Fantastic experience: 5 Stars – Exceptional Care from Start to Finish I recently visited St. Mary’s Dentist and was treated by Nick Maxwell and his brilliant nurse. I’ve had some difficult dental experiences in the past, so I was genuinely terrified going in — but I needn’t have been. From the moment I sat in the chair, they made me feel calm and comfortable. Nick and the nurse worked seamlessly as a team, constantly explaining each step and checking that I was okay throughout. What could have been a really stressful appointment turned into a completely painless and reassuring experience. They removed a broken tooth and replaced a crown with incredible professionalism and care. I honestly think this is the best dental treatment I’ve ever had. Dentists have always been a huge fear of mine, but thanks to the way I was treated, I actually feel fine about returning for my check-up — and that says a lot. A huge thank you to Nick, the nurse, and everyone at the practice. You’ve changed the way I feel about going to the dentist!

Fantastic experience: I have been a customer at St Mary's House for nearly as long as I have been alive. Over 50 years, the fact I am still going there speaks volumes. I took my 89 year old mother there today, and like me has been going there since the beginning of time! The whole team looked after my Mum as if she was their own. She has mobility problems and Dementia, yet nothing was to much trouble for them and made Mums visit as easy as is possible. Fantastic experience: Other family members in Shoreham recommended this practice and I decided to travel down from London to combine visiting family with going to the dentist! I haven't regretted the decision and the friendly and welcoming team have always put me at my ease. I was not looking forward to the last extraction of a big tooth by Dr Nick, but he managed it wonderfully and the gap soon healed up perfectly. He has always given honest and helpful advice, including more recently for the pros and cons of having a crown. It's two years since I wrote the above review and Im glad to say that having now retired 'home' to Shoreham I am still continuing to value the treatment and honest and reliable conversation about the best course of action. although now with Sylvia rather than Dr Nick - the same friendly courtesy and thoroughness. The actual procedure was carried out throughly, without any discomfort & teeth felt fabulous! In no way was it rushed but nor was the appointment dragged to justify the cost. From the moment I walked in, the service was both friendly and professional. The receptionist greeted me warmly, and Nick West’s excellent “chairside manner” made the entire experience truly positive.

Fantastic experience: This place is great, best dentists I’ve ever had! All my life I was a very nervous patient (mainly because of a childhood needle phobia that stayed with me) and I also used a NHS dentist from childhood. I changed my dentist because of only being given an option to extract a tooth with my NHS dentist…my partner said to try her private dentist for a second opinion. I went to St Marys Shoreham for the first time (about 8 years ago) they saved the lower back molar and managed to put a crown on it and it’s been there thriving ever since! Massive thanks to Dentists Sandra and Nick, they were both great, I highly recommend! Also today I saw Sandra again after shamefully avoiding the dentist for 7 years and not only did she save another big back molar but replaced the ugly silver filling in that tooth for a beautiful white one (even though it was a tricky big silver filling that didn’t want to come out) then the lovely receptionist brought forward my hygiene clean so that I could also get that done the same morning to save me coming back next week. The hygienist Maddy who I met for the first time was really lovely and friendly too (and gentle) and so were their assistant colleagues. Thanks very much to all you lovely ladies, I now feel as though I can and WILL get check ups and hygienes every year like I’m supposed to and not hold on to this silly nervousness I have over needles and being in the chair.

Fantastic experience: The first time I visited Sandra who had replaced Stephen, she took Xrays and told me that the tooth which had been capped many years ago was showing signs of decay and would need to be extracted. It must have been over 35 years ago that I last had a tooth removed but the procedure was painless.
