Fantastic experience: Jessica is a great, professional, friendly dentist. Always smiling and happy. All my family go to her, wouldnt go anywhere else. When you got the best, why go anywhere else.

Negative experience: Refuses to do any work on the nhs as 'the NHS doesn't give enough time' for dental work beyond the simple and easy. Then dentist will offer to do the work privately in their own practise and refuse to do it on the NHS. This dental clinic not been reviewed by the CQC since 2013.

Fantastic experience: I honestly can’t recommend Aliz enough. She’s by far the best hygienist I’ve ever had. She’s incredibly thorough but also so gentle — honestly, the softest hands ever! What really makes the difference is how much time and care she gives. You never feel rushed, and she makes sure you’re comfortable the whole way through. She’s attentive, reassuring, and you can tell she genuinely cares about her patients. The whole experience is actually enjoyable (something I never thought I’d say about a hygiene appointment!). Aliz is simply brilliant.

However the dentist explained everything that would need to be done and I knew immediately that I was in the perfect hands. Also the receptionist and dental assistant where lovely people which definitely is a bonus. Glad I found this place.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Charlton Dental Practice. The dentist and the nurse were very friendly and put me at ease. The dentist explained what treatment I would have on my next visit. Very satisfied.

The practice as a whole will go out of their way to meet your needs. I highly recommend them. I have been a patient for many years.

Negative experience: ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE TODAY. I'VE BEEN REGISTERED HERE OVER 15 YEARS AND TODAY I CANCEL MY FAMILIES REGISTRATION. HAVING BOOKED MY APPOINTMENT F2F AND NOT BEING TOLD THAT I SHOULD NOT COME EARLY I ARRIVED HALF HR EARLY AS BUS ARRIVED AND DROVE QUICKER THAN EXPECTED. AS I APPROACH THE DOOR I BUZZ AND ENTER, ONLY TO BE TOLD I CANNOT COME IN. EXCUSE ME? I TELL THIS LADY (WITH BRUNETTE PONYTAIL AND GLASSES, WHO IS NOT THE USUAL RECEPTIONIST BTW) THAT I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT SOON AND THOUGH IAM 20MINS EARLY IS IT POSSIBLE TO WAIT IN THE EMPTY WAITING AREA (WHILST THEY HAVE LUNCH) UNTIL MY APPOINTMENT AS IT IS 5 DEGREES OUTDIDE WITH A EIND CHILL OF 1 DEGREE. I DID NOT DRIVE AND HAVE NO SHELTER. SHE LOOKED AT ME DEAD IN THE FACE AND SAID "NO SORRY, NOT MY PROBLEM" AND PROCEEDED TO SHUT THE DOOR IN MY FACE. DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR, ATROCIOUS SERVICE. Fantastic experience: I just had my first appointment at this practice and I had a very pleasant experience throughout, from getting an appointment booked very quickly to the team (the dentist and her assistant) being very friendly, clearly explaining my treatment plan, and even being able to give me a small filling on the spot - all whilst being warm, personable and patient. Overall, I was very happy with my visit; it's probably the best experience I've had with a dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Really excellent service. I needed a lot of work carried out as hadn't been there since lockdown. The dentist was very precise saying how they would go about what was required and at each stage updated me on how it was going and what would be happening next.

Negative experience: Very rarely had good experience. Multiple issues : 1. Cheap quality materials for filling 2. Always referring to private dentistry without trying by self. Happened twice 3. Made to wait 15-20 mins on avg, fine sometimes but once made to go back when I was only 9 minutes late.

Positive experience: I have mixed feelings about my experience at this dental clinic. My dentist is incredibly nice and lovely, and I genuinely appreciate her demeanor. However, I can't shake the feeling that, as an NHS patient, I'm receiving lower quality treatment and being looked down upon. It's possible that I'm overthinking it, but certain experiences have made me feel this way. For instance, I had an appointment scheduled for Friday, which I had confirmed twice over the phone after they called me. Despite this, when I arrived at the clinic, the receptionist informed me that my appointment had been cancelled. I showed her my confirmation, but she simply said that perhaps her colleague had cancelled it and rescheduled me for the following week. This was especially frustrating because my appointment was urgent, my filling was falling out and needed immediate attention. This whole situation left me feeling like they prioritise other patients over me, likely because I'm an NHS patient. It felt as though my needs were being dismissed in favor of those who might be paying more. This made me feel very uncomfortable and unfairly treated, adding to my sense that there is a disparity in the way NHS patients are treated compared to others. Overall, while I appreciate my dentist's kindness, the experience has left me feeling undervalued and neglected as a patient. It would be greatly appreciated if all patients, regardless of their NHS status, were treated with the same level of respect and urgency.

Fantastic experience: Dr Wafaa is incredible. She works with such a sense of ease. She genuinely cares about you and your teeth. She aims for the best possible outcome and always goes above and beyond to try and make that outcome a reality. A truly amazing and gifted dentist!

Wafa my dentist is a friendly, kind and professional dentist who always makes sure to explain what we would be doing and what is wrong. She even gives me a choice to do it or not ontop her professional advice. She always makes sure to keep things pain free and does a fantastic job which makes me feel seen and cared for.

Fantastic experience: I love how friendly and kind my dentist was, I had root canal done last year and she still remembers and asks me how it’s doing and if it’s all good. Coming here has taken away my fear of the dentist. I’m always leaving happy and with more knowledge then when I came in. She gives great advice and is always gentle with me. Every other practice i have been to in the past had been very rough with my teeth, left me in pain afterwards and quite judgmental and i left feeling upset and unwelcomed. THIS practice on the other hand i have only had great experiences and i love going there now, very greatful to have found this place. 10/10 would recommend this practice.

Negative experience: I have been trying to re book an appointment for the last few days. However the receptionist does not want to pick up the phone. I have been on hold for OVER 30 minutes each day stating I was 2nd in the queue. I had to terminate the call due to my break at work finishing. I don't understand how this is not being looked at. This seems to be a recurrent problem when people try to book an appointment. Really disappointing service. Please someone needs to sort this out.

Negative experience: I called today 18/04/2024 around 9:00 i waited about 40 min for the receptionist to pick up the phone, when she did pick up the phone i explained to her that i want to book my wife for a appointment, she said that my wife has to book the appointment her self, i explained that she can’t talk because of the pain. She kept saying that my wife has to book the appointment, i passed the phone to my wife and because of my wife’s pain she was not able to understand what the receptionist was asking her. Then the receptionist hanged up the phone without notice and now i am on the line again for the past 20 min.

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend highly enough. The children and I are always made to feel welcome and completely at ease with such friendly staff. Every procedure is explained, as well as the reasons and benefits of doing so. The dentist is never dreaded in our household….in fact our dentist even helped us out on a homework assignment! 5*

Negative experience: I was on hold for two hours to try and make an appointment and never go through as they closed for the evening. How is that even possible? It is appalling customer service.

Negative experience: Phone lines are terrible can never get through had to visit surgery to make appointment, today waiting 43 minutes on the line being told I'm no 1 in the queue, with same music on a loop in the end I hung up!!! UPDATE!! I've been in there and they have no reception staff so you can sit on the phone in a queue all day but it won't be answered as they have no way of turning them off shocking!!
