Fantastic experience: I just wana say thank you for the team of this clinic so professional and extremely great work. The doctor is so amazing very detailed in explaining and super assuring as well. I am visiting and they came highly recommended and I guess I know why now if I lived in London they would be the only dentist I go to so thank you sooo much.

Positive experience: Good service and nice clinic. I had a good experience earlier this year for regular checkup and hygiene appointments. I’d like to give them a five star review for that. Unfortunately, once you’re on their system, they will email you, WhatsApp message you and call you to remind you to book for another checkup. I find it too pushy and annoying. I appreciate a reminder by email but the phone call and WhatsApp messages are unnecessary. When telling them I’m about to travel so will book when I have time, they asked when I will be back from my travel. This is getting too annoying and off putting. I don’t think I have signed up for the reminder service or given permission for them to contact me via WhatsApp. This may consider the breach of GDPR. I hope they sort this out and not to push their patients to book for appointments like that. It would be a shame to leave them and to look for another dental clinic because of this poor customer service.

Fantastic experience: I’m so happy I found this practice! I knew from my last check up at my previous dentist that one of my fillings needed replacing, but wasn’t happy with the way they dealt with me, so decided to go elsewhere. At my first appointment with Sahil, he was friendly and incredibly thorough and talked me through everything he found, as well as showing me the images of my teeth and where the issues with the filling were. He also spotted a crack in another tooth (which the previous dentist had missed but which needed investigation) and diagnosed signs of gum disease. I came away from that first appointment feeling slightly anxious about having the work done but also confident that I was in very good hands. I have very sensitive teeth and was dreading seeing the hygienist but Ashmita was fabulous, used anaesthetic gel to numb my gums and checked in with me continually to make sure I had no discomfort. I then saw Sahil yesterday for the filling and tooth investigation (which turned out to need another filling removed and an onlay fitted) and he was brilliant. Really clear about what he was going to be doing and why, and checking in regularly to make sure I was comfortable. I honestly can’t praise this practice enough, the reception staff are all lovely and super-helpful as well. I don’t normally leave long reviews but I’m so relieved to have found a dentist I feel I can really trust!

His auntie and mum are often around too who just make the environment even more pleasent - it really doesn't feel like a chore to go to the dentist :)

Fantastic experience: I had Invisalign treatment with Dr. Sahil for a year and a half, and I’m extremely happy with the results. My teeth had some complex issues, such as curved roots and supernumerary teeth, but Dr. Sahil always explained the best options clearly and from the patient’s perspective. When I signed up for Invisalign, there was a promotion that included free home whitening at the end of the treatment, and I was pleased that he remembered to provide that as promised. He is trustworthy and professional dentist, and I highly recommend him!

He made me feel very well looked after with his knowledge and calming prescene, when I was experiencing some problems post wisdom tooth extraction, which were quite bothersome and gave me a lot of anxiety. I'm most grateful to him for his reassurance and excellent professionalism. Mansi was a very helpful, attentive, kind, and thoughtful front of house who made me feel very welcomed, supported, and comfortable from the start. She has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a wonderful disposition and made me feel totally at ease when I was having concerns. An all round amazing practise that ticks all the boxes.

Negative experience: I am very reluctant to leave disparaging reviews of any business, however, I feel I have no choice after my encounter with the manager Dipti today. I booked an appointment for my 2.5 yo daughter in May and paid in full in advance. Unfortunately due to a sickness bug and high temperatures of > 40 degrees, we were unable to attend that appointment. Today, I attended for a dental check for my younger daughter who is 1 year old which was also paid in full. Understandably, as there sometimes is, there was a 15 minute wait to be seen. The dentist Daniel was obliging and thorough as usual and once he had examined my youngest daughter and provided advice, he kindly took a minute to look in my eldest 2.5 year old daughter’s mouth upon my request. The entire consultation lasted 10 minutes of the 15 minute slot. At the desk, Daniel asked Dipti to book our daughters for the same follow up in 6 months time with no charge mentioned. Once Daniel had left, Dipti informed me that I would have to pay in full for the check up that Lily had received today, which had not been mentioned by Daniel. When I refused to do so, having already paid in full a few weeks ago but missing it on the day due to severe illness, Dipti then insisted I was required to pay a 50% missed appointment charge for my eldest daughters appointment in May. When I explained that she was sick and these were unforeseen circumstances, Dipti continued to talk over me and process the charge demanding payment, showing zero empathy, compassion or customer service aptitude. I expressed my disappointment (given that our daughters and another baby on the way) are at the start of a long dental health careers and I am already a longstanding customer, and explained this would deter us from using Dickens Yard Dental again with such inflexible charge of 150% for a missed appointment, when children frequently and unexpectedly fall ill. I then checked the T&Cs of the email booking which clearly states “Regrettably, due to the increasing number of missed appointments, there will be a charge equivalent to 50% of your appointment fee should you fail to attend or cancel without the correct notice above. Subsequent missed appointments will be charged at 100% of the appointment fee.” It seems by their T&Cs, I should have been charged 50% for the missed appt, not the 150% incurred, however I appreciate Daniel’s good will today in that he quickly looking in my daughters mouth. I both emailed (no response) and called Dipti to clarify this in the afternoon, offering a chance for her and the clinic to easily rectify this 150% charge by refunding the additional missed appt charge and avoiding the need to post this review. Unfortunately Dipti then started to blame Daniel for the extra 50% charge that she demanded today. When I expressed confusion as Daniel had not mentioned this and frustration with her attitude and customer service, Dipti proceeded to hang up on me stating “you are far too annoyed for me to speak to you”. Being hung up on by a service that I pay / overpaid for is a new low. I hope to receive a refund, however, sadly I will not be using Dickens Yard Dental again for any of my family. Daniel and Colin have been fantastic but the management is sorely lacking in the customer service skills required to create a thriving business. I have been recommended Windsor Road, and Northfields Dental Beauty by word of mouth as fantastic alternatives that are the whole package.

Fantastic experience: As one of three Ealing Childminders who recently took our little ones on a tour of Dickens Yard Dental I am thoroughly impressed by the experience. I had mentioned the possibility of bringing the kids in for a tour during a recent appointment with Sahil, and the team pulled out all the stops to make it happen. The kids had a great time learning about dental care in a fun way. The team were gentle and kind, especially with one of our more reluctant children. From practicing brushing on model teeth to playing a game guessing which foods are good or bad for our teeth the experience was interactive and fun. But what really got them excited was trying out the three-way spray device on their hands-everyone put their hands out for that, even our reluctant one couldn't resist! The goodie bags with toothpaste, brushes and a fun timer were the perfect takeaway. The kids are now excited to brush their teeth at home using their new timers. A huge thanks to the team for a fantastic experience. It's clear they are dedicated to making dental care a positive experience for kids.

Negative experience: Extremely rude receptionist. Accused me of lying about my appointment time. The dentist is really nice, just a shame that the reception staff can be so rude to you. She literally told me that she would go through the past conversations to prove I got my appointment time wrong, and made me aware that my conversations would of previously been recorded so she would know if I am lying about not knowing my appointment time. And she also asked me why I didn’t read my mail as it was sent over the weekend. I have a full time job and university, I thought that this place would be professional, and would also be kind instead of being flat out rude. I thought I’d try this place out as the dentist was recommended, it’s just a bit of a shame how unpleasant the conversations have been today. On top of that I haven’t even had a phone call to reschedule, she literally just hang up and told me that my deposit will be taken. It’s a shame and would expect a bit more professionalism. I’m sure they will comment on this something about policy, but I genuinely don’t care because it’s about how I was spoken to!

Fantastic experience: The best dental practice I’ve ever been to - a friendly, professional and patient team, with lovely clean facilities. I’ve had two wisdom teeth removed with them and the healing process has been quick and uncomplicated.

Dr. Thakkar took his time to explain the procedure and discuss preventative advice with me to help reduce the chance of future fillings. He and his assistant made sure I was comfortable throughout. The TV on the ceiling to watch Netflix is a relaxing touch. They also accept BUPA insurance which is great!!

Despite it being a busy month, she patiently gave me all the available slots and helped me find the most convenient time. Although my teeth are healthy, he pointed out subtle brushing habits he noticed during the check-up and highlighted potential risks to my gums that other dentists had overlooked. Both the hygienist and dentist recommended the most affordable and effective tools for me to use at home—without trying to sell their own products. Coming from a country with a high-quality dental system, I didn’t think I’d find the same standard of care in the UK. However, this experience exceeded my expectations, and I’m thrilled to have found such an exceptional clinic!

The membership plan is a good price and they were also very helpful when I needed itemised receipts for my private dental insurance claims.

A thoroughly modern practice with a patient first approach, I can't rate the team at Dickens Yard Dental highly enough. As someone with a dental phobia, i hadn't visited a dentist in quite a while. A fractured tooth forced me to seek treatment and i'm so glad I found them. An immediately warm, friendly and caring environment from the moment i walked in and greeted like an old friend by practice manager Dipti, put me at ease straight away. And my dentist, Daniel, has just been brilliant, very calm and attentive, clearly explaining all the options and their pros and cons then constantly making sure I was comfortable, relaxed and fully informed during the treatment plan, part of which required a root canal with Dickens Yard’s root canal specialist, Priya, who Is just as fantastic!

He explained everything clearly, which helped calm my nerves. The procedure was handled with great care, and I experienced minimal discomfort. Highly recommend Dr. Daniel for dental work!

Fantastic experience: Over the last year, I’ve been to Dickens Yard Dental for 2 check-ups, 2 dental cleans and for a repair a faulty filling from another dentist elsewhere and every single instance was a great experience. Going to the dentists office had always brought me quite a bit of anxiety, but the dickens yard team were amazing and helped ease my mind of any previous worries I had.

Fantastic experience: Good facilities and friendly staff. Dentist visit is usually a miserable anxious visit - not dickens yard. Daniel did a X-ray and confirmed my suspicions that I had wonky teeth - he allayed my fears however by suggesting that we all special in some way. Vanesa is a smart well presented face of the practice with a calm and professional demeanour. She will be a great dentist I think.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic treatment from the team at dickens yard. I booked in for an emergency appointment due to toothache and was seen to only a few hours after calling up. Really reasonably priced and absolutely great staff.

You always feel like you are receiving a very personalised experience - Daniel is always so thorough and informative, and Tabitha was great at making me feel at ease for my hygienist appointment. Reception staff are always helpful and proactive (especially Vanessa). A happy and regular customer.

Fantastic experience: I have had such a great experience at Dickens yard dental practice, the whole team are absolutely amazing. I had an implant with Dr Daniel and I could not recommend him enough, he was extremely knowledgable and explained everything thoroughly during my consultation which put me completely at ease. He was so patient and answered any questions I had, he also provided an in depth treatment plan in writing for my own reference. The whole process was pain free and I felt completely confident in his ability. You would never believe I have an implant, his work is so good that it just blends in naturally with the rest of my teeth. You can tell he really takes pride in his work and cares about patient satisfaction. Would highly recommend this practice, particularly Dr Daniel to anyone needing dental treatment, specifically implants.

Fantastic experience: I had a really great experience with Vim - he was very gentle and reassuring and he explained everything to me. Ikenna and Sebastian on the desk were both very friendly and helpful with bookings and helped to make sure I was booked for my next check up so I don’t need to worry about our forgetting! The reception area is beautiful and the flowers are very calming. Five stars from the beginning to the end ❤️

Fantastic experience: This is a great practice! The staff are highly skilled and very understanding. During my first check up with Dr Sahil, he provided clear and sincere advice. Throughout the appointment he was very understanding and friendly. Recently, I had my upper wisdom teeth removed and Dr Daniel explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions, which eased my anxiety about the procedure. He made the overall experience painless. Everyone from the reception staff, hygienists and dentists are all kind and genuinely care about providing the highest quality of care to their patients. I highly recommend!!!
