Fantastic experience: I was referred through 111 at 9am , seen by 10:40am! Had a wisdom tooth removed which took about 5 minutes. Both women doing the procedure were amazing!!

Fantastic experience: Very happy with my first experience at Ivy today. I'm quite nervous attending the dentist but all of the staff were so kind and welcoming. I was seen by Malcolm and his dental nurse Paul, who were both very efficient and made me feel at ease straight away. Malcolm was brilliant at talking me through everything, making sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment. Kim on reception was also lovely and made setting up my next appointments so easy. Would definitely recommend Ivy, especially if you are a nervous patient like me!

Negative experience: My partner had an emergency dental appointment. She was rushed through the treatment, they said they couldn't see anything, cut her off while she explained the symptoms and repeatedly ignored her when saying which teeth had the issues. They simply said keep up the brushing and ring the emergency line again. The appointment may have been late in the day but that is no excuse for poor treatment of your patients.

Fantastic experience: I have just finished my White dental beauty teeth whitening course with Ivy Dental practice. The process is really easy to follow, Malc and his team were very knowledgeable and showed me exactly what to do and made me feel at ease with any concerns I had. I am definitely going to consider joining their membership scheme, I usually feel very anxious going to my dentist but here I looked forward to going! Thank you Malc and your amazing team, i'll look forward to coming back soon :)

Fantastic experience: Once upon a time I was a dental phobic. This was due to some traumatic experiences in the 1960s as many people of my era can identify with! Ever since attending the Ivy dental practice, I consider myself cured. There was a 2 year gap where I attended another dentist & I was so relieved to return to a dentist that I knew & trusted. Malc is extremely patient, has great professional skills, explains procedures & is very reassuring. His sense of humour is an added bonus . The dental nurses are great, very friendly as are the various staff on reception. I highly recommend the Ivy Dental Practice, especially to those who are of a nervous disposition!

Fantastic experience: My stepdad Andrew lost part of his tooth on Boxing Day and was 250 miles from home in Devon so I took him to Ivy Dental as an emergency patient and all of the team were just excellent. He was treated by Mahfuza and Debbie. Both were kind, caring, reassuring and Andrew’s treatment was painless. We annoy thank you enough. Without your help, Andrew would have had to be taken back to Devon. True professionals. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Came here on Boxing Day for an urgent appointment. Had pain all over Christmas and ended up being recommended a root canal. The dentist was able to do half the procedure here and then told me exactly what I needed to convey to my regular dentist. The staff were friendly, professional, kind and knowledgable. I was nervous for the root canal but they talked me through what would happen and it all went perfectly - I couldn’t feel a thing! I wish I’d got the dentist’s name as she was incredible! Thank you all so much for providing such fantastic urgent care and over the holidays!

Positive experience: This is my denture to replace the first one that the ivy Dental practice made. This was also slanted but my front teeth were at least in the correct position. This denture is not fit for purpose and I will be asking for a full refund come Monday morning and cancelling my monthly fee to be at this dentist.

Fantastic experience: Had my Invisalign and composite bonding done here. 6 months for my invlaslign which is very quick, considering how bad my teeth were. As soon as I finished my Invisalign. I had my composites done straight away. Big shoutout to Ubayda and the receptionist who is always helpful.

Fantastic experience: Malc and the team are absolutely fabulous. I can't recommend this dental practice enough. I have a number of health conditions that need to be taken into account when having dental treatment and I am 100% confident in Malc. He is so professional as well as very good at making you relax. All the treatment I've had has been undertaken without any problems. I even had a courtesy call from lovely Kerry after my last treatment to see how I was doing the next day. Amazing care. From the warm welcome on reception, through to Malc's professionalism and expertise and onto Bridget the dental hygienist who gives a thorough clean and loads of useful advice. The environment is clean and relaxing, information about practice staff and pricelists clearly displayed. A really great customer experience from start to finish.

Fantastic experience: I have recently gone back to IVY dental practice after the lockdown situation caused havoc to everything. It is now a Private Dental Practice only. I'm liking it. I pay a monthly membership fee which offers a few perks, 2 hygiene visits and slightly discounted treatments, or you can pay as you go but you get higher priced treatments. I've started seeing a new dentists called Dr Ubayda Alshanti. He's really good. I like his attitude, and he's transformed some of my teeth with composite bonding technique and I'm so happy with them now. Very impressed and very happy to choose him to be my new dentist from now on ! Highly recommended. It's always been a good dentists at Ivy. I'm Glad for me and my son to be back with them for our dental care.

I was looked after throughout, Malcolm explained every step of the way and put me at ease, to be able to go back for my second filling. Fantastic experience: I hadn’t been to a dentist for a few years so I researched a few dentists close to my home. I read the reviews for the Ivy Dental Practice and they are the reason I chose to come here. I must say the reviews really match up to expectations - the first impressions are lovely, very modern and not your typical ‘clinical’ appearance. The reception staff are lovely and very welcoming. I was seen and have been treated by Priya and I can honestly say that this was the best dental experience I’ve ever had. I’ve always had problems with fillings being quite sensitive for me - however I managed to have 3 done in one session plus an extraction - didn’t feel a thing and was so relaxed throughout the whole procedure. The service by herself and her assistants on both of my visits have been second to none. She has such a nice calming nature and is really friendly. I’m not so much a nervous patient but I can imagine she’d be perfect for those who have anxiety when visiting the dentist. I couldn’t recommend anywhere better that this place! Worth every penny!

Fantastic experience: I came to Ivy Dental after finding out I had been archived from my NHS Dentist. I was quite nervous - I'd been to the same dentist since I was 15, and as she was a family friend, I'd come to really trust her, particularly with my highly sensitive teeth. However, Dr Mahfuza and Amy made me feel right at home straight away. Dr Mahfuza is so skillful and was so careful around my more sensitive areas, and both of them are so warm and funny - I didn't think I'd be laughing and humming 'Backstreet's Back' while having a filling! I have signed up to the membership scheme and I'm so glad I chose here. Thank you to Dr Mahfuza, Amy and the Ivy Dental reception team for being so brilliant at making what can be so daunting for people feel so comfortable.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to this dentist through NHS urgent treatment and I did have to travel out abit which I didn’t care at the time as I was in pain and just wanted rid of my tooth lol. I’m so glad they sent me here, the staff were lovely! This is the type of experience you want when you go to the dentist, Ann and the lovely lady assisting (didn’t catch her name) was so gentle throughout the whole procedure from the anaesthetic injections to the tooth extraction I only felt abit of discomfort when the third injection was applied. Other than that I did not feel a thing and I was totally expecting it to hurt considering it was my upper back tooth on left. The receptionist was also lovely, Adele I think her name was. For anyone who is not familiar with the area, it is the first building before the texco petrol station. There is parking on the side street after the fuel station which was free on Sunday but Monday to Saturday pay 6am til 6pm.

Fantastic experience: Lovely and friendly staff. Went in tonight on an NHS referral and within 20 minutes the troublesome bleeder was out. After bad service elsewhere and getting fobbed off with antibiotics, knowing I need a tooth extraction, I am proper pleased with the service at The Ivy. 10/10

Fantastic experience: I haven’t been to the dentist for years due to anxiety. I finally went to the ivy after experiencing bad pain. There is a lot wrong with my teeth but I have to say my dentist was absolutely lovely and reassuring. She made my visit much less stressful and it left feeling better with a treatment plan in place. Fantastic experience: Sent to ivy dentist for emergency tonight. They rang me up and said I have an earlier slot come down now. I had a dentist called shaz she was lovely we all had a giggle and a chat in the process. Shaz diagnosed me with TMJ disorder And needed 2 temp fillings. The lady was so tired they hadn't had a break and worked falt out all over Christmas. I do wish them a lovely Break soon and they don't get recognition enough! So thank you very much shaz and team. Positive experience: I have been with this practice for many years now. The staff are always friendly and helpful and they never fail to make my daughter smile and enjoy her visit. Malcolm is my dentist and he is fantastic at making you feel welcome and known. Today I attended for a dental hygiene appointment. They were thorough and reassuring (I can’t say it was a pleasant experience but they made it tolerable!). My experience is that my appointment has often been cancelled and rearranged by the practice which can be inconvenient and as with all dental practices I think the pricing is extortionate. I would have preferred them to continue providing NHS work for patients who struggle to afford dental care. Aside from this moral issue, I would say that this is a very good dental practice and I won’t be leaving any time soon unless I find a dental practice still working with NHS contracts.

Fantastic experience: I had 2 appointments today, with my dentist and hygienist. Both are extremely friendly and professional as was the receptionist, what lovely ladies. Its a pleasure to go to a practice with such lovely people working there. I was even given some free samples.
