Fantastic experience: Recently had two visits here the first an initial visit to see the dentist Matthew Hefferan the second was a visit to see a hygenist Shelley Barnes and her assistant. I do have one follow up appointment with Shelley and two separate appointments with Matthew for two fillings. Having not seen a dentist for 10 years I was a bit apprehensive at first, mainly due to sensitive parts of my teeth/ gums and explained this to both the dentist and hygenist. I must say that both practitioners here have been very careful during my visits and very understanding. They have also provided a wealth of advice, the main one so far being the changeover to sensitive toothpaste (highly recommend colgate sensitive instant relief). To date highly impressed with the professionalism of everybody at Birchfield Dental Practice including the reception staff I've met. The charges are slightly higher than I anticipated but probably on a par with other dentists and good for private treatment.

Fantastic experience: Had my first visit to Birchfield today, was very impressed with the personal service I received. Andreas was very thorough and explained future work that will be required at some stage, but glad to say no pushy sales pitch, just came away with estimates for work required in the future

Fantastic experience: Honesty was very nervous attending my treatment appointment took me 3 years to gain courage, however the staff was very friendly and approachable, and Mr Philip and his assistant are both friendly and make me feel at ease and give choices and always asking if I'm comfortable, and now im confident smiling again, so thank you guys.

Glad they did as now have high quality care from Philip who explained all that goes on with my gums and teeth. Also Shelley the Hygenist is so good. Thanks for looking after my old teeth and making them last a lot longer than I ever expected 2 years on and still going strong. Fantastic experience: Absolutely fabulous treatment 3 fillings, one deep filling and one extraction. Philip explained everything to me and there was no pain either during or after treatment. Will definitely recommend him and have already done so with friends. If you're a nervous patient I can definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Had a check up with Phillip my tooth was cracked and was not able to be saved so he offered to remove it there and then as I am a nervous patient it made sense not to go away and worry about it great service and empathy always shown by Phillip and his dental nurse

Negative experience: I went in to have a tooth removed which cost me close to £200 the dentist made the one next to it loose its hanging in place but very loose he did say it would cost an extra £100 ,to remove it before long I will go down to the practice with a pair of pliers and remove there

Fantastic experience: Very impressed with this practice - have just joined but was nevertheless seen as an emergency and received a welcome referral for specialist dental treatment. Look forward to having my regular dental care here in future.

Fantastic experience: I phoned the practice for an emergency appointment first thing this morning. Bearing in mind I was not currently a registered patient, I was pleasantly surprised to be offered an appointment in just 4 hours time. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and explained everything I needed to know very clearly. The dentist, and assistant, were also very friendly and reassuring. I was very impressed and, therefore, have registered with the practice.

Fantastic experience: I was able to make an appointment and was seen quickly. The surgery is well alud out, open and airy. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. The dentist was excellent putting me at ease and giving me options.

Fantastic experience: Firstly I don’t normally entertain the review process but I had such a wonderful experience with Philip and his team it is worthy of a review. I am a nervous patient and was in a lot of pain , Philip and assistant were so caring and never made me feel stupid or daft for being worried. They took their time with me , explained everything to me and superb aftercare when I felt a little wobbly. Unbelievably Philip offered an extraction straight away for which I can not thank him enough. I am now pain free and probably less nervous of revisiting when I need. Thank you to the whole team from the moment I walked through the door!

Positive experience: Helpfully found me an appointment when an emergency arose. The dentist carefully explained my options. After my second appointment, which lasted about 1 1/2 hours he advised me to wait in the waiting room till I recovered a bit. But the receptionists required me to make the next appointments and pay before I sat down. I could hardly speak

Fantastic experience: I was in pain and called. I was asked to come in that day. Philip was able very quickly to diagnose a cracked tooth and after describing 3 options I chose to have the tooth extracted. After initially having a nearly 2 week wait Philip offered to fit me in earlier and soon it was gone almost pain free and I am so grateful. Wonderful service with great empathy.

Fantastic experience: Had a tooth extraction and denture addition completed last week. Today I had an adjustment made to the denture. On both occasions I have found the reception staff to be friendly and helpful with appointments available at relatively short notice. My dentist (Andreas) and his dental assistant are both welcoming, knowledgeable, caring and efficient.

Fantastic experience: The treatment was very thorough and effective despite the complications and I was very satisfied with the positive outcome. In addition, the denture that was made for me more recently was was perfect and I’m delighted with it! Thanks Andreos!

Fantastic experience: Went for my check up and unfortunately needed a route canal! Saw Siergiej who was very professional, gave me all the facts, costs and time to think about options. Went back for the treatment which I felt was done painlessly and without any discomfort.

Despite being a supremely nervous patient, it was a delight to encounter the Professional and Courteous staff throughout the practice and my dentist Philip and his assistant were absolutely 1st class. The superb service and kind hearted treatment has continued unabated at Birchfield. Fantastic experience: For over 3 yrs my husband and I felt well taken care of since we've going to Birchfield and we see Mr Morton, who is sharp, attentive and gives sound advice and excellent 'repair jobs'. The first filler work Mr Morton did for me, I could not tell it had been done, was a big difference to the one next to it, which is patchy, done by a previous local dentist. We find the practice is caring and supportive and very helpful. We won't be going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Was so grateful to get an emergency appointment this morning with Hamish after a night of tooth pain. Great timing so near Christmas! He was very thorough and put my mind at rest regarding teeth and crowns and gave me antibiotics for a suspected infection. Hopefully that will prevent any flare up over the holiday but so relieved to have been able to get that appointment. Thank you Birchfield, you have always been great over many, many years.

Positive experience: Phillip carried out a filling procedure without an anesthetic, the experience was painless, Phillip really is an exceptional dentist, he will be sadly missed as we are moving on next year.

I can't help but get a little nervous when visiting a dentist for the first time. However, I found all the staff to be highly professional, thorough and informative. Fantastic experience: We, that is my wife, Ann and I, attended the Birchfield Dental Practice in New Milton yesterday, 21st March for our routine hygienist appointments with Georgia. The treatment and advice she provides is as good and professional as ever, it is always a pleasure to attend.

Fantastic experience: When booking the appointment for our son I told the Dentist that he has a medical condition (Autism)they took this on board and extended the appointment time to reflect this, on the day of the appointment the dentist was very supportive and explained exactly what he was doing at each stage of the procedure ,this put my sons mind at rest and without any drama the fillings were completed .
