Fantastic experience: Ab fab darling ,wonderful

Fantastic experience: Been coming to this dentist for the past 10 years, ever since I moved to the area. For this whole time, I've had Mitesh as my dentist and he's been seeing my kids their whole lives. Never had a problem with him and we always try to book him for our 6mo checks. I've never needed to get an emergency appointment but all routine ones have been easy to book. There can be wait once you arrive on time but not a deal breaker for me.. Mitesh recommend another dental practice for my Invisalign a number of years ago (good results and service there) but I think they do it in-house now. Negatives- one of the weekend receptionist was outside vaping today as we arrived. Not a good look imo... All in all, would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Excellent treatment would recommend however do not agree to the I pad info the patient is expected to check and sign - not acceptable to elderly patients !

Negative experience: The last time I went in I said I think I have a bit of decay forming in one of my tooth’s, the dentist said “It’s fine just keep adding a blob of toothpaste on to it and we will book you in to get your teeth cleaned in a 6 months time”. I believed her and didn’t think much about it a couple of months later the ‘dirty’ became bigger so I went to another dentist and turns out it was decay and it was quite bad it was seconds away to touch my nerve in my tooth! Luckily the Loughborough dentist saved it and I’m not in any pain. I felt when I was at Charnwood Dental I was rushed and not listened too :/

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic service from the reception staff sorting a emergency appointment out to Kush the dentist sorting my husband out and prescribing antibiotics for a nasty infection thank you so much you are truly the best kush and to the dentist mitesh who helped out on a emergency appointment on Saturday thank you so much .

Positive experience: I only went for a check up but they were on time and the dentist was professional giving good advice. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. My only issue is that they charged me £65 yes, £65 for a less than 5 minute check up! It was £50 last year which I thought was extortionate. I'm a private patient as I haven't managed to get in as an NHS patient yet but even NHS is £45.

Fantastic experience: We've been going to Charnwood Dental Centre since we moved into the area over 19 years ago. We are totally satisfied with the care and attention we receive. The staff and dentists are always friendly and accommodating - and gentle. I have been in fear of dentists ever since a very bad experience when I was about 6 or 7 years old (that dentist was eventually struck off!) and it caused me to stay away from dentistry for many years unless it absolutely necessary - a decision that I ultimately regret. Whilst my mental scars still exist, I feel far more at ease here at Charnwood. So, well done Charnwood.

Fantastic experience: 5 stars for a general check up. Always great! However, if I was to review a hygienist app I’d give 1 star. Less than 7 mins in total (waiting room, seen & paying) & £60+ later! That was disappointing.

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been going to Charnwood for a few years now and the team are excellent. Personally, like many people, I find a visit to the dentist can be a stressful thing to do but Debika and the team always go out of their way to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. She has a wicked sense of humour which really helps to put me at ease. I sense there is a real love for the profession, care for patients with thoughtful advice and sometimes a well deserved telling off! My oral hygiene has definitely improved as a result. I’ll never love going there however it’s the best I could ask for with my fears well managed. Roll on January for my next visit Keep up the excellent work, I’ll step up my flossing game, promise!! Went for my 6monthly check and was advised to see the hygienist, had my hygienist appointment which was really thorough and left my teeth feeling super clean. This is the nicest Dental Practice I have been registered with and would not hesitate to recommend

Fantastic experience: I've been using this practice for 18 years (with a short two year break in between). I have always been impressed by the friendliness of the ladies on reception. Nobody I know is particularly fond of attending dental appointments, myself included, but I must say the dentists who have been providing my treatment have always been careful & reassuring. That really does take the 'sting' out of it. I cannot see myself using a different practice in the near future.

Fantastic experience: I’ve just been for another appointment with Dr Debika Pramanak and feel so lucky to have found such an efficient dentist, who is also very kind. I haven’t experienced even a moment’s pain during any of the appointments I’ve had with her, even when these included dental extraction. She has been amazing! I can also commend her assistant and Donna at Reception for their kindness and courtesy.

Positive experience: We’ve used this practise for years and they’re a great dentist’s however it’s frustrating to have to wait over half an hour for your appointment and not be informed by reception on arrival that your dentist is running behind. Our dentist did apologise and thanked us for waiting thought which is appreciated.

Fantastic experience: Very easy to book an appointment and to pay online. The essentials plan is great value. The receptionists were friendly and even though I’m petrified of dentists after a bad experience, Kush put me at ease and talked me through each step. My options were explained clearly and no pressure was put on me to decide there and then. Have booked my next appointment and can recommend them especially for nervous patients.

Fantastic experience: My family have attended Charnwood Dental Centre for many years and have received very good service. We currently see Kush, who is an excellent dentist. He listens to you and discusses options, and tells you what he is doing throughout any procedure. I had a crown fitted today, which went very smoothly. The procedure had been postponed five times due to illness and a power cut, but the regular receptionist did a great job of arranging new appointments as soon as possible. I would recommend Charnwood Dental Centre, particularly if you can get registered with Kush.

Positive experience: Running 30 minutes late for a 5-minute dental check, told to eat fewer sweet things. The dentist and staff are nice but even at an NHS tier 1 rate, it seemed not worth it. I have had good urgent treatment from them in the past, so I view this annual check as a maintenance fee, rather than of value in itself.

Fantastic experience: I have consistently received excellent service during my visits to Charnwood Dental Centre. The receptionist is always helpful in assisting me and my family with our inquiries, bookings, and questions. Our experiences with both the dentist and the hygienist have been very pleasant. We have never encountered any issues with the quality of the work, and we appreciate the encouragement provided by the dentist and their assistant, especially when helping our children, who can be quite shy about sitting in the dental chair. I have been very satisfied with the service, which has led me to consider occasional private treatments. One observation I would like to make is regarding how some members of the public speak to the receptionist. She does her best to assist patients, yet sometimes she is spoken to and treated rudely. It is disheartening to witness this, as her job is demanding, and it’s impossible to please everyone all the time.

Fantastic experience: Been for my 6 monthly check up today. Very thorough and pleasant service. I like the fact that the Dentist took time to discuss my oral health and advice for any aftercare, after my treatment, rather than whilst doing it, which is easier to respond, or ask any questions. Been with this Practice for many years, who have always been excellent and give you confidence should you be nervous. Highly recommended. Thank You.

Fantastic experience: Recent appointment with my Dentist Kush reassuring as ever followed by a visit to the hygienist which went comfortably well.Just a little unhappy about being charged a deposit for my next hygienist appointment. Not explained if this is refundable if I have to cancel at any point.

Positive experience: I have been attending Charnwood Dental practice for many years and laterly Debika has been my dentist. She is always welcoming & attentive, and fair in her assessment of the treatment I need. My recent visit involved more of a cosmetic treatment (although also preventative) - at my request - and I was very pleased with the natural look Debika achieved. I would definitely recommend her.

Positive experience: My dentist was really good as always, however that is not the issue, it's the reception area. The receptionist need to be more welcoming. The door was open because it was a warm day. (Where is the air con). Someone walked by smoking cannabis and the smell came into the reception. The receptionist made a comment saying 'I can smell weed' What about doing something about it like closing the door and spraying some air freshener. It's sad really like I have said the dentist was really good, even seeing me 30 minutes late after the appointment at least the dentist apologised. I would like to give 2 and a half stars.

I've only not rated 5 because my only gripe is not being told by reception when they are running late. I totally get this happens as things beyond their control happen but please - let the patients know, its just courteous and allows me to reschedule other things booked in for the day. Great service though and would never leave here!

Fantastic experience: Let’s get one thing straight: I’m the guy who sweats bullets at the mere thought of a dentist’s chair. I’d rather naked wrestle a bear with rabies than face a dental scaler. But today I met Miss Patel, the dental hygienist from heaven who turned my fear into… well, not exactly a joy, but at least something I didn’t need a valium for. From the moment I walked in, Miss Patel greeted me like I was a long-lost friend, not a grown babyman who probably looked like he was about to pass out. Once I was in the chair (which, by the way, feels like a throne of doom to us nervous types), Miss Patel was a dental ninja. She explained everything she was doing in a way that didn’t sound like a horror movie script and kept asking me questions to keep my mind occupied, she’d count to 10 each time she took me to the “pain zone” to make sure I knew when the torture would end, which was a lovely touch!!! By the end of the appointment, my teeth were so clean I was blinding the other clients in the waiting room with my dazzling nashers. Miss Patel even gave me some oral hygiene tips, which I’ll definitely follow… (right after I finish this cigarette and a family sharer bag of Haribo). Miss Patel is clearly a gem. If you’re like me and the dentist is your personal nightmare, go see her. She’ll tackle your fear like a superhero (without the cape), she will only hurt you a little bit, she’ll make you relax, and she’ll make your teeth sparkle like a vampire’s dream. Thank you, Miss Patel, for not judging me for my nervous sweating and for making my 10 yearly dental visit way less terrifying than I expected. You’re already a living legend in my eyes, see you again in a few months!! **Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
