Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Rathna Dattani for many many years now. When you need an urgent appointment they can always arrange this at short notice very reassuring! She is an excellent dentist extremely gentle and reassuring as I’m a nervous patient. I would have not hesitation to highly recommend her!

Fantastic experience: Today we were coming to another dentist for the first time and were nervous as the amazing dentist we used to go to is in holiday but yet again we were pleasantly surprised to meet another amazing dentist who was so careful and experienced. The dental studio has all perfect team including their receptionist, nurses, dentists and their manager Dr Simon. Thank you so much for your service. Fantastic experience: Dental Studio - Borehamwood, Why would anyone give it 5 Stars? Most of us have fears and phobias when just thinking of going to the dentist. It's for many their worst nightmare. So let me explain why I gave them 5 Stars. I am one for being brutally honest, and have no fear of holding back on my punches. So in short, the attention to detail and work carried out is of the highest level. If it isn't I will always tell them till they have got it exactly how I want it. (for instance having a denture with one tooth fitted) Yes, in the 21st Century you can "Buy anything as it has a price" whether you go private because you can afford to. Or whether you're like me 65 and on the N.H.S. and simply maintaining their oral hygiene. In "Emergencies" Dental Studio's" have rescued me on more than one occasion and for this reason alone is when they fully deserve 5 Stars. No one likes to be left in pain. In life one has to build a rapport with their dentist, it's a two way relationship. I choose to be upfront and honest, which works for me. We could all moan about the price? Where does that get us! Thank you for reading my honest review.

Fantastic experience: Dalma is my dentist,she is the best,she not only a good dentist but she always looks out for me ,i would not go anywhere else now ,also my son does not want to see anyone other than Dalma ,she is very kind and caring.

Positive experience: The practice as a whole appears to be well run.The only thing i would say that the previous dentist who is now retired used to do more cleaning as part of the check up.He only referred me to the hygienist occasionally if he felt they were bad enough to require another appointment. Now we have to make two sets of appointments for check up and hygienist and only the check up is subsidied by the nhs.

Recently I underwent route canal treatment and I was extremely nervous leading up to the treatment. I experienced absolute care, kindness and full information throughout.

Fantastic experience: I had my first visit today at Dental Studios and saw Ruis, one of the clinicians, for a regular hygiene appointment. I can’t recommend him enough!His clinical knowledge is outstanding, and he took the time to explain everything thoroughly, helping me understand where my oral health issues lie and how I can improve my hygiene going forward. I left feeling well-informed and really cared for. I highly recommend both Ruis and the Dental Studios team for their exceptional care and professionalism

Fantastic experience: My experience with Dental Studios i can honestly was a positive one from start to finish. I was greeted by Rachna (after quite a long time of not having been to the dentist due to covid). Immediately my mind was put at ease and all in all it was a very positive experience. Rachna took some xrays and I fortunately everything was ok and I was asked to book in with the hygienist. Gemma the dental nurse very efficiently booked me in with Ruis and again he explained everything that he was going to do and although this experience was slightly more uncomfortable due to the length of time I had not visited a dentist - i had quite a bit of staining and build up which Ruis managed to rectify. I will be rebooking with Ruis and although no one looks forward to seeing their dentist, I can honestly say I am quite looking forward to going back. Thank you to everyone at Dental Studios for making my return to the dentist a positive one. Michelle

Positive experience: My dentist is amazing - she is always calm and reassuring and giving me good, sound advice on my dental care and oral hygiene. Reception staff are always polite and very efficient- and I bet this is not easy when you have patients on the phone waiting on the queue and patients in the practice. I have had root canal treatment- I am very happy with the result, so far so good. My dental hygienist is professional and efficient. I cannot comment on the cost - as I have been with this dental practice for years. For sure, it is easier to get hold of them and book an appointment, compared to the GP surgery! I definitely recommend this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I have been with dental studio for a number of years now as has my partner and children. I am yet to have a poor experience from anyone who works there. I can't speak for all of the staff when it comes to their workmanship but I can give a special mention to my dentist (Dr Nagy) and her assistant (manuella) who have a great working relationship and are extremely professional and gentle for the nervous patients. The centre runs beautifully with the practice manager (cheri) who is honestly one of the loveliest people you could wish to meet and is always on hand to help where required. On arrival we are always greeted warmly by the forever smiling receptionist (Bianca) in a professional and friendly manner. I would recommend this place highly and would not go elsewhere.

Negative experience: Always feel well looked after and respected at this practice. Especially on my most recent visit where my dentist paid special attention to make sure I wasn't in any pain from my procedure. I very much value the work they do here and would recommend to anyone. EDIT: I have had ongoing trouble with my teeth for nearly two years now, and fully put the responsibility of that on this studio. When I first walked in there ~4 years ago I got told my teeth were perfect (shocking for not having gone to the dentist in over a decade..) But within a year I had two fillings, and by the time I'd given up on visiting them entirely, had had the one filling replaced 4 times.

Negative experience: I had an initial appointment in May 2025. Waited patiently for more than 35 minutes . I had a book and read this while waiting. Noted it was a busy clinic so had no problem waiting. There was no apology but noted others later than I were seen to upstairs where I had my appointment. I eventually saw the dentist who offered no apology for the delay. Anyway the appointment was for dentures and as part of the treatment plan will require 3 extractions which I had no objection to. I was asked to come back the next day for X-rays which I did and once again waited. I have since been disappointed as I now have a referral to another clinic very far from me. The reason for the referral which I was not consulted for was that I would require sedation for the extractions. I was so upset as the dentist in her referral said I appeared very anxious when we met and even in the waiting room. Imagine! I felt disempowered as I was treated disrespectfully and practically rushed out of the appointment with the assistant or nurse rushing me out with my jacket. I was wrongfully assessed as an anxious older female in my opinion. My opinion is that they did not want to treat me. I had said quite clearly I would not need sedating. This was not my first extraction. I have last week gone all the way to Battersea by trains and buses and had the 3 extractions done successfully in one go under local anaesthetic and given the respect I deserve. No bleeding and no pain. Despite this the service from your receptionist on the initial day was great. She was even surprised when I approached her to ask why I was still waiting!!! It is important not to make judgments and assumptions. Refer me if you want to but make sure the referral is accurate and fair. I worked for 25 years with vulnerable children and adults and would never make unfair referrals. I resented being described as anxious as this was so false.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended to go to The Dental Studio in Borehamwood and at first I was apprehensive as I didn't know what to expect. I am so impressed with them, from my first appointment to today. All the staff are super friendly and professional. Special shout out to Abi the Hygienist who is attentive, kind and understanding and has completely turned around my nervousness of visiting the dentist along with Shreeya Patel my dentist and the whole reception team couldn't be more happy, thank you.

I went in for a dental hygiene and was looked after by Kasia, who took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable throughout my visit. A special thank you to both of these ladies for being so gracious and accommodating by still allowing me to be looked at after arriving 15 minutes late on a Saturday. I can confidently say that the staff are professional, kind, and genuinely care about their patients. The practice is also spotless and well-organised. Negative experience: As a family we have used this dental practise for over twenty years, however several years ago the original dentist retired and this is now a rent a chair practise for numerous dentists and hygienists . The receptionists are the rudest ,most unhelpful and unprofessional people you could wish to meet ,sitting in their outdoor coats on reception ,eating at the reception desk and talking about patients in front of waiting patients.The whole place has no time keeping system,the dentists run to their own agenda and if you complain you are basically told in no uncertain terms by the said rude reception team to shut up ,never an apology for being kept waiting .You have been warned !!! Steer clear !

Fantastic experience: I recently had a wisdom toothache and Dental Studios, particularly Bianca, were brilliant. They fit me in for an emergency check-up, took x-rays and made a referral. When the pain got worse very quickly, Bianca went over and beyond to help me. She gave me lots of advice, helped me find a clinic that was able to do an extraction quickly, shared the x-ray and whooped with joy when I called back to confirm that the procedure had gone well. Fantastic experience: Great experience,highly recommend .My daughter was so scared of dentists as she had a bad experience with other dentist in different clinic.I took her for check ups to different clinics and she was crying and didn’t want to stay,panicking.Thanks to doctor Dalma,nurse Bianca and the other nurse that was there today my daughter stayed for the check up and now she is happy to go back for her next one.Lady from reception is also so kind.

Negative experience: If I could rate it zero I would! The most terrible customer service. The way they speak to you is bottom barrel considering you are spending money there. The hygienist was so rough and heavy handed - never had a clean like it in my life and I normally get my teeth cleaned every 3 months! She constantly grabbed my face, seemed agitated and was rude. Left me with a mess of my face and told me go downstairs to clean it. Terrible. I am traumatised! Never again. And when I told the receptionist I had a terrible experience she shrugged her shoulders and handed me a card reader - such bad service that it’s almost comical! STAY AWAY!!

Fantastic experience: Hi, I would just like to say how impressed I am with Krishan Kanzaria. I have only been a patient here for a month. Already my teeth have been cared for in a very professional manner with efficiency from Krishan. I am impressed with Krishan as he didn't know the history of my teeth but picked up on what had been missing and what needed doing immediately, obviously very good at his job. Thank you Krishan. :-) Also his assistant was very good too, ( sorry I forgot your name), both very attentive to me and my teeth! :-) Also I would like to point out I felt really welcomed by the staff on reception and it was a nice atmosphere especially when you are dreading visiting the dentist but I was soon put at ease and we all had a good laugh.
