Fantastic experience: Excellent service, both dentist and hygienist made me feel at ease

Positive experience: I have attended two visits recently (private)both having an x ray I had an infection the 1st time I wasn’t given antibiotics and when I called up to say I wasn’t given a prescription I was told they couldn’t check my notes for this and I would have to be seen again . On my second visit I asked for antibiotics and was shown my infections and was told what was wrong with my teeth ,then given antibiotics . I have been a patient there for 15 yrs or more and because I’ve missed a couple of appointments I was taken off the nhs register so Unfortuantly unable to afford the treatment I need . I understand their a buisness but sadly No custmor loyalty. .

Fantastic experience: I normally hate the dentist but Dr Sabina and the assistant made me feel very comfortable and relaxed by explaining the procedure and allowing me to take a break if I needed it. Really friendly reception staff.

Fantastic experience: Francesca Yankson extracted the remnants of 2 of my teeth which were embedded in my gums with great professionalism. I was expecting the procedure to take some time and I was delighted with how quickly I was out of the dentist's chair.I have been attending this clinic for many years and have always been a very happy customer.

Fantastic experience: I have recently seen Dr Kush Sikka, had a great experience as usual, I was a new patient who had been to other surgeries in the past however Dr Sikka made me aware of problems with my wisdom teeth that were not picked up on previously. This has recently been causing me pain which has now been resolved. I had a very pleasant experience and would recommend Dr Sikka to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient of Dr Kush’s for a couple of years now, who is professional, kind and patient. He’s always very clear when explaining procedures and puts you at ease. My treatments with him have all been excellent and pain free - never a worry when coming to see him, would highly recommend!

Negative experience: I had an appointment with dentist Kush , I went there with severe pain and high sensitivity whilst eating and drinking in my teeth from the last couple of weeks . I was bluntly advised that you need crowning and so on without primarily managing my pain and needing further work on my teeth. I was not happy with his consultation so I went to another dentist who checked and put me on antibiotics to control my infection and once settled needs the RCT . The dentist was very sympathetic and did the job much better than Kush . May be other dentist in the same practice may be good but I think as a patient we should have a chance to get the second opinion from the experienced dentists from the same practice.

Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience with Francesca at Hook Lane Dental Care. She was really sweet, gentle and explained everything so clearly. I felt completely at ease the whole time, which isn’t always easy at the dentist! You can tell she really cares about her patients and takes pride in her work. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a competent dentist!

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this dentist for 2 years now . I was seen when most Dentists was not taking in NHS patients , which I will be forever thank full for . It is a wonderful Dentist , I have been checked to a very high standard with my treatment with my regular Dentist , who is always friendly and makes me feel at ease , thank you to all the Reception staff too , with their warm welcoming approach .

Fantastic experience: I've been with Hook Lane for about 3 yrs now. Always found Jade and the reception ladies to be absolutely lovely, all of them, chatty, friendly and ultra efficient!! Keiron has done extensive work on my teeth and always been informative, friendly but professional. Started root canal treatment today to try and save my tooth and it was very quick and pain-free- couldn't ask for anything more. Excellent service!!

Fantastic experience: Excellent dental surgery. The only one I've found taking NHS patients in many years. Reception are friendly, they always send notices to remind me to book in and the dentist is always super friendly and really good with my one year old daughter.

Negative experience: disappointed my ADHD grandson came in as an emergency my daughter was not listened to around his needs loud music playing (trigger for him) and no patience at all with him he left very upset and in pain with no empathy given and my daughter very upset that nothing was done as he was to distressed had it been handled differently would have been fine as never had an issue at his normal dentists

Provided the best service I've had in going to a dental practice he has given me my confidence back to smiling again with straighten and whiten teeth. Dr Tony Wong gives expert advice on strategies and out of working hours advice when I am in need. Trust is an important factor in everyday's life and Dr Tony Wong is the one you can trust on as he is one of a kind.

Fantastic experience: I went to see Dr Sabina today for my dental treatment. She made me feel comfortable and made sure to explain the dental procedure to me before starting. Before visiting Dr Sabina I had not visited a dentist in over 10 years. Dr Sabina did an amazing job on my teeth whilst ensuring I was comfortable at all times during the dental procedure.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely 5 star treatment, i had read very good reviews of this practice in particular Dr Sabina Rahman. I was in a great deal of pain due to an infection in a broken back tooth but I was seen same day and given antibiotics and then I was booked in with Sabina the next day, the tooth could not be saved and Sabina had to extract it, however I did not feel a thing and she gave me clear detailed instructions on how to care for the wound. She is extremely efficient and clearly knows her profession well. I need to have further treatment on a different tooth, and Sabina has explained all my options and has taken the time to explain the anatomy of the tooth along with an explanation of my Xray. I have gone from being a rather nervous patient due to a bad previous dental practice to having no qualms whatsoever about having further treatment and checkups at Hook Lane Dental Care. The practice is extremely clean, bright and modern, the receptionists are lovely and very efficient, all appointments are confirmed by text and email. It is very easy to book an appointment as it can be done online which is a simple process or via a call. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: I had a horrible, niggling pain and couldn't locate the issue. Kush was incredible - no assumptions, and totally open to all my questions/ concerns, he took x-rays, found the potential issue and split the treatment into two appointments; my pain had continued after the first and a small infection was immediately treated (antibiotic prescription) and I feel like a new person. Super happy, and would recommend them!

Negative experience: Terrible receptionist. Rang to sign up, told immediately to just go online to sign up, super rude. There phone message directs you to speak to reception so I waited a few mins to speak to someone.Rang back as their online form doesn't work. Wasn't happy to register over phone, told me first up if I miss a session I'll be removed from their list out the gate! Then hung up after pretending she couldn't here for 2 second and didnt call back few mins, blatantly just couldn't be bothered. The gatekeeper to your business is so imprortant. I'm sure the dentists are great, but I guess me and the family will never know!

The electronic forms sent to complete prior to your appointment streamline the paperwork to make booking in easier and communication via e-mail and text is good. My most recent appointment was with the hygienist Natalie Tran who was excellent. The treatment was fully explained and carried out promptly.

Dr Sanobar Bhaiwala is my dentist who is an absolutely amazing lady a wonderful/brilliant dentist who gave me back my confidence with dentists and also gave me my smile back :-) I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. Appointments are readily available, and the team has always been supportive and accommodating. My recent experience with senior dentist Dr. Sanobar Bhaiwala was particularly outstanding. I contacted the clinic with severe tooth pain, and she was able to see me immediately and perform a root canal treatment. Despite my anxiety around dental procedures—especially one known to be painful—Dr. Bhaiwala made me feel completely at ease with her calm and compassionate approach. Her professionalism and expertise were truly reassuring. I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to the reception team, who are always empathetic and do their best to accommodate patients' needs. In all these years l never thought l would come across a dentist that would make me feel not a bit nervous from the moment I get up in the morning to the appointment time on the day. Fantastic experience: Recommended by my neighbours. We changed to Hook Lane surgery as they were taking on new NHS patients. So far I have had 2 visits and each time have had a very pleasant experience. Not only was the dentist himself very informative, pointing out that I could have a crown put in place where I have had an unsightly gap for years. (With no recommendation from my previous dentist for this). The receptionists are lovely, very friendly, helpful and informative. A relaxed atmosphere and made to feel at ease. Even looking forward to my next visit in a few weeks.

Fantastic experience: I came to Hook lane Dental practice recently as I had a broken tooth. I again saw the dentist Kush! He had recently seen my daughter and helped her with her anxiety about being at the dentist so I was glad I was booked with him. He is so informative, respectful and most of all kind! I actually am scared of going to the dentist but having a lovely dentist such as Kush makes a great deal of difference. My broken tooth is now fixed.

Fantastic experience: Always found the staff here polite, friendly, and very kind and helpful. I have had 2 implants (privately), with which I was very happy and felt the cost was reasonable, certainly compared to other quotes I received. The cost included a 3D scan and a proper treatment plan and cost breakdown. Have since transferred to their NHS list, and recently needed an additional check-up to exclude any dental issues as the source of recent pain, which was scheduled for the following day. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had sedation and an extraction. Was quick and easy and the procedure was carried out with care. Had no issues despite me being a very nervous patient.

Negative experience: Although I have no complaints with the quality of my treatment - 2 fillings plus an extraction - the charge of £455 (ie £400 per hour) was, I feel, exorbitant, especially as this dentist is supposedly NHS, hence the low rating.

Fantastic experience: I recently cracked my tooth and the dentist I moved from told me there was nothing they could do for me and that the tooth would need extracting. I wasn't happy that they never even tried to save it, so sought a second opinion with Hook Lane Dental Care. I had two appointments with Sanobar who saved and filled the tooth. She was very caring and professional. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I recently moved from another dentist and have nothing but good things to say about the practice and the staff there. I found my previous dentist was quite rough and disinterested, and that’s definitely not the case here. I first saw Sanobar, who was really friendly, explained things well, and I felt much more at ease. I’ve recently been seeing Kieron as I’ve started Invisalign treatment and again I’ve nothing but positive things to say. Very nice person, explained the process in good detail and I felt very at ease. The staff there are all so nice and professional, and each time I’ve visited I don’t think I’ve ever had to wait around to be seen. Each time Ive been called to go in within seconds of telling reception I’ve arrived. So it definitely feels like a well run ship. It’s night and day compared to my prior dentist. Natalie explained everything she was going to do before when did it and gave me an option of a whitening clean or just the normal clean, saying that she would be happy with just a normal clean at this stage. Fantastic experience: We met the gorgeous and wonderful Dr Amayo today. She was amazing with my son: kind, friendly, patient, professional, knowledgeable, and just all-round lovely. Dr Amayo is now the yardstick against which all future dentists will be measured! I love her! The surgery was running a wee bit behind (which happens, of course), and the reception staff were very helpful in remedying it. A*.

Negative experience: I am really upset that they cannot change the appointments and that they will put me as no show in-spite of me telling them that it is a one off. Really disappointed Update: As an answer to the question posted by owner. It is for my both kids and appointment is on Wednesday ( March 5) evening at 4:25. I can provide you if need further details. Negative experience: Awful experience, GDPR Breached, Staff Negligent, Poor Compliant handling I have extremely awful experience with Hook Lance Dental Practice. Further things senior management is passive ( ignorant) and staff look after complaint not aware of how to solve issues rather try to shift things to customers and TRY to CHANGE FACTS and hide practice ERRORS. I had an appointment for 14th February at 5 04pm. I went for my appointment but I was told my appointment was at 4 05pm. I neither received an email nor any text message. My husband took time off from his work to accompanied me as my earlier experience was not good. Next working day ( 17th February) I was expecting an apology, instead of this they simply sent a letter that we ( me and my husband misbehaved).. They use these Tactics to justify their act in front of NHS ( any customer make a complain they simply ask to leave rather than listening customer and resolving issue) Initial Feedback GDPR Breached ( I found Hook Lane sending my medical records and appointment confirmation email to someone else) Negligence by dentist who used Dental floss on my teeth that cause damage Wasted our time Do no care customer health issue - Despite medical condition - they sent me letter on 17th February that they are not offering me any more appointment under the Umbrella of misbehaviour and not attended appointment at 4 05pm ( anyone make a complaint, this is the Tool, the practice use…..,. This point is already cleared out from GDPR breached that they sent my appointment confirmation to someone else NOT me. Etc etc. ( there are further issues I will share later separately) Now I have asked to provide me a list of all emails they sent to some one to understand magnitude of GDPR Breach. It is already 10 days past and they are using delaying tactics that they are short staffed etc. I will provide further feedback once I have received GDPR breach details as this is very important to know what damage they have done in addition to health issue.

Fantastic experience: The best dental practice in my humble opinion. The dentists are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Reception staff are always professional, the booking system and reminders fast and accurate. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: The only star was for the receptionist who knows what she was talking about. We booked an "emergency appointment" and were told by the dentist "he couldn't do nothing about it". He gave us a prescription of 5-day antibiotics and asked us to "book another appointment" after that, then he would see the situation and refer back to the NHS for treatment, which would take "up to 6 months". Come on mister - we booked "emergency appointment" which as we have expected could have included up to 2 extractions as stated on the NHS website. And anything could happen in "up to 6 months time"! We wonder how he got his qualification as a dentist whilst it seemed he probably was no good in real life situation apart from robotically passing exams, as he had no understanding of the "emergency" situation at all? The kind receptionist saw our distress and correctly directed us to Kings College Hospital next morning 8am for the likelihood of being treated as "emergency". If your clinic has no facility for NHS's 3 bands of treatments under the "emergency basis", please take your clinic off the list so as not to mislead people who need "emergency" treatment! Also if there's nothing your dentist can do, you need to refund us!

Positive experience: The dental practice has been shut for the past few days because it's Christmas. I have an appointment the day after Boxing Day. They will not let me reschedule because I have full blown flu and I wasn't able to ring them ... They were shut for Chtistmas! So rather than lose my money, I'm going to go to my appointment with full blown flu! I'm afraid they stand a chance of getting what I've got because reception won't change the appointment, even though I would have changed it if the dentist had been open (but it was shut for Christmas)! Rules are rules, but there are circumstances where I couldn't give 25 hours notice to reschedule!

Sabina has to be one of the most professional, kind, patient, and hard working dentist I have met who helped get over the fear of dentist. Negative experience: Below standard treatment for NHS patients that are just being used as a financial top up on the business. This is from my experience not my opinion.

Positive experience: I have been going to this dental clinic for many years. I have been going there because the dentist is professional and can help us solve our problems every time. However, the attitude of the reception staff is not very good. It has been the same for many years. I only stay here for the dentist. I hope the staff at the reception will retire or leave this place soon.

Fantastic experience: I cannot rate this place highly enough & I could add another five stars to it. As a person who has had a lifelong problem about going to the dentist, my visits recently have blown that worry out of the water. Starting with the reception staff, they are so welcoming, which makes you feel calm before any of the treatment. the reception is really smart and tidy as well. Then my treatments, to put it mildly, I haven't been to the dentist for a long time. My teeth badly needed looking at, as they were cracked and needed a lot of work. Over the past three weeks, I have been going for treatment and all my teeth are now repaired, I have had fillings, I've had teeth rebuilt and now I am happy beyond belief. I always hear people say that having good teeth makes you feel more confident, that is something I've not thought of really, but it is true. I feel excellent about my teeth and that worry that they would all fall out has gone. The price for treatment by the way is good, but how I feel now? That's priceless - I can't thank my dentist Ms Rahman enough, my treatment has been absolutely fantastic and I can't say anymore than that.

Fantastic experience: I would definitely recommend this dental surgery, I've been coming here for 25 years and never had a problem. Really handy Check up and appointment reminders, excellent service when it comes to booking and arranging appointments that suit the patient. Very good dentists and hygienists and the receptionists are and have always been so helpful and friendly. Brilliant surgery !

Positive experience: Hook Lane is an excellent dental practice. All the staff are really helpful and friendly. The only disappointing thing is that there's no toilet facilities.
