Fantastic experience: I went to Smile Dentist to see Shiraz for teeth whitening and to have a few fillings replaced. Honestly, such a great experience! Everything was super comfortable from start to finish, and Shiraz made the whole process really easy. My teeth look amazing now, and I felt completely at ease the whole time. Definitely recommend!

Positive experience: Great service over the phone, I called up for an emergency appointment and they got me in same day, very easy to deal with. And the dentist was very straight forward and she explained everything including pricing before doing the work. Only downfall is it’s very expensive for any treatment. Not sure if they have any payment plans or not but this wasn’t offered so assuming they don’t offer that service which is a shame as for someone who couldn’t afford what I went in for I don’t know what they would do because of it being an emergency also the work needed to be done.

Fantastic experience: When my top front teeth had finally decided to come loose and break, it was time to either have a plate or an implant. I didn’t want a plate so had a long discussion with Senthil regarding an implant. He put me at ease regarding an implant so went ahead and had it done. The actual implant was pain free (which surprised me) Senthil talked me through each appointment so I knew what to expect. I now have a good strong front implant bridge which is so nice being able to bit an apple again. Louise the nurse was very Careing and and kind. Together they make a great team. Thanks so much to the whole dental team.

Fantastic experience: I have recently completed a course of treatment to have a dental implant fitted. From start to finish I have been impressed with the care I received. The work involved visits over many months to allow for the implant to heal correctly which also gives you a chance to pay as you go. It was also nice that the final bill for the work was less than the original estimate as two areas of work were not deemed necessary once the treatment was underway. Thank you Smile.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a wobbly tooth for over a year that would not budge! Her adult tooth had erupted slightly behind. Last Wednesday evening, while wobbling the tooth she managed to turn it 180 and it got stuck. This cause a lot of discomfort and upset about the way it looked and felt. I booked an emergency appointment at Smile on Woodbridge Road and she saw Dr Senthil. My daughter had never met him before and was extremely apprehensive following an earlier appointment the same day at her regular dentist that had not gone to plan. Dr Senthil was brilliant. He was welcoming, kind and took interest in my daughter before then explaining what he was going to do. He made her laugh and put her at ease (and me too after a very dramatic day!). Dr Senthil removed the tooth and neither my daughter nor I even knew! He was quick, gentle and we could not have been more grateful. I must also thank the reception team who managed to move appointments to fit my daughter in, knowing what we had been through and probably the tears in her little red eyes. It looked like quite the logistical task but they were brilliant. Again so kind and compassionate. The tooth fairy used a line from one of your posters in the waiting room - “Your smile never goes out of style!” How true. Thank you for helping my daughter smile again!

Still very happy with the quality of dentistry! * I have been a patient at Smile Suffolk for over 5 years. To be honest, I had a history of rejecting my previous dentist's advice - not a good idea in the long-term! Dr Senthil takes a very pragmatic approach to my treatment; he suggests but never insists. Over the years I have come to appreciate his depth of knowledge and now am very happy to accept the treatment plans he offers. I have had various work done, including crowns, and a short while ago had a wisdom tooth removed (a painless experience, truly!). Dr Senthil always discusses and explains any treatment, listening to and noting my concerns. He has a calm and caring manner - and a good sense of humour, which I appreciate. The surgery in Ipswich is state-of-the-art, with excellent hygiene practices (even more important at the present time). Dr Senthil's team is always welcoming, caring and approachable. I must make special mention of Louise, who has been a constant presence during any treatment. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Dr Senthil, his staff and his practice. I am 100% satisfied!

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment with Dr. Senthil regarding an implant that had loosened (I should mention that the implant was done in Europe 11 years ago). Dr. Senthil explained all the options that are possible to me in a professional and very friendly way at the same time. My brother is a very anxious person and after his initial consultation as a new patient, he was advised that a wisdom tooth needed to be removed. This was duly completed with no issues at all. As I accompanied my brother on both visits, we would like to say how pleased and reassured we were by all aspects of Julian's care and treatment. All staff were kind, respectful and efficient and made time for any questions or explanations Julian may have had or needed. We have no hesitation in highly recommending this Dental Practice!

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Smiles highly enough! From the moment I arrived at reception I was greeted with a smile & a friendly hello, how can I help! The surroundings & decor are very welcoming & made me feel relaxed and not at all as though I was at the dentist! The waiting room is like someone's living room! Where you fill out your medical history & then a lovely dental nurse comes to take you through to see the dentist & for someone who is a very nervous patient made me feel totally at ease & reassured me with confidence that he could definitely solve my problem! He explained every aspect of what my procedure would be and if I was happy he could do it there & then - no more waiting or pain - he went through all the pricing & explained what every charge was for! I can honestly say I felt in very safe hands & while the injection was taking effect the dental nurse chattered taking my mind off things which I was very grateful for - then once procedure was over (Which I can honestly say I felt nothing) the aftercare was explained & was told if I had any concerns not to hesitate to contact them - I think the dentist & dental nurse were taken by surprise as I asked if I could give them a hug! - they will never know how grateful I was for their professionalism & care. If you are a very nervous patient I would highly recommend Smiles especially Dr Senthil BDS, MPH, Cosmetic & Dental Implant Dentist & his lovely Dental Nurse Louise!

Fantastic experience: This practice has now become private patients only. I had been an NHS patient with them before they went private so my choice is pay a lot more as a private patient or go find find a dental practice that would accept me as a new NHS patient. I called about 30 practices within the Essex and Suffolk areas and the reply was always the same… sorry but no. So it’s going to cost a lot more than NHS rates. My first visit for an initial checkup cost £80 including 2 X-rays. The attention and advice from Krishna was first class. To continue with them I was advised to pay a monthly plan fee of circa £24 providing 2 checkups and two hygiene visits annually. Any work such as fillings or crowns etc are about two to three times NHS rates. Iam sure their treatment will be first class. But can I afford dental treatment now? I’m not sure.

Yesterday was the first time I had to ask for an emergency appointment - an old filling had fallen out and they made room for me that very afternoon to get it refilled. Fantastic experience: Every member of the "Smile" team (Woodbridge Road, Ipswich) that I have met in the past 2 years has been very friendly and welcoming. Dr Senthil has been wonderful throughout my treatment of having full dental implants, explaining exactly what he was doing each step of the way and putting me at ease as did Louise his dental nurse/dental implant coordinator. We also had a few laughs along the way, most unusual when visiting the dentist!

Fantastic experience: I was initially very apprehensive about having a dental implant and did not know what was involved until I was referred to Smile Suffolk Clinic. It is down to Dr Senthil's expertise and excellent care from him and his team that I now have a shiny new implant which fits perfectly and matches my other teeth well. Fantastic experience: Four days ago I lost a crown from a tooth. I did manage to retrieve it, so sent an email from Spain to the Smile surgery where I normally attend for dental treatment, asking to be booked for an appointment as soon as I returned. I received a prompt reply offering an appointment the morning after my return. This has now been replaced and I had more than 5 star treatment from this surgery. I have been a patient at this 1, Woodbridge Road, Ipswich surgery, for a number of years and have only received excellent, top quality dental treatment. I can certainly recommend the service I have received from the Dental staff and the receptionists. I have recommended others who have become patients also

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank Senthil for all his care over the past 10 months, it was a difficult journey as he was correcting another dentist’s error. I was a very nervous patient (because of this experience), he listened was patient and had a successful end result. Fantastic experience: I've been with this practice for many years now and it has a family atmosphere and feeling. The booking and reminder system works well and is very efficient. I've had a range of treatments over the years spanning everything from standard dental appointments and hygienists. I also have several crowns and an implant all dome by them. The crowns are nearly 15 years old and the implant 10 years old. Testimony to the quality. Nice friendly place and they do a good job.

Fantastic experience: Following a fractured tooth playing football I’ve had a complex course of treatment to repair the damage caused over nearly 2 years. Chief Consultant Senthil and the various Assistants have been excellent during this time. They’ve always been very friendly during my regular visits. Senthil has always taken the time to answer any questions I have and discuss with me the various options available. The finished result looks great and I have recommended the practice to others.

Negative experience: I dont want to give them any star. total rip off. They charged me full charge after short cancellation, though they did not inform me when I phoned them and the hygienist did not explain that I would get the full service next. it seems like that they will charge you though they check only my teeth without any service done. Also, anyway when I tried to pay over the phone, the card payment was not working as they could not hear me properly then they asked me to come to their practice to pay. it is non-sense! they are going to pay me for my time to come to theirs? any short notice was my fault, so today, I paid it over the phone, again they typed in my card number wrong but the operator said it is invalid card. they treated me like a fraud. it turned out they again typed my card number wrong. very arrogant

His explanation about the procedure was really good & gave me the confidence. I underwent a difficult wisdom tooth extraction. He took care of all the proceedings & post procedure follow up was excellent. The whole process was very good. The clinic atmosphere was very cosy. It wasn’t a straight forward process for several reasons but the team explained every step and were professional throughout. Had some anxiety about it all and although the initial 3 hr op wasn’t pleasant it was so worth it in the end. Over the moon with both the service and results thank you!!

Fantastic experience: My dentist couldn't repair or replace my old crown,which was a front tooth,as the gum had receded and there was some bone loss. I needed an implant which he couldn't do. So I searched the internet,and after reading all the good reviews,I contacted Smile clinic on Woodbridge Road, Ipswich. Soon after I met Senthil ; he, along with Louise,advised me he could indeed do my implant.It was a 16 month journey to rebuild my bone and gum and get everything right and ready for my implant. Luckily,I had Senthil and Louise with me every step of the way.They have been fantastic in their kindness and support and also in their knowledge, expertise, and skill. Negative experience: Poor dental service and poor choice of words. I’ll be finding another hygienist and not recommending this place to friends after all. Me: I’ll be 5 mins late because I’m lost! So sorry. Is it still worth coming? Them: No problem at all! See you soon Me: Great. Entering appointment the hygienist chats away, then mentions she can only use the remaining time in the time slot which is now apparently 15 mins (I had to wait when I arrived for a few minutes). She looked at the clock repeatedly and I was sitting up again 14 min later. She asks the same questions several times, not really listening, despite me answering that there hasn’t been any changes. Seems taken aback when I gentle imply we better get on with the appointment with my body language. Her: Well… I guess we better start then! Me after appointment: so what have we managed to get done today? Please bear in mind my teeth are relatively fine, not perfect but I look after them pretty well. No major issues. It was a run of the mill hygienist appointment. I notice she concentrated on one tooth for about half the precious time. It was weird. Them: ‘Not much’. But also ‘come back asap for the other half of the appointment to finish the job’. At the desk - I totally understand paying full price for today’s appointment. But come back for another appointment asap to do the other half of ‘not much?’ And pay full price for that too. The nice receptionist seemed to completely understand the situation. Perhaps if the dentist just needs some training in communication? At this point Smile Suffolk Dentist on Woodbridge Road is so used to spinning money they are immune to their own lack of customer service and dental care. Also if ‘not much’ was done in 15 mins, another 15 mins doesn’t seem right either. The hygienist must either work slowly and should say that, or they should offer 15 min appointments to finish off jobs. And definitely not make the customer feel so terribly short changed. £80 of not much.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Debenham Dental Practice since Senthil took over the practice a number of years ago and have always been very impressed with the level of care, advice and treatment I have received. The receptionists and dental assistants are friendly and attentive, and Senthil is always willing to spend time answering my questions and fully explaining my treatment options.
