Park Dental Care - Shiregreen Dentist

Fantastic experience: I have been using park dental care since I was roughly 18 years old, I am now 54 so as you can guess I only have hi praise for the staff there, they are always friendly and polite whilst being very professional at the same time, I visit regularly to see the hygienist and also for checkups with the dentist. During the 36 years I have had two instances where I needed an emergency appointment and was always seen the same or next day.

Fantastic experience: Amy is absolutely fantastic she's lovely and friendly but also very professional. She makes coming to the dentist very easy for me as im very nervous.

Fantastic experience: Very professional experience today with both the hygienist and the dentist (Lewis) I wasn’t pushed into having extra treatment done, it was explained to me re X-rays and other treatment I could have but left to my own discretion. In the past I have seen dentists who seem to want you to have treatment to make money for their own bank accounts and as a pensioner this is very difficult

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a Patient of Park Dental for about 5-6 years. My oral health has improved exponentially since I’ve been cared for, advised & attended regularly check ups. In that time I’ve had 4 fillings & a Root Canal procedure. All my work is of the highest quality. I have a regular dentist, Luke & the fantastic dental assistants (Rose). He is an incredible orthodontist, so gentle & careful I have never felt pain or discomfort while being worked on by the consummate professionals that are park Dental. I couldn’t be more grateful & would recommend their services without hesitation.

Made me feel so comfortable and at ease, especially as I am dealing with a lot of anxiety during my appointments. So happy. Would highly recommend.

Negative experience: Terrible service — they tried to remove my wife from the books for being 5 minutes late after previously cancelling on her themselves, then kept her waiting 40 minutes. We used to have Luke who was great, but after this we’d rather pull our own teeth.

Fantastic experience: Always excellent Luke is an excellent Dentist and all the staff are great. I went to see Luke because I was a little worried about the quite heavy bleeding from my gums. Luke checked them out and reassured me that there was nothing serious causing it and referred me to the hygienist for a thorough deep clean and advice on gum health. PDC do actually care about their patients, I have been with them for years and have never had any issues with either the staff or the quality of the care or treatment.

Fantastic experience: Zahra is great, very friendly and informative. I have seen two hygienists before coming here and Zahra is the best. I won’t see anyone else to get my teeth cleaned now.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to the dentist for the past few years and the one thing l love besides the service is the smiles from the friendly staff that welcomes you and makes you feel at ease. They are friendly, helpful and understanding staff. I love the new service they have where you meet one of their staff and they teach you about what’s safe to eat and what you can do to change unhealthy habits so you can have good oral hygiene and habits. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

All the staff are friendly and professional, everything is explained in a way that's easy to understand and there are several options based on what is needed and the price of treatment. Fantastic experience: I absolutely cannot recommend Park Dental Care enough Dentist Tariq Choudry and Dental Nurse Gayle Briggs put me at ease immediately, made me feel in safe hands. I had lost a front filling and Tariq gave me my smile back for a wedding I am attending in a few days and I am so very grateful. He did a stellar job made sure I was 100% happy before I left the surgery. His work is absolutely top notch. I was so nervous and he made me truly believe that everything would be perfect and it was!. They were both so kind and attentive with me. Such excellent service is rare, thank you!

Fantastic experience: Before meeting Sama, at Park Dental Care as my new Dentist, I had an inbuilt fear of going to the Dentist even when in severe pain. My fear overtook vanity until I lost both my 2 front caps in a matter of weeks. Being in full time work and dealing with customers on a daily basis, is not a good look, without your front teeth. Mortified at the prospect of life without teeth I plucked up the courage to see Sama. Why I was worried, I really have no idea. Sama pulled out all the stops, not only to make me feel at ease with the treatment, but also to enable me to gain my confidence and go back out and see people publicly after making me a temporary brace with 2 front teeth. After my initial dentist from Park Dental Care, Helen, retired, I was extremely nervous about having a different Dentist. Sama knows I am scared and takes this into consideration whether it is just a check up or whether it is some major work she is carrying out; constantly checking on me throughout the treatment, has a little laugh and a joke with me to try and put me at ease, and even hands out the odd hug when she knows I'm worked up. I can honestly say Sama deserves the ABCD award (Above & Beyond the Call of Duty) when it is anything to do with me. Not only as she now restored my confidence when going to the dentist, she has restored, IN FULL, my smile. They were calm, friendly, and took their time without making me feel awkward or rushed. The dentist was really reassuring and explained everything clearly, which helped a lot. Even when things got a bit technical, they made sure I was okay and understood what was going on. I left feeling relaxed and well looked after — definitely recommend.

Negative experience: Some terrible dentists work there. Tried to throw my wife off the books because she was 5 minutes late and apparently cancelled her last appointment, when it was the dentist who cancelled due to the weather. Kept her waiting 40 minutes past her appointment time then told her if she cancels the next time she will have to pay private. Sorry but my partner attends every six months. We had Luke who was great before this. I’d rather pull my own teeth thank you.

With only a handful of days before going on holiday I phoned to see if there was any chance there was an appointment available. Fortune was probably on my side as I was told if I could get to the practice in the next half hour there was an appointment available. A fairly complicated filling was successfully completed by Tariq and his team. Many thanks to all involved. No toothache now, so on with the packing!

Fantastic experience: First class service I attended the practice following a referral for a difficult extraction so was feeling quite anxious. I needn’t have worried- Abdullah and his Nurse Jess were just fantastic! I was welcomed by the friendly reception staff who chatted with me and put me immediately at ease. Once in surgery the procedure was explained in detail and I was invited to ask questions. Though difficult, the treatment was carried out efficiently and painlessly with regular reassurance from both Abdullah and Jess. I was then given thorough home care advice and again invited to ask questions. The excellent care didn’t stop there.. the next day I received a courtesy phone call asking if I was ok. The level of care and attention to detail is second to none. Well done Park Dental, you are all providing an amazing service!

Fantastic experience: I needed an appointment a crumbling tooth I was offered a morning appointment which clashed with a drs appointment but the receptionist said she would have a talk to the dentist and ring me back she rang back with an appointment I was seen quickly and treated efficiently and was asked to contact them immediately the dentist had referred me to the dental hospital 18 weeks ago I had rang them and they said I would have to wait another 12weeks when o explained about my tooth they put me in a month time The dentist was contacting the dental hospital It was an exceptional service

Negative experience: I used to visit an amazing dentist at this practice who checked my teeth did a scale and polish every time and my teeth were great. Now he has retired and the new dentist doesn't even check my teeth properly, yet alone scale and polish.

Fantastic experience: A truly professional and friendly team, delivered a great service today. Mr Khadbai has done really marvellous work for my wife and I. This week Mr Khadbai carried out an extraction for me which was performed with great skill causing me very little discomfort. Also he took an impression for my new denture which I picked up two days later. I am very pleased with the result it looks great and is very comfortable.
