Fantastic experience: Really kind and considerate dentist, he was amazing and understood my slight anxiety around the dentist and made me feel calm and at ease. The whole team are great at communicating and helped me to reschedule my appointment with ease + help get me booked in as quickly as possible.

Negative experience: Went for a check up and the dentist was very rough with mouth while using the equipment. I left with my gums sore and bruised. Will not be returning, they didn’t seem very bothered with my concerns about my teeth, didn’t get any feedback whatsoever. I came for answers and left with my gums sore and bruised.

Fantastic experience: honest, informative and helpful. My previous dentist would always add many treatments that were not required, and the maximum expense, often outside of the NHS prices. Colosseum's dentists are very honest and helpful, and will only treat when necessary, and will be very honest about pricing.

Fantastic experience: Today had an appointment. The dentist has friendly and great staff. From the receptionist, who greets you and chats. My regular dentist who I have seen twice now is a credit to the profession. He is diligent, explains the procedures and makes you at ease. Which makes the appointment relaxing and not feel clinical. To the company owning this practice, you have great staff all round. Look after them, and be appreciative as im sure your patients are :)

Negative experience: If you’re going as someone who uses the nhs, I wouldn’t recommend!! They treat individuals using the nhs for treatment as if it’s a chore like your begging… not very pleasant attitude at all. The woman who I saw was so rude and condescending that I almost lost it in the room with her. Would not go back.

Fantastic experience: My second course of treatment at this excellent clinic. As a total dental coward the 2 dentists I have been treated by have been really sensitive to my nerves. Possibly the best and least painful treatment I have had for a long time. The clinic is immaculate and receptionist very efficient and friendly. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: The practice never answers phone calls or emails, the treatments I get there over the last 2 years have always felt rushed and sloppy, as well as being unusually painful. A previous dentist broke the glue holding my wire in place and the practice wants to charge me £70 to fix it. The one advantage of this place is that they actually accept new NHS patients, but because of the terrible service I'm considering paying for private service elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Ive been coming to this dentist for at lest 15 years but Thursday 8th around 3.10pm myself and my two boys come to do a routine check..boys was very happy and comfortable. The dentist they saw was nice and calm she explained everything and kept them relaxed.i had a filling and some stains removed..usually I feel so embarrassed to go to the dentist...but this dental hygienist always makes me feel at ease and takes her time to give you the best cleanest teeth.I love her work and her passion Great staff they are fun always smiling even though its a difficult time. Negative experience: Been going here for 4 years now - have always found the receptionist to be rude, as if she finds the patient to be a nuisance in her day. I came on time for my dental checkup and hygienist cleaning which should've taken an hour. After waiting 25 mins I was seen by a dentist for 5-10 mins followed by a 5 min wait in the lounge again before the hygienist cleaned my teeth for 20 mins. It was a painful and rushed cleaning - the most painful cleaning I've experienced. The flouride cleaning felt sloppy - it was rushed rather than properly applied to each tooth by tooth. I have never been super happy with my experience but I left so dissatisfied today that I'd like to now switch dentists.

Fantastic experience: No delays or hold-ups. Everyone was welcoming, comforting and super-efficient. (Basically, there wasn't time to get nervous/anxious!) The post-op advice was clear and concise.

Positive experience: The hygienists are good but it is hard to get through on the phone to make a booking, the online booking system doesn't work. nb: You have to pay in full when you make a booking rather than when you arrive for your appointment.

Fantastic experience: Had a really good experience here. They seem to have lots of availability for both private and nhs patients. I got offered an appointment within a week from registering. Appointment with the dentist was good and definitely wasn’t interested in pushing any additional treatments to increase the charges which I have experienced with another local dentist in recent years. Alfie the hygienist was particularly lovely and thorough. Would recommend!

Negative experience: Rude dentists, in a hurry not caring at all, went twice for nothing, they gave me wrong info and fortunately I decided to see another dentist who cares more, check all my teeth and gave me correct info! Avoid it!

Negative experience: Absolutely appalling experience. The Dentist (a woman) seeing me did not even greet me, was very short and condescending. My work usually provides private dental care but I had an emergency in which I booked with Oval Dental Clinic under NHS and surprise, I was treated like a second class citizen. The appointment was rushed and as the individual actually experiencing the pain I didn't need her telling me pain is from something else then proceeding to huff and puff when she had to do an X-ray. Then said "so it's really two problems, maybe more". As a student currently in med school, I have never experienced doctors, nurses treating patients like this... Overall, if you want quality service in the area I would not recommend this dental clinic. The professionalism is sub zero, I was left feeling extremely sad and disappointed following my visit due to the way I was treated.

Negative experience: WORSE dental practice over!! I do not recommend. They NEVER pick up the phone, I have to ring at least 20 mins a day to finally get through. Every time I have been at the dental practice the receptionists are sat in the kitchen together having a chat instead of answering the phone. They tried charging me for something that they had already charged my universal credit for, which is completely illegal. I told them that I will not pay and I no longer need my appointment and that I will never go back to this dental practice ever again! stay away from this place
