Negative experience: Be Careful. I made an appointment due to having some pain. Initial xray showed healthy roots and no pocket, hence I was advised I needed a CT scan - that a CT scan would show any fine cracks that cannot be seen with eye or normal xray. I booked myself CT scan. Appointment day and prior to having CT scan, another dentist examined my tooth and stated 'I can see the crack', to which I replied 'so I don't need CT scan?' He stated that I still needed CT scan and that I would most definitely need a root canal doing. There were some discrepancies between what I was originally told regarding the pricing of CT scan, so I left without having it done. Did not like that one dentist could not see crack, then another could. Arrived home and put a torch and mirror in mouth, and crack would be hard to miss. I found a new dental practice. Gave no history regarding tooth or what I had been told. No CT scan needed. No root canal needed. Just a crown. New dentist also criticised a filling that I had done at the Rock - that filling was uneven, hence only portion of tooth was taking strain when chewing, instead of the whole tooth. I didn't need CT scan and I didn't need root canal....

Cracked teeth can be particularly difficult to diagnose — sometimes the signs are subtle and can be missed on initial examination or routine X-rays. In such cases, additional imaging (such as a CBCT scan) can be useful to confirm the extent of the crack and to guide the most appropriate treatment. We regret that you felt the advice you received was inconsistent and that this left you with doubts about the recommendations given.
We also note your concerns about treatment costs and the filling previously placed. We take matters like this seriously, and we would be happy to review your case notes, discuss your concerns in detail, and clarify why certain recommendations were made at the time. Fantastic experience: Steve has seen my father to resize his dentures. My father is in a home and suffers from dementia so it is quite a challenging situation. Steve and the whole team made the process as seamless as possible. He explained each step of the process and was never short of time with my father and I to go into any more detail should we need to further understand anything. Steve was so patient with my father throughout. After the impressions were taken newly refitted dentures were back within days and they were sparking clean and fitted perfectly. I cannot recommend Steve and the team at Rock Dental highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Great service from the whole team but particularly Lauren the hygienist who was really thorough and actually really did something about hard to reach plaque on back teeth - my past experiences with hygienists has always been a bit ambivalent and not sure whether worth actually spending the money on - from now on I will be coming regularly - she did far more than just a polish up and am converted!!

The Rock organised an emergency appointment for me on my return and as usual the service was first class. Fantastic experience: NHS treatment just wasn’t cutting it. Joined Rock Dental when I hit 30years old and it’s honestly the best thing I’ve done for my health. Spent a-bit initially to fix and replace some shoddy NHS work (by others) filling replacements and wisdom teeth out. but that alone made me realise how good Rock Dental is. Dentistry to this team is a passion and an art form. They are pro active on check ups looking ahead for potential issues that may come up and advising how to avoid needing treatment. Dr. Kam Panesar and Nurse Leah repaired a chipped front tooth just before Christmas, so I was able to smile confidently on Christmas Day. Kam also spotted an issue with my implant, and thanks to the helpful and proactive reception team, I was quickly booked in with Dr Minas Leventis and Nurse Kate, who resolved the problem. Fantastic experience: A really pleasant and professional service provided...The practice will always email you a couple of days before the appointment and then also follow up with courtesy call a day before the appointment to confirm if you will be attending..I had a root canal and a tooth reconstruction completed a few years ago which looked like it was not going to possible to save and even require an extraction but Kam god bless her managed to save the tooth and its amazing that to this day I have had no issue at all a great job done, cannot thank her and her team enough. Dawn has been instrumental in provinding excellent advice and guidance once again again cannot thank her and the team enough for the continued support...If you are looking for a good dentist..fully recommend this one.

Fantastic experience: Our daughter had a very painful tooth. She has been miss treated and given poor advice by her NHS dentist so I rang and asked my dentist at the Rock Dental Practice if she could be seen. They were very helpful and she was seen the same day. The receptionist was very accommodating and made us welcome. The dental nurse was lovely and made our 13 year old very comfortable and held her hand. The dentist Adam explained everything very well to me and my daughter so we both knew what was needed. Fantastic experience: Have been a patient at rock house for a few years now (my wife too). We find them to be professional, polite and outstanding. The reception team are friendly and very knowledgeable. I recently had a root canal procedure and was feeling quite nervous, the team at rock house recognised this and called me several times to talk through the procedure (calls from clinician/dentist/reception). When I came for the treatment I felt quite good about having it done based on all previous conversations. This is something I’ve never had at previous dental surgeries. Fantastic experience: I recommend this dentist to everyone I know. I still had 4 baby teeth with no adult teeth to follow which meant I had to face an alternative. Gemma & Kam were amazing and talked me through my options and we came to a decision which worked best for me. I was referred to Minas, the oral surgeon, who couldn’t have put me at more ease considering the extensive & complex procedures that I had to undertake. Gemma gave me a comprehensive plan and explained everything to me so it was understandable. The aftercare from Gemma was second to none, this even included a home visit to deliver further pain medication & antibiotics. I’ve had further general follow up appointments after this, including checkup and hygienist appointments seeing different members of staff and all of them are fantastic. Thanks to all staff at Rock Dental, including nurses and reception team who make you feel ever so welcome as soon as you walk through the door.

Fantastic experience: Rock Dental Practice was recommended to me by my dentist when the work I needed doing wasn't available through the NHS. Three years ago I started having procedures done that would eventually lead to the Implant that I needed. There were other options open to me but this is the route I chose. The team at Rock Dental Practice, in particular Dr Minas Leventis have been outstanding. They are professional, courteous and caring. Every procedure has been explained in full, what I need to have done and why. Dr Leventis has always made me feel at ease. Knowing that I'm an anxious patient, this has always been important. There is always a telephone call the following day to ensure that there are no problems. I would not consider chaging dentists now. I cannot thank the team enough. The treatment I have had is 5*. Fantastic experience: I have been with Rock Dental since 2017 and never regretted my choice. The journey started as an emergency patient with a broken tooth, on that day I phoned about 5 dental practices asking for an appointment but Rock Dental was the only one who gave me the same day appointment. As only a temporary filling was done on the day, I booked a later appointment to resolve an issue where ever since I was looked after the best dentist Anoup Nandra who performed various treatments. His work is immaculate and him being a perfectionist I was never rushed out and never felt him trying to get the work done quicker. I was always booked in for another appointment (free of charge) just to see if everything is fine. I trusted his professionalism all way through the treatments, I was always told what the options are, what the next steps will be, he always covered different scenarios clearly making me aware of what the best options are. The staff in the practice are all truly amazing, I never thought I would be chilling in the dentist’s chair but they manage to make you feel comfortable. Hygienist Dawn is very meticulous - another perfectionist in the industry. Endodontist Chris has also done a great work performing root canal treatments. Natalie who from managerial and admin duties can step in and assist the surgery has such a warm and welcoming nature, I think she can put at ease the most nervous and anxious patients. This practice has attracted a bunch of high level professionals who look after their patients as soon as they step through the door. Seeing this practice and team growing through meeting new specialists, I never have doubts of their professionalism as they never failed to deliver an excellent service. I have recommended this practice to my family and friends, even the neighbours on the estate. I am very grateful to each and everyone in this practice for taking care of my oral health and making me smile.

Fantastic experience: Went to rock house as struggling my nhs dentist to repair my slightly broken filling without them drilling out the entire tooth as they said it was major dental work. Fantastic experience: Overall amazing experience from the first phone call with my enquiry being answered polity and professionally to the numerous reminders via text email and phone call (this was a lifesaver and much appreciated) the waiting room is clean and tidy. Then into my appointment now I’m not a fan of dentists but Dr Aron was calming from the moment I walked in explained everything that she was doing and even managed to get me to have a deep clean/ scale and polish (first and last one of these was 14 years somewhere else). I’ve never been happier with the look of my teeth and this is only the first visit.

Fantastic experience: I initially went to Rock House because of the good reviews. I had toothache and was seen quickly, despite the fact that I was not yet a patient. The problem was dealt with and I registered with the practice. The dentists have always been straightforward and honest about what needs doing - and the reverse. I knew I needed work and once this was completed it has just been check-ups and hygienist work. At all times everyone at the practice has been helpful and polite.

Fantastic experience: Having had a hard time with my last dentist I rang Rock House and was delighted that within a couple of rings the phone was answered. Receptionist listened intently to my problem and asked if could be there within the hour. Upon my arrival found plenty of car parking space. I was greeted by name and requested to fill in form with my personal details. Then at the appointed time I was seen by the dentist. He gave a thorough examination and X-rays. He was very cooperative and professional. He outlined a course of treatment required which I found most informative as my old dentist had not identified any of my problems. The whole experience was lovely and everyone was so nice. They obviously care about their patients and took me on as a new patient.

Negative experience: Made enquiries about getting a quote to have two teeth replaced on a partial upper denture after losing them. I was informed that the initial cost started at £620.00 and wouldn't be done until after the Bank Holiday, I nearly fell off my chair. I repeated what I'd been told thinking I'd heard wrong, only to have it confirmed. Worth shopping around folks got it done same day for £95.00 thanks to Simply Dentures in Coseley. Can't stop smiling. Xx

Fantastic experience: I arrived at this practice as a highly anxious patient. I cannot praise them enough for how good they are with dental anxiety!! The receptionists are friendly and empathetic and all the dentists are talented. Since then I’ve had an extraction and root canals, all practically painless. Fantastic experience: Friendly and professional staff make going to the dentist feel as relaxing as it can be! I went private after not being able to find an NHS dentist which is something I didn’t really want to do. The costs are very reasonable and the service is exceptional. I had a check up, and a emergency filling replacement and I was able to feel comfortable enough to talk through how to improve the overall condition of my teeth. I was given a discounted consultation and quotes for different options and at no point did I feel pressured to part with my cash. I settled on teeth whitening and replacing fillings and was given a plan of action and a detailed quote for the treatment. No hidden costs or surprises. Fantastic experience: New patient at this dental practice. I had a fabulous experience, I was actually dreading it to be honest, as I don’t like dentists ha ha. But from the first phone call, I felt at ease very friendly, informative receptionist, then when I went to my appointment, it was AMAZING! All the staff were welcoming, very relaxed waiting room, and the dentist I seen, Dr Prakash Parekh was brilliant. Kash introduced himself to me, and put me at ease straight away, he took his time, listened to me then after an exam explained my options and gave me a treatment plan.
