Fantastic experience: Mahan, not my usual dentist, was working on the Saturday afternoon when I was given an appt after chipping a tooth. Mahan explained several options to me and helped me come to a decision for treatment. His technique when administrating the local anaesthetic was superb, and virtually pain-free. Both he and his dental nurse were very considerate during the treatment. Clear instructions were given to me before leaving the practice. I was very happy with the whole experience. My thanks to Mahan and his dental nurse. The receptionist was also very friendly and helpful.

He is accommodating to your needs/questions and is clear around anything that may need monitoring, or any treatment he feels is necessary. Positive experience: My appointment was scheduled ages ago , I arrived on time, I waited, they had a team meeting about holidays, 20 minutes and I’m being generous, it was chaotic and I felt undervalued, and frankly dismissed, I will complete my dental work as the dentist is 100% but the staff are in need of a reality check, the hygienist is excellent. I’m sorry but I don’t like going to the dentist and I don’t want to be sitting there waiting for them to discuss their holidays when they actually have a phone .

Negative experience: even though the removal of tartar has been done ok, but it was done only on the half of teeth. That means I need to come again and in total it will cost me twice as expected :(

Fantastic experience: The care I received from Dr Mo and his nurse colleague was really good. I contacted the clinic for urgent treatment having failed to find any NHS services locally. The positives are the clear way my treatment was explained, including costs, the actual treatment, and their care for my comfort throughout my treatments. I told them it was good (it was fun and I enjoyed myself) but I had to get NHS care which I had found locally.

Negative experience: After my first appointment I signed up for the dental plan so I could spread the cost of future check ups. The receptionist booked me in for my next appointment / check up and since this was meant to be 6. Months from the check up I just had, I assumed it would be covered by the dental plan. What actually happened was when I went for the next check up, despite paying for the dental plan, I was told I still had to pay for that check up as it was a few weeks short of when the dental plan became valid as you have to pay for 6 months before it is valid. Not sure if the receptionist just made an error when booking my checkup 6 months ahead and did 5 months 1 week ahead but it basically meant if I had my appointment a few weeks later I would have been covered by the plan. I feel like this is a bit of a rip off and it should have been obvious I don’t want a check up booked for before the dental plan became valid at 6 months - could have been a mistake or an attempt to squeeze in another appointment in I have to pay upfront for, before the dental plan came into effect a few weeks later. Either way it meant I was short of cash until payday as had not budgeted for this extra expense. Disappointing experience, but the dentist is lovely so there’s that!

Fantastic experience: My first visit to East Preston Dental Clinic was an excellent experience the whole team was lovely and helpful being a ne patient Had to have a full examination with Xrays that were carried out smoothly and professionally I had a clean bill of health and given a 6 month a pointment on a day and date that suited me perfectly. On arrival the lady on reception was very helpful completing my registration at my new practice.

Fantastic experience: I will start this review by explaining that I am a bad patient, was very very nervous about dentists, I didnt go for many years and didn't look after my teeth either. This dentist as a whole is fantastic. The receptionists are always polite welcoming and attentive. My regular dentist ( Katarina ) has been amazing with me, very patient and explains everything in detail that helps me too understand what is going to happen and why. I have also seen another dentist ( Mo ) a couple of times and he again has been patient with me and also very humourous which was great to ease my nerves. I walked in the first time physically shaking and all though I still get the nerves a little they are next to none now. They give me extra time for my appointments as well to ensure nothing is rushed. I highly recommend this dentist, those who are nervous will feel much relief.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic! Never liked the dentist like most people. Always felt like I would go and come out with a huge bill of work to be done and more pain than it’s worth. After 15 years of putting it off I finally gave in and went to East Preston’s Dental Clinic after being recommended them on several occasions and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Glenn was outstanding! Professional but also understanding, put me at ease as soon as I walked through the door. Explained everything to me, gave me different price options for work that may need doing and no pressure to go ahead with it. I cannot recommend highly enough, I learnt more from Glenn about my teeth then I ever have from any other dentist. So pleased I have finally found a dentist I feel comfortable going to and know won’t break the bank every time I go! Thank you East Preston Dental Clinic so glad to be on your books!

Fantastic experience: Always a great visit with my Hygienist Emma She is very thorough, explains everything through the treatment and gives every opportunity to stop if I'm not comfortable, I'm not a nervous patient, but I imagine, someone who is nervous would find her approach very beneficial. She has a very relaxed friendly manner with a few jokes along the way. Everyone else from reception to nurses are also very professional and friendly.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to this dental clinic as I have just moved to the area. I had an unexpected mild panic attack during my hygenist appt (I’d had a bad experience at my old dental clinic but didn’t realise it had stayed with me and would manifest into a panic attack). The hygenist was so caring, kind and understanding and took it slowly - reassuring me the entire time, taking away my feelings of embarrassment. I am extremely grateful for this and hope that I will fine on my next appt!

Negative experience: I really hate complaining but I was irritated enough in this case to do so.On arrival at the dental clinic, five min before appointment time at 3.15 there was no one on reception no big deal as such things happen, name taken at about 3.25 , another customer goes in , who by the sound of things did not have a appointment but was making one but had to have a quick check. 3.35 another customer comes in .brief conversation about being a little late and I said the dentist was running late anyway. I admit to becoming irritated at 3.45 , as the dentist was reviewing other cases possibly on line at around ten min to four I was called in. 40 minutes after my appointment time. No valid apology, I think at least a update of the appointment system would be called for, after all that is why busy people make appointments in the first place ,it may help with keeping customers coming back. I will not be one of them.For what it’s worth.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Dr Dan for a consultation at East Preston Dental Practice regarding my dentures not fitting properly (not done here) and was extremely impressed by the care and attention received from the onset. Receptionists Tya and Tammy were extremely helpful, and I felt at ease going into see the Dentist (I am a very nervous patient). Dan with his nurse Michaela took the time to listen & then Dr Dan explained how we can rectify the fit of my dentures in detail. I was welcomed by the receptionist and the waiting area was a nice, calm environment to be in. It has been a lot of years since I have been to the dentist for varying reasons but I was treated with respect and understanding. Glenn spoke with me and explained what course of action needed to be taken but probably more importantly he listened to me from the outset and we agreed to work towards a plan treating the most urgent first as regrettably I do have a lot of problems with my teeth. I cannot speak more highly of the way I was treated. Thankyou.

Mo explains everything in such a reassuring and helpful manner, that you know that you're in safe hands. Reception staff are very friendly and efficient. Fantastic experience: This clinic is just around the corner for me and I have been going there for 5 years having signed up to Denplan. I used to work in the City and was able to take advantage of a BUPA dentist as a job perk but can honestly say that my teeth now have never looked and felt better courtesy of Glenn. Since joining I have had various work including replacing some old gold crowns with beautiful enamel ones and some white fillings to disguise some gum recession. Glenn is a top dentist who is both friendly and professional and always makes me feel at ease. Emma is an equally very thorough hygienist giving advice when required. Receptionists are all very helpful. I agree with the website’s statement that teeth are an investment for life - I have never experienced any pain or problems since visiting EPDC and am lucky to have such a gem of a practice almost on my doorstep!

Positive experience: Firstly 5 stars for Emma :) The reason for my 3 star rating is that I find £15 charge for PPE a disgrace. This makes me very hesitant to come back I am afraid, if this charge is dropped I will definitely be coming back...... Also there was no mention of this charge when I booked my appointment online, so I find this quite unprofessional.

Positive experience: Pleasant staff with a clean environment. Although it does state on their website that there is a £15 charge for PPE I wrongly assumed it just had not been updated since Covid days when we were all being so cautious. I think £15 is a lot to charge as an extra. Either it should be included in the cost or just added to the price. Why make it an extra? And £15? Really? That seems a lot and I get the feeling it is a bit of additional profiteering, which just leaves a bad taste. Data protection could be better too, I stood and watched the receptionist enter someone’s card details into their machine and could easily have made a note of, of even recorded it in my phone. Name, address, card numbers, everything I would need if i was so inclined.
