Thank you so much for such excellent treatment at such short notice. As noted before superb dentist and hygienist, Hannah. If you want a quality experience look no further. Fantastic experience: Friendly, caring and knowledgeable team throughout greeted us and quickly ascertained that what had been described as a minor problem for my son, by a very nearby, local dental practice is, in fact, not minor and imho had been woefully and inadequately diagnosed, leaving my son with ongoing problems. As for myself, I also had much more knowledgable and honest treatment, resulting in my own referral. My partner also received hugely better advice for c-pap management and advice concerning his ongoing dental care that had been entirely under-advised or completely ignored. The relief is indescribable, but, having moved my other son earlier to this practice, I am fully confident I have made the best decision. Really, very pleased I finally feel very confident in my dentist.

Negative experience: Not advise people on this dentist I been messed about from the start takes week to get appointments they send out reminders to get there not to get treatment to be told I gave to look elsewhere as my dentist lady leaving that a private dentist for you time wasting done X-rays etc to be told she don’t want to start my teeth as she leaving with no replacement now got to start all over again

Fantastic experience: So - yes, I chipped my front tooth - long story! - a couple of months later, I went in for 6 monthly check up and clean - said about my tooth - dentist took a look and 20 minutes later it was as good as new - well, actually, better and in a good way - I can now smile and talk again - so all very good - dentist, hygienist, assistants, receptionists all professional, friendly and courteous - 'property' always clean - I would highly recommend Chancery Dental Duston - thank you

Fantastic experience: I hadn't been to a dentist in years. A bit of my back tooth broke away. So I decided to get things sorted. Jelena went through the process of looking at all aspects of mouth hygiene ( as I was a new patient) and explaining as she went along. I've now got the back tooth sorted, and will be back for lower front teeth. I'm glad jelena is my dentist now. It's a double thumbs up from me.

Fantastic experience: I had issues with one of my teeth just between Christmas and new years eve. Contact the dental practice and easily get an appointment. Reception was very helpful and kind. I was aware that this tooth needed extraction, worried a little about the new dentist I was be able to get appointment. Today had my appointment and tooth extracted. Dentist Jelena was very caring, explained in detail all the steps, get prepared for any difficulties (in case we need stitches etc.), proceed very thoroughly and thoughtfully regarding my needs or discomfort. Dental nurse Mihaela was very kind, helpful and supportive as well. Trainee nurse Amelia had very good chance to learn from very good mentors I believe. I was given all the information for the after care. Thank you for making this as easy as possible for me.

She took the time to explain every procedure, answered all my questions, and ensured I was comfortable throughout. The result surpassed my expectstions, she reconstructed my tooth so beautifully. Fantastic experience: Further update- a couple of months after my "8 years after" post my course of treatment is finished. I have two new teeth that fit beautifully and work very well. I recommend implants as being far better than any other solution to missing teeth. One further comment - my moan below about the cheap tranny radio no longer stands. On the appointment after that review, the radio had moved to a more sensible position and we are now back to the original sound source and a station more likely to sooth old codgers like me. I am grateful - thank you. While Jim Anderson is my dentist, I will keep going back. 8 years after posting this review, I am back to edit it. I am still delighted with Jim Anderson's dental care. He recently moved heaven and earth to sort out an embarrassing tooth problem for me before I went to a reunion. Service above and beyond the reasonable both in getting it done in time but also in being able to do the work. Another dentist failed to do a similar job just before my original arrival here. Jim is ably supported by nursing and reception staff some of whom I recognise from my original visit. They know their stuff but more importantly, they do it in a friendly, human manner. I have not seen the second dentist Diana personally but my daughter tells me that she is very understanding and good with nervous patients. I am less keen about the merger with Chancery Dental. It has resulted in excessive appointment reminders all demanding that I fill in electronic forms that when I get to them are generally already complete. The gentle music of Radio2 has also been replaced by a cheap tranny blasting out a commercial noise station from just behind one chair in the waiting room . I hope these are a work in progress that will soon rise to the incredibly high level of the rest of the service provided Back to the original review from 8 years ago:- "Loved it" seems a little inappropriate for a dentist but Ice Dental Spa deserve a lot of stars. All the team are very friendly, welcoming and keen to help. My first visit was just over a year ago having been with an NHS dentist up till then and the difference was chalk and cheese. It is a little more expensive but the standard of care is far superior. My teeth are in a far better state now than they were 18 months ago - I have 4 more teeth now than before for instance - implants - which were actually cheaper at ICE Dental Spa than they would have been if my NHS dentist had done them - and having visited, I was far more confident that Jim Anderson would do a good job of them than the other dentists I contacted. The practice is fresh, modern and clean and best of all, they make the time to treat you as a human being - not just yet another patient. Long may they continue to maintain this standard.

Positive experience: I used to dread visiting the dentist but Hannah has eradicated that fear! Only thing I don't like is the advanced payment. In this day and age they can receive a payment straight away so it is unnecessary. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: I've always been a Dentist-phobe but since joining Ice Dental I no longer worry about fillings, root canals etc etc.....however my final hurdle (and the thing I have always dreaded the most) was an extraction. Yesterday I had a cracked root extracted with sedation...didn't feel a thing or know what was being done - I just laid back, stuck my headphones on and relaxed!!! I felt absolutely fine straight afterwards and today am back at work with no need to even take a painkiller. I cannot recommend Jim and his whole team more and just wished I hadn't spent so many years worrying about going to the dentist and found them sooner.......thank you everyone!
