From the moment I walked in, the reception staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly efficient. The surgery itself is spotless, modern, and feels very calm. My dentist was professional and took the time to explain every step of my treatment and answer all my questions. The hygienist was equally brilliant and gave me some great tips for improving my routine at home. The whole team clearly works well together, which makes the experience smooth and stress-free. I honestly couldn’t recommend enough.

Fantastic experience: I am so happy with the service I have had from Marford Road Dental Practice. I have had horribly crooked teeth for years, with overlaps and teeth out of line. I finally decided to do something for myself and started Invisalign. I was show how my teeth were predicted to move and guided through the process step by step. I had regular check ins where my progress was monitored and adjustments made if necessary. I am now having some finer adjustments to get it as close to perfect as possible. I have so much more room in my mouth now and a far better smile. I am really looking forward to seeing the finished result.

Fantastic experience: I am currently undergoing a dental implant procedure under the care of Dr Dipesh Kothari at the Marford Rd Dental Practice in Wheathampstead and felt I should share my most positive experience of both the procedure itself and the centre. I had been postponing the implant for some time, many years in fact, but never felt pressured to take action in any way by any of the dentists I had seen at the practice. Several months ago, during a routine check, I had a helpful conversation, which alerted me to the impact the gap in my teeth was beginning to have on my gum and bone as well as surrounding teeth and as a result requested a referral to the implantologist, Dr Dipesh Kothari. He made me feel at ease with his manner from the start and offered detailed explanation of the steps, options and associated risks. I never felt any doubt that I should proceed and was surprised by how unremarkable the actual implant procedure was. The local anaesthetic worked perfectly and I hardly felt anything different to dental work I had had previously, despite the very dense jaw bone I apparently have. I felt absolutely no pain as part of the healing process and only took paracetamol once or twice in the immediate aftermath. I was able to return to work immediately after the procedure. Stitches are out now and I am looking forward to my new tooth in a few weeks time. Thank you to Dr Kothari and the team at the Marford Rd Dental Practice.

Fantastic experience: Following a tooth implant I cannot praise enough, Dr Dipesh/Marford Road Dental surgery. Excellent & professional service from start to finish. I’ve had quite bad experiences at dentists before (but NOT Marford Road DS). However, injections and the tooth implant procedure was on the whole painless! Dr Dipesh’s explanation of the procedure, any potential side effects and during & after care was excellent throughout. Many thanks !

Fantastic experience: I am very pleased with my treatment from Dr Dipesh. Having implants is not a cheap nor quick option but is well worth it in the long run. It is far preferable to the alternatives being a bridge, dentures of an unslightly gap. I have been impressed by Dr Dipesh's care and committement. The fitting was not quite right at first and had to be sent back twice as he was determined to see that it was exactly right. This was a little frustrating at the time but of course worthwhile. Each time this happened I was very relieved that I was ten minutes away from the surgery and did not have to board a plane to Istanbul.

Lucie, the receptionist is always friendly, polite and helpful. Peter is an exceptional dentist, skilled at engaging children and putting them at complete ease - he is never hurried. He goes above and beyond especially with my child with severe autism and learning disabilities by taking the time to understand her unique needs and communicate with her at her level. The practice doesn't feel like a dentist, it feels homely and our usual treatment room is calming with the added LED virtual ceiling skylights, which avoids some of the strong stimuli and sensory overload and provides a soothing effect for my child. I would absolutely highly recommend Marford Road Dental Practice to anyone who wants a similar experience.
