Fantastic experience: Excellent all round care. I’m always pleased with the treatment offered by Dr Vithlani and the time he takes to explain what’s happening before and during procedures. Friendly, caring staff at the practice makes going to the dentist a pleasant experience! Ida’s friendly welcome and efficiency is also brilliant. All in all a great dental practice that my family and I are very happy with.

Negative experience: My root canal I had done the crown came off at the appointment I was told it can't be fixed and I need to get a new one. I left without my crown I tried to get it back but they were mean and didn't give it back it cost 500 for the crown when I went back they returned a smaller band crown however, watch out it felt like a scam l have written my review again as every year it was removed very dishonest and it is irrelevant who the management was at that time as most of the problems are with the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Had the pleasure of going to Finchley smiles again today for treatment. My dentist imran made me feel so comfortable and cracked some jokes so ease my anxiety. I couldn’t thank him more with how easy it went and no pain. I’ve tried 5 dentists before finding Finchley smiles and now I finally find somewhere I feel comfortable. Justine the practise manager is the most kind hearted and hardworking professional I’ve come across, she really helped me feel comfortable and helped explain the procedure to calm my nerves, she is an absolute star. Fantastic experience: Quick to respond, incredibly communicative, and friendly staff. Visiting from abroad, so I can't say anything about NHS-prices and practices. I needed old invisalign attachments removed and a cleaning — prices are similar as what I'd pay back home without insurance.

Negative experience: Terrible service & poor management, they discourage NHS dental care, pls avoid, no professionalism, no patient love, only money driven business mind Short story, a month ago, i had hygene & filling service, poor finish scaling, even no mouth wash, within 15mins, charged me £95 plus poor NHS filling service, it was the first time filling treatment, dentist insisting private treatment £200 per teeth, but i refused as my insurance cant cover up, so i rather NHS firstly, then dentisr kept saing its temporary treatment.. I didnt believe it but actually my filling fallen off fillowing day. What a joker?? All NHS dental filling treament last a day??? They looked down NHS service only looking for the Money Money... We should ban this practice. Pls avoid to go

Fantastic experience: I have been with this dental practice for many years since my Dentist Dr Silver moved to it. I had to follow her, as she is the best Dentist I have ever had, meticulous is the least thing I can describe her with. The staff there, namely Ida, are very efficient, they're also very kind, they were very sympathic when I explained I couldn't come for my routine check ups due to back surgery. Fantastic experience: The dentist explained everything clearly to me today ,and I was so happy about the service that I had today, my sister also has a great experience of coming to this place for long time , everyone is nice and amezing and trying their best , my mother is diabetic patient she never missed her appointment and always recommend this surgery to her family and friends , thank you .

Negative experience: This place likes to overcharge vulnerable elderly women and lie about there pricing and then after doing so giving a "good will gesture" discount it’s poor and pricing should be made clear and documented prior to procedures be careful when coming here.

Negative experience: Avoid! As a previous NHS patient, who ground through my mouthguard I was persuaded to pay >1k for 2 mouth guards ( makes sense if you bring through one) and whitening bleach. Except it took 4 tries to get mouth guards to fit ( had to take morning off work after could not remove first set &did not want to risk next 3 without dentist on hand to remove. After all this was advised to gradually increase strength of pre purchased bleach, except they did not have next strength in stock. Do for last tube confirmed with practice manager strength I needed and it would be available also that it was included in the original payment >1k. Told it would be ready for collection The next day. Hubby went to collect as I was at work and was charged £85. Please avoid at all costs. Your sanity is more valuable

Fantastic experience: I recently visited East Finchley Smiles for a consultation. The entire process, from booking with the receptionist over the phone to the consultation itself, was very smooth. The receptionist at the front is very kind and helpful both over the phone and in person. She greeted me with a big smile and even offered me a cup of coffee when I arrived early. The dentist I met with, Dr Silver, with was also very kind and assisted my concerns with a genuine and professional level of care. The facilities have also been recently remodelled and are modern and clean. Please disregard any negative reviews posted on this site, as the clinic changed management a few years ago and East Finchley Smiles is now a premium private practice.

Fantastic experience: I was pleasantly surprised with my Experience in this dental clinic. From the start to the end, it was informative, pleasant and professional. I have booked another appointment for an extraction after discussing my options. I decided to book an appointment for my child who has autism as I was reassured by the staff they would look after her. Kind and reassuring, would recommend.

Negative experience: After they cancelled appointment at the last minute and rescheduled for today. They even confirmed via text. We called to double check but there was no answer. When we turned up at the practice, the door was closed and nobody was in. What a waste of time. You wouldn't like it if we made an appointment and never turned up. Fix this asap. Not fair at all.

Fantastic experience: If you’re like me and are nervous about going to the dentist then I would 100% recommend the team at Smiles. Everyone there is super friendly, really helpful, and very good indeed at what they do. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. I’ve had to have quite a bit of work done on my teeth and Rajan and his team have been absolutely fantastic every step of the way; Rajan is very calm and relaxed and talks you through each procedure. It’s 5 stars for me without a doubt.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to East Finchley smiles for many year to see Pritesh. He has completely transformed my teeth and puts me at ease everytime. I am always able to speak about what I am not happy with and he will always listen and complete until I am happy even without that being part of my appointment that day. I can honestly say I have never felt so confident in a dentist and I will never go to anyone else .

Negative experience: Very disappointed with the total lack of service. We walked in and the receptionists fail to greet us and instead carried on their private conversation. We waited for 20 minutes, while two other patients came in late for their appointments (also not greeted) only to be told that we would need to wait for these two patients first. We left. It's not okay to charge children for appointments and not be able to fullfil the service. Smiles has completely gone down hill.

The dentist is so lovely, understanding and non judgmental and the receptionist is so helpful and patient. Avoided the dentist due to a very bad experience with an old dentist there but now happy to say I'll be coming back. Thank you Dr Raj and Diana (believe that was the name of the receptionist)

Fantastic experience: I had a relatively extensive treatment (replaced old fillings and treated some new decay). During the treatment, the dentist was very friendly and informative. Also, they have a new dedicated camera allowing them to take pictures and present them on the screen. This allowed me to understand better the importance of the treatment. I am quite happy with the clinic and the stuff.

Have had quite a lot of treatment here over the last 10 years - fillings and crowns, both NHS and private - and always had good service, with clear explanations, and (for private treatment) what seem like fairly standard, reasonable prices.

Negative experience: I went in to book an appt to re cement my crown as a new NHS patient, The receptionist mentioned that I can be seen on the same day at 10:20 today and you have to pay £30 deposit. The next 5 minutes my wife called to cancel my appointment and he said is not refundable which I wasn’t aware of it. This is really unfair I would like to have my refund because i didn’t want to go ahead.

I must add that the hygienist also showed exceptional empathy and patience in answering all my queries. They took the time to give me helpful advice about my dental health, ensuring that I left with a clear understanding of how to take care of my teeth and gums in between visits. While I'm immensely pleased with the dental hygienist's work, I would be remiss not to mention the star who orchestrates the entire clinic's operations with grace and efficiency - the receptionist, Ida. Ida's welcoming personality, combined with her diligence and professionalism, adds a unique charm to my visit.Her attention to detail and commitment to patient satisfaction are truly commendable. She brightens up the clinic with her positive energy and charming smile.

Fantastic experience: Both my mum and I had good experiences at East Finchley Smiles. The receptionist, Ida, was helpful with booking the appointments. She also explained everything especially the prices in detail. The dentist, Dr. Silver, did the check-up for us carefully. She also cleaned our teeth with patience especially when she did this for my mum who always made strange noise due to the sensitive teeth. A very good dental clinic and I will highly recommend to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Because of media misinformation I was wrongly under the impression that it was almost impossible to get a dentist appointment and imagine my surprise that I was able to get one within a few days. The staff at Smiles East Finchley were superb from the receptionist to the actual dentist who kept me informed about my treatment and the possible outcome if my tooth extraction was difficult to remove. I was relieved to receive both pros and cons which really assured me and the aftercare info was excellent. As it happened my tooth was removed successfully without the need for hospitalisation and my sincere thanks goes to all the members of Smiles.
