second opinion after seeing another dentist frequently , & felt so well looked after that I moved practises completely. My treatment plan has been brilliant , & I’ve had dental work doing that I never thought I’d be able to manage (without sedation) Dr Shah is fabulous. The hygienists fabulous. Fantastic experience: My Dentist referred me to Mr Peter Yesudian at One Wood Street after an emergency extraction to discuss options; I chose an implant. I am usually anxious attending dental appointments but was at ease from the initial appointment. The process of referral was timely; I had diagnostic x-rays to ensure the bone density was suitable for treatment. The subsequent appointments and treatment received was pain free. I found the professionalism of the whole Practice to be outstanding and have no hesitation in making this recommendation. The advice I would give to anyone having the same treatment would be to seek a referral as soon as possible and to not delay a this could impact treatment options. I am incredibly happy with the result and the aftercare received.

Fantastic experience: I was referred from my own dentist to see if there was an option for implants for my front 4 teeth that had previously been crowned rather that a denture. I was delighted when Peter said that he could put in 2 implants and a bridge. Fantastic experience: My husband has been a patient of Alison for a number of years and has always found her to be very pleasant and extremely clever in her profession . He was also very impressed with the pleasant and kind dental nurse, Clare Morrison. who works along side Alison. I have been a patient at One Wood Street for as long as my husband, but with another dentist. As we are getting older I asked if I could change my Dentist to Alison as it would be much more convenient for us to have an appointment together to save on the travelling. The practice agreed for us to do this and we both attended One Wood Street this week. I have always been nervous of attending the dentist, but I need not have worried this time. I have great pleasure in recommending Alison. She greeted me with a lovely smile and happy personality. I suffer with Polymyalgia and find it very painful to lay down. Fantastic experience: I was referred to One Wood Street from my General Dentist as I had a painful abscess which required specialist root canal treatment. I am very anxious going to the dentist and I was very apprehensive having to undergo root canal treatment. Marina the Endodontist and her lovely dental nurse Stacey were brilliant. Marina explained everything step by step of the treatment needed. They were both kind and reassuring at both appointments. Thank you Stacey for holding my hand a few times I felt totally confident in Marinas hands she is excellent at her job and I totally recommend her for any complex root canal treatment. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back if I needed Root Canal treatment again. In fact I wish she was my regular dentist! Thank you so much x

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend One Wood Street Advanced Dental Care enough! I recently had an appointment for some treatment and felt extremely nervous when I arrived (no idea why because I've only ever had a great experience with the practice). Dr Alison and Fatoumata were amazing! They were kind, caring, understanding and patient with me. Both took time to regularly check how I was doing during my treatment and offered constant reassurance too, which meant so much to me. It's clear Dr Alison and everyone at the practice really care about their patients and all do an excellent job! (Thank you Dr Alison and Fatoumata for looking after me! )

Fantastic experience: I was referred as my own dentist was asking to have a consultation to look at my teeth by a specialist due to having problems, I was still experiencing pain to my front tooth that I had an accident at Christmas and fractured one of my front tooth and also one of my back tooth needs to be investigated as my dentist do not deal with back molars when having a dental procedure. The experience was great and makes you feel relaxed and caring, has been a pleasant experience and caring to myself. Should anyone looking for specialist treatment, I would give assurance that Marina I an experienced and professional dentist and would advice anyone to contact and have them to go to her for any advice and help she is so caring when providing helpful and uses specialist equipment.

They have been punctual, the dentist and nurse friendly, all aspects of the treatment were well explained, the 2 extractions went well and healed nicely and I appreciated the after care phone call to check in the following day.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to One Wood Street by my regular dentist for an extraction, implant and the fitting of 2 crowns. All went very smoothly with no problems. Peter and his team are very professional, friendly and efficient and they instil great confidence. I was surprised at how easily the crowns were fitted and how they felt completely natural straight away. The techniques used were an advancement on those I had experienced a few years ago with another practice: both more comfortable and more efficient. Fantastic experience: My dentist referred me to Peter following an accident resulting in damage to my face and nose, the loss of 2 teeth, one of which had been driven upwards into the gum. The whole experience was very traumatic and emotional. Treatment allowing trauma to heal and extractions to make way for implants to be inserted took 10 months and I am delighted with the result Peter and his staff were quietly efficient, extremely kind and put a very nervous patient such as me at ease for which I thank them. The procedure was clearly explained to me and was carried out smoothly and painlessly. The service was skilled and professional. The staff all inspire confidence. Fantastic experience: I recently was referred to Peter at One Wood Street Dentist via my own dentist in Hungerford, after being advised that I would need a bottom molar tooth extraction and an implant done in it's place. I had previously had an implant done with Peter many years ago, and felt at ease again from the moment I walked in the door from all the team. I was advised on every step on my first visit with a treatment plan and financial costs with each payment listed as to how much and when payment would be needed. Peter is a very caring, understanding dentist and although I was a little anxious on different appointments Peter picked up on this and with a little joke and day to day chat I felt at ease and in safe hands quickly. I would recommend Peter and his team to anyone, I haven't looked back since having my treatment and know they are just a phone call away if I have any queries. Fantastic experience: I am an extremely anxious patient at the dentist. To have an extraction is terror. Peter and his team were amazing I truly was safe and felt nothing the sedation was really good and when Peter prepped me for sedation I didn’t even know he had inserted a needle. Fantastic experience: I was referred to One Wood Street by my dentist, who felt that the extraction of an upper molar which had an abscess required performing by a specialist. When I went to see Mr Yesudjian he was pleasant and gave me a good explanation of the procedure, which he was able to perform in just a couple of minutes. He gave me helpful written instructions on how to care for the extraction site, and I received a follow-up telephone call the next day. Overall I was very impressed by the service and treatment, and although I hope not to need Mr Yesudian's services again, I will happily return if needed.

Fantastic experience: Had a problem with a tooth for a very long time and was referred to One Wood Street Advanced Dental Care for an extraction. Being very apprehensive and Dental phobic I was petrified to say the least! The team made me feel very comfortable and relaxed from the time I walked through the door till the time I left. Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Advanced Dental care on referral due to a crack in a molar I was feeling anxious as my holiday was looming and needed to resolve a cracked tooth, On arrival I was welcomed by reception staff, they kindly asked me to fill out a form which also can be done via an email link, I was then shown to a secondary waiting area by Dental Nurse Fatoumata, then introduced to Peter Yesudian Consultant/Oral surgeon, Peter welcomed me and made me feel assured I was in skilled hands, Peter carried out an oral assessment and confirmed vertical crack evident in rear lower Molar, Peter then explained the only option is to extract the tooth, He then said rather than making a second visit I can remove your tooth now, I said that's great saves me healing time, he then thoroughly explained the extraction process he also gave me information for extraction and post op care to read through, I then signed consent form to extract tooth , Peter then carried out extraction which was very straight forward a quick procedure, He gave me information if I felt a replacement tooth was required, I felt relieved knowing that I can enjoy my holiday. Fantastic experience: One Wood Street is an amazing Practice. I wouldn’t go anywhere else now. I cannot recommend Lajja highly enough. She is a fantastic dentist. Very kind, caring, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Lajja always gives a proper explanation and treatment plan. She puts you at ease. She spots problems early. Lajja is the best dentist I have ever had. Becky the hygienist is fabulous too. Very kind, caring, professional and encouraging. She is very friendly and puts you at ease. Fantastic experience: Becky is absolutely the best hygienist that I have ever been treated by. She listens to what I have to say, including any concerns and responds appropriately. Because I have sensitive teeth, she cleans and polishes them by hand, not using high speed technology, which I always found very uncomfortable. She also takes time to explain, in detail, how I can improve my own dental care and when I next see her comments on the results. Because of this I do not dread my visits, but look forward to them. I have been treated by her for several years now and would hate to have to see someone else.

My experience of the whole practice from reception staff to tooth extraction, having implants, x-rays and now general check ups with Alison and Claire. I felt totally cared for from the first visit. Fantastic experience: I have been with One Wood Street practice for many years. I have had a couple of implants in the past and recently needed a repair to a very old implant and Peter was brilliant, as always, and fixed it in no time. I have also recently had a lot of appointments with Alison who has been absolutely brilliant. I’m a very nervous patient and Alison was so kind and reassuring and I am delighted that she has miraculously brought my teeth back to full health. The nurses and reception staff also deserve praise as they are friendly, professional and a credit to the practice. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and would 100% recommend this practice if you want the very best of service and care.

Fantastic experience: It all started with having to have a number of teeth out in the lower jaw. Then there was the risk of complications because of medication for osteoporosis. It became a bit of a trial when the denture made at speed due to a pending overseas trip didn’t fit well. But bingo with both dental practice and denture maker pulling out the stops to get all absolutely right two days before our deadline. And all done by a the friendly staff at Wood Street dental in the kindest possible manner. A big thanks and a hug to Alison and the rest of the team.

Fantastic experience: I was initially apprehensive visiting the Hygienist but as Wood Street dental have looked after my interest for many years now I had no reason not to take the advice. This then was my first time with Becky and the experience has changed my outlook on Hygienist. I took away the advice to improve my gum health. A visit four months later as was recommended proved to be advantageous. The treatment to improve my gum health by Becky and her great assistant has by no means been anything but a swift and comfortable experience. Without any conscience I can hold our Wood Street Hygienist in high regard. Back in Six months time.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient at this practice for several years, regularly attending for checkups and various procedures. Most recently, I came in for a routine hygienist appointment with Becky, who I cannot recommend highly enough. As always, the treatment was thorough, on time, and tailored to my needs. Becky remembered details from my last visit and made sure to check everything, following up on previous concerns, which showed an exceptional level of care. The results have always been excellent, and I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. If you’re nervous or worried about any kind of dental treatment or surgery, this is the place to go – from the moment you walk in, you know you’re in the best hands. The team is always happy to answer any questions, and I’ve never felt rushed. I would give a special shoutout to Peter for his calmness and expertise during my wisdom teeth extractions, which made a potentially stressful experience much easier. But I’d also particularly like to highlight Becky – she is the kindest healthcare professional I’ve ever met, diligent, caring, and knowledgeable. Becky is one of those rare people who just “get it” – she genuinely cares about what matters: being thorough, kind, and always going the extra mile. If you have the chance to be treated by Becky, you’ll understand exactly what I mean. I’m incredibly happy with every treatment I’ve had and plan to be a lifetime patient of this practice.

Fantastic experience: I am delighted with the dental implants and bridge which were fitted this week. They feel comfortable and I am finding as a result that I am enabled to eat normally. The colour matches well and looks good and I am pleased with my improved appearance. The staff at the clinic were all helpful, friendly and professional and treated me with care and concern for how I was feeling.

I was in and out in 40 minutes - my experience was one of the most professional, efficient and practically pain fee of any Dentist visit! Fantastic experience: I had a dental implant here recently and was so impressed with the whole process. I did consider having sedation but in the end decided against, and was very glad I saved myself some money, as it would have been totally unnecessary! Peter Yesudian and his dental nurse put me completely at ease, and the whole procedure was remarkably pain free and straightforward. Fantastic experience: My son broke off the bottom half of one of his front teeth over the weekend. I contacted One Wood Street and they were able to see him at 10.30am on the Monday morning. Alison and Clare were amazing with him as he was apprehensive and very self conscious. They put him at ease and did everything they could to find a suitable temporary solution. Their calm demeanour made him feel relaxed and both he and I were very impressed with the outcome. Thank you so much for your help. I would highly recommend the practice.

Fantastic experience: It’s about 18 months now that I have been attending One Wood Street as a patient. The experience that I had on my very first appointment has been repeated over and again. All of my fears about going to the dentist, and about previous experiences, have completely evaporated, and I know that I am in very safe, capable and caring hands. Alison and Claire are both absolutely fantastic - they create such a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere during appointments, which in turn makes you, as the patient feel calm, relaxed and confident, almost able to forget where you are!! All of the staff, from the moment that you arrive in reception onwards, make a real difference with the way that they interact with patients. It is really appreciated. i cannot recommend the practice and staff highly enough.

Fantastic experience: On my first visit I was very nervous, as most of us would naturally be. I had nothing to worry about. From the moment I stepped in the door, my fears completely disappeared. All, and I mean ALL the staff have on every visit, made me welcome, like a friend rather than a customer! This continues to be the case each time I visit. They are all very professional. I have now had a number of implants done at One Wood Street and would always choose this method as I still do not feel ready for false dentures just yet, after all who is?

Fantastic experience: Today I visited Alison at One Wood Street. I came to her in a lot of pain. Alison took time to investigate everything thoroughly, talking me through everything she was doing. Thankfully she found the cause of my pain and took action immediately to correct it. I honestly can't say enough good things about my experience with her. She is fabulous, I am not a fan of going to the dentist but knowing I’m seen and looked after by Alison puts my mind at rest. Always kind, happy and professional. The whole service from start to finish is outstanding. 5 stars is not enough!

Negative experience: Trusted Google reviews and went there for some fillings and hygiene treatment. The process was easy, everyone was friendly, I had my 3 fillings done in a couple of months. During numbing of my upper teeth, I squinted for about 15 minutes after the injection. They said it was perfectly normal, but later another dentist said it wasn't normal. And this situation had given me a fear of needles as I realized later while I was crying and having heart beat before needles. While I was continuing to go for the filling of my other teeth, I told my dentist that a filling was causing pain, and she applied a gel to my tooth. Later, when I went back with the complaint of impact and heat sensitivity in my tooth, she checked it and said there was no problem. When I complained for the third time, she said she would refer me to a root canal treatment specialist in the same practice and they asked for an extra fee for the opinion of the root canal treatment specialist, but I did not accept it. Later, when another dentist in the same practice told me that my tooth needed root canal treatment, I could not trust them anymore and went to another place. When the dentist I went later opened my tooth for canal treatment, he said that a black cavity was left under the filling placed on my tooth, and he took a photo of it and showed it to me. I think the dentist who did the filling before opened the tooth and started cleaning it, but when she saw that it needed root canal treatment and since she did not perform root canal treatment herself, she filled my tooth without cleaning the bottom. The dentist was Dr Alison and these are my experiences with this dentist.
