Fantastic experience: I attend this dental surgery & have done for a good few years. I generally see Dr Shima Ghazi for check ups and Fathima Rhia Iqbal for hygiene. I have nothing but praise for both Dr Shima Ghazi & Fathima Rhia Iqbal. I'm given good care & attention during hygiene appointments & any dental problems that have arisen have been sorted out by Dr Shima Ghazi swiftly, efficiently & painlessly. I would recommend this dental surgery unreservedly.

As expected, my hygienist, Fatima, did a great job and, fortunately, further work wasn't required by Dr. Mori, other than to take an X-ray, which she used to explain the future options for, a very long in the tooth, crown will be. It's a friendly, expert, and efficient practice, where the patient health and wellbeing is always the number one priority. I can't recommend them enough. Your teeth are save in their hands!!!

Fantastic experience: Dental phobia has prevented me from booking an appointment for 4 years. Even though I’ve been in pain and my teeth are falling out. Finally after getting myself to book a check up, I only wish I had confronted my phobia a lot sooner. Front desk was lovely, Dr Cotiso was lovely. I booked my appointment for treatment and left feeling well treated and ticking the boxes like I should have a long time ago.

Fantastic experience: I can’t believe I am writing a review for my treatment as I am the worst patient and a nervous dentist goer. However dr Lucy and nurse Mehdi did an amazing job with my root canal and other fixer uppers and the surprise was that there was no pain!! Not during nor after the treatment was there any pain. Only thing I needed was a glass of red wine and a nap and I feel like a new person. I am also a loyal customer for 18 years now. The whole surgery is lovely, even called me to ask how I’m doing. Fantastic experience: Doctor Savatier is a young, energetic and very professional dentist. I had to go under long and precise dental cares with her, and like many, I was quite nervous. However, Lucie proved to be a transparent, reliable, and exceptionally professional dentist, and I am very happy with the outcome of my treatments. I had a dental implant placed by her approximately ten years ago, and I am still incredibly pleased with the result – it hasn't changed a bit. This long-term success speaks volumes about her skill and the quality of her work. She is fully aware of the latest technologies and practices and will always show empathy for the patient (even for the youngest ones). When it comes to having trusted contacts for essential services you'd rather not frequent often, a very good and professional dentist is much like a reliable plumber.... You don’t want to call/see them, but you are more than happy to have their contacts in your address book when needed! And I will definitely keep Lucie’s phone number and will strongly recommend her to someone in need of a reliable and excellent dentist.

Fantastic experience: I was traveling to London from the states and on my first morning in London one of my crowns broke in half. I called the nearest dental practice (McKennel) at 8:30 and got an appointment at 4:30. Dr. Lucie Savatier and her nurse Mehdi took great care of me! They fashioned a temporary crown from the pieces I brought in and fitted it perfectly in 30 minutes! I was so grateful to continue my 2 week holiday with a smile. Negative experience: Absolutely terrible !!! I have been with this dentist surgery for almost 30 years now. Unfortunately I recently discovered that they sold the surgery to someone else and the new employees are terrible !!! I had an appointment for my 2 year old and myself, my son’s teeth were not even checked and neither were mine despite explaining that I had severe pain on one of my back tooth. With the previous dentists, at my 6 month check up my teeth would be fully checked and cleaned and when I would complain about pain an X-Ray would be done however at my recent appointment with the new owners of this practice my teeth were not checked at all !!! I spoke to the manager regarding this and he told me he would call me back in 2 days to book a new appointment. 2 weeks past and no phone call I called in to speak to him and was told he would call me back and again no phone call was made. Today I visited the surgery to speak to him, I was told to wait 10 mins, 20mins past and he did not come and see me. Today, after 30 years I decided to remove myself and my family from the surgery. I wish the old owners remained as the new owners have no professionalism in their job. To add to the below response, on the day of my 2 year olds appointment, the dentist did not show any interest in checking his teeth. As mentioned, I have been with the practice for 30 years and my eldest child teeth has always been checked fully from 1 years old onwards (with the previous owners). Regarding the manager call back, this is a complete lie !!! I did not receive a call back and have checked my voicemail inbox and have received no voicemail message from the manager. Yes I did indeed attend the practice as I was promised a call back from your manager on multiple occasions and did not receive one and as I called back I was played around and told to wait 10mins for a call then told to wait for the rest of the day for a call back and did not receive one so yes, I did attend and was not told that the manager was on a zoom call, I was just told to wait which is again very unprofessional. But I am not surprised at all I suppose this is what to expect from a new owner who has no professionalism and reply’s to Google reviews instead of contacting the patient to discuss the problem !!! My previous dentist did indeed have to step away due to medical reasons however, I was seen by other dentists on multiple occasions for me and my family who were all very professional and had very high experience and knowledge in their job and with patients. Myself and my children’s teeth were always checked in full and I was always very happy with the service I received from the practice that I have been with for 30 YEARS !!! Overall, I am glad I have left as I would not want to deal with a dentist practice that are full of lies, dishonest and have no professionalism in their job or how to deal with patients. Just by looking at your reception you can recognise straight away that you are not professional or hygienic as you have bags and paper scattered everywhere in the middle of dust plus the lack of professionalism by both the staff and dentists this is not a practice who I can trust with myself or my family’s teeth !!! You can keep the practice name “MCKENNELL” but unfortunately the service will never be the same as the previous owners.

While nurse Parvin offered perfect and kind assistance, Dr. Shima showed how a dentist could achieve excellence with her deep knowledge and analysis of the matter, and kindly and patiently enlightened me in detail. Treatment continues. I highly recommend her and the Dental Practice. Administration staff also excellent with being kind and thorough in every step, perfect follow up by emails and phone calls. Fantastic experience: I became a client of Mkennel Dental Practice and became a patient of the wonderful Dr Lucie Savatier. This extremely competent charming lady transformed my smile, all the time working with good humour. The surgery is in the process of having a major refurbishment send will look fantastic once completed. If you need any dental work done ,and are nervous of visiting the dentist,then come to this practice. All staff from receptionists to dentists are charming and welcoming. Fantastic experience: Despite the renovation works in the building everything is running smoothly. I hadn't seen my regular dentist today, but the young staff member that was covering for her was really attentive and helpful.

Negative experience: I saw Mori Shahid on the 10/10/24 she told me she was the best dentist there and that I needed a filling and fixed retainer removing and replacing. I agreed. When I got downstairs I noticed my receipt for the deposit and description of works did not itemise the retainer. I asked Natasha if it was possible for clarification. Despite visiting in and ringing many times I had not had a response from fr Mori by the 15th November. I called in spoke to Natasha my appointment had been postponed and she explained apologetically that she could not make me a new appointment till she has spoken to Dr Mori who she was not allowed to ring and wouldn’t answer her queries. Dr Miri did say she would ring me on the 15th November at 2:30 but she didn’t. I did bump into her on the 29th nov when I was trying to get my money back. She was uncaring and though she apologised it was not Sincerely Terrible uncaring service. These dentists don’t care about you

I had my first filling here a few weeks ago and the dentist gave a clear explanation of the procedure and why it was necessary. She answered questions I had in plain English, and carried out the procedure with total care and consideration.

Negative experience: I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had at McKennell Dental Practice, where I have been a loyal patient for the past 14 years. Unfortunately, the service I received during my latest visit on 23 September 2024 fell far below the standard I have come to expect. During my appointment, Dr. Annabel Gregor MacGregor requested that I remove my dental prosthesis using my own hand, which had not been sterilized. When I inquired about adhesive to reattach the prosthesis, I was informed that the clinic does not provide such materials. This, in itself, was concerning. However, I was most alarmed by the fact that no steps were taken to sterilize the prosthesis after it was handled with unclean hands, nor was I offered even a tissue to manage the situation. This lack of basic hygiene and professional care is both unacceptable and concerning. Given the clinic’s long-standing reputation for high-quality care, I was shocked by the disregard for standard infection control practices. In addition, the overall service, including the receptionists, has deteriorated significantly compared to my previous experiences. As a patient, I expect that the clinic would adhere to basic hygiene protocols, especially in situations involving medical devices such as prostheses. The negligence I experienced poses a potential health risk, and I believe it is a breach of duty of care. I would appreciate an explanation as to why such standards were not followed during my visit, and I kindly request confirmation of the steps that will be taken to ensure that this does not happen to other patients in the future. I also plan to raise this issue with the NHS, as I believe this incident reflects a serious lapse in professional responsibility.
