Dale House Dental Practice is a family friendly dental practice based in Tamworth and opened it's doors in 1968. Since then it has gone from strength to strength providing oral health care to the people of Tamworth. We provide an array of dental treatments including dental examinations, hygienist appointments, routine general dentistry, orthodontics, smile makeovers and dental implants. All our treatment takes place in a clean, well organised, friendly environment and we welcome any new patients.

Fantastic experience: My recent appointment with the dental practice this month (October), was not for my annual checkup:that’s due in December. This was just for my dentist Dr Cufflin to check something for me as I am grinding my teeth at the present time (not pleasant ). Dr Cufflin kindly took a look and examined different issues, he thought it could be. He also took a couple of x rays. He gave me his answer to what it could be, and said to give it a week, and to get in touch if any further problems arise. Everyone at the practice is always friendly and it is a very good practice to attend to have my teeth checked - whether it’s my annual checkup or otherwise.

Fantastic experience: A pleasant greeting by the receptionist and just a short wait asI arrived early, Dr O’Donovan came down to reception and escorted me up stairs to the treatment room. I had a thorough checkup, no issues, a precautionary X-ray, all was fine so just a scrape and polish, with Dr O’Donovan informing me of what he was doing the whole time, quite a pleasant experience.

Negative experience: The dentist himself was professional enough. It would be nice if the reception desk acknowledges your presence when you arrive, very unwelcoming. No smiles, very robotic and disengaged. Even when taking my money, still disengaged, neither of them looked like they wanted to be there. The pricing on their website needs ro be more transparent, blindsiding clients with surprise bills is not right. And when a client comes down from treatment, to pay, it might be smart to actually explain the charges, not just hold out a tablet and expect the client to know what it means or what to do. Like I said, zero customer engagement.
Fantastic experience: Having been a patient here since my teeth came about, I've seen a change of dentist only once, which I believe speaks for itself and I was very sad to see Dr Viney leave; I knew her from a very young age right into my 30s. I was then introduced to my new dentist and his wife the hygienist and I am equally happy with the service. Thumbs up.

Fantastic experience: This is the practice I use normally but I needed an emergency filling as I broke a tooth. I was given an appointment same day and had to see Mr Donovan who was fantastic. He explained everything and took his time, I'm like most people not a fan of the dentist, but I would highly recommend his service.

Fantastic experience: 54 years old and still anxious about dentists. Dr Cufflin put me at total easy and the hour 10 procedure I had is starting to regain my confidence in the chair. The dental nurse was so patient and professional even when I couldn’t feel my lips and had to gargle… embarrassing..

Fantastic experience: Like most people I hate the dentist but went for an emergency appointment today as had broke my tooth/filling. Neil O’Donovan explained beforehand (and all through the procedure) what he was doing. Even though it was uncomfortable it was definitely painless. Would definitely recommend this dentist/practice.

Fantastic experience: I've been attending Dale house since I was a child, first seeing Mr. Atkins and now Mr.Cufflin. I find it reassuring to see the same dentist and have a rapport and wouldn't hesitate in recommending the practice to anyone. They are very friendly and the prices are reasonable. I have infact recommended Mr. Cufflin to friends who have since moved to his surgery and have been very happy.

Fantastic experience: 6 monthly check up followed by clean and polish. Friendly, professional care as always. Mr O'Donovan takes the time to explain what he is going to do and to check you are happy with what is occurring.

Positive experience: As usual a very good experience at Dale House with both the dentist and hygienist. Only one slight criticism in that when I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment time the doors to the practice were locked and not due to open till 2 - 10 minutes after my appointment time. Panic over when the dentist let me in prior to my time. After that as noted above a very good experience.

We apologise for the inconvenience regarding the doors being locked when you arrived. Occasionally, the practice doors may be locked just before opening hours, but please rest assured that our dentists are always aware of scheduled appointments and will look out for arriving patients to let them in promptly. Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff, from reception, dental nurse to dentist. I recently had an extraction with Dr. Cufflin and he is very patient and caring, and I would definitely recommend him for anyone who is nervous at visiting the dentist. Our family have been patients at Dale House since childhood and they are a very professional practice and the prices are fair. I like the fact that I know the dentist and that it is going to be the same dentist that I see each visit, this gives me reassurance for my dental treatment.

Fantastic experience: Been using for years and always had a first class service felt a bit wary when my dentist retired. Needn’t have worried my new dentist Jon A.L Mahoney is brilliant he was even able to fit me in for an emergency the same day. I highly recommend this practice.
