Fantastic experience: I was a new patient to the practice and having a check up with Dr Rebecca Kee was fantastic! She put me at ease instantly and chatted around my concerns and history etc, then during the check up she was ensuring I was comfortable and could clearly see that I was nervous but she helped at each step of the way! I have to say that she is a fantastic dentist and one who I would highly recommend as she clearly cares for her patients and from the offset puts them at ease!

Fantastic experience: We had an unexpected emergency when my son had an accident over the weekend and broke his two front teeth. Dr Amir Rezvani kindly saw us on the same day and carried out a very complex procedure to save one of the teeth – the treatment took several hours. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and calm throughout, and had a wonderful approach to children, making my son feel comfortable and safe. Fantastic experience: I required emergency dental treatment on a Bank Holiday weekend, immediately following which I was about to fly abroad. A broken tooth & a detached filling left me with serious concerns for my imminent holiday! My Romiley dental practice referral scheme pointed me towards Poynton dental practice. I was offered an appointment that afternoon. (Sunday). A professional approach by Dr Amir Rezvani supported by his dental nurse, provided a speedy diagnosis & offer of a permanent course of treatment. Given the circumstances, understandably this is achieved at cost. The emphasis however must & should focus on patient confidence, professionalism & premium results that run alongside an ability to deliver in an emergency situation. Dr Amir Rezvani and his dental nurse delivered on all fronts - I feel I was looked after and the treatment I received was painless, even the anaesthetic injection was probably the best I’ve experienced. They met all of my expectations allowing me to go on holiday with complete peace of mind. I would have no hesitation in recommending this practice if you are ever in need of emergency treatment. Fantastic experience: My filling broke on my tooth days before going on holiday. Phoned Poynton dental practice on the Saturday evening and was given an appointment midday Sunday. On arrival was greeted by the dentist who was friendly and polite. He explained everything about the treatment on offer and let me decide for myself. I decided to have it refilled and will have it capped at a later day. I was given the choice of music to be played in the back ground while the procedure took place. The staff were very friendly and helped me feel at ease. I am very happy with the service and would recommend Poynton Dental service to anybody.

Fantastic experience: Spent Saturday night from in a&e with the most excruciating pain, phoned up Poynton Dental Practice after seeing their reviews. I was booked in for 7:20am the next day for a very reasonable price. Tooth was taken out by the most kind and caring dentist I have ever met. ‘Bedside manner’ is so important in situations like these and I cannot fault this practice at all. I will definitely be recommending to anyone and everyone.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service. My son was distressed and in pain with a large mucocele on his inner lip. There was a 10 month waiting list on the NHS. His mouth was so painful, we found this emergency dentist and contacted them. They we're very efficient, giving us an appointment to get it removed the following day. When we got there, the practice was very clean and the staff were very friendly. Amir was fantastic, very calm explaining everything and putting my son (and myself) at ease. He was treated with respect and there was no rushing. I felt confident that Amir had done a thorough job of the surgery. Thank you so much, my son is doing much better.

Fantastic experience: Sent a message asking for an evening emergency appointment after suffering referred pain caused by two molars which had cavities. After arranging the appointment by phone; I turned up and was greeted by both Amir and his assistant. After seeing an X-Ray and a bit of discussion; I decided to have both molars extracted plus a new filling in one of my top molars. After both jobs were performed without trouble, I was very much relieved of the pain and had no problems since. Returned for a check-up the following week and found all is satisfactory; just have to keep my teeth in good order! Overall, I am very glad to have used this practice.

I had a Sunday emergency tooth extraction and other dental treatment and this Dental Clinic took the pain away quickly in a very painless way (You'll know what I mean when you had a traumatic experience from other Dental Clinic before) Very friendly and professional Dentist and Dental Nurse. Negative experience: I purchased a voucher on Groupon to have 8 compositebonds on my upper teeth along with whitening. When I rang, it took three phonecalls to actualky sprak to a dentist who said she would not be honouring the Groupon voucher, because it was too cheep! I noticed on Groupon that 5 people had bought this voucher and it was only removed when I RANG Groupon Headquarters in America after hearing nothing from either party for 7 days. I have very healthy teeth but they are very short and have suffered from bullying all my life due to it. So THANKYOU Poynton Dental for selling vouchers - then pulling the rug from under my feet. Then taking absolutely no responsibility whatsoever for helping to recover that £1500!

Fantastic experience: Took my mother here for emergency dental treatment on a Saturday and it was an absolute life-saver. Amir was incredibly kind and patient with my elderly mother, who had mental health issues. He quickly diagnosed the problems and explained very clearly to her what needed to be done, and all treatment was done on the day at a reasonable price. He even put on music of her choice to help her stay calm during the procedure. Would highly recommend Amir and this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service (on a sunday!) my tooth broke due to a cavity in the middle of the Peak District and Dr Rezvani was a complete gent, so aware of how I was feeling and gave a fantastic service. His (I think dental nurse?) Mary is also a real pro. Brilliant stuff, wish I lived up here so I could come to him regularly. He explained all the options, let me look at my x-ray and made sure I was comfortable. Highly highly recommend this practice.

Negative experience: Today my son had a appointment at 16:00, I even arrived with 15min earlier, and what do you think, I waited more de 35min . When I asked the lady from the reception what was going on? She just said, I know, I'm sorry, I just waited another 5min,and nothing. But this is not everything, whoever came after us ,was taken before us. When I said to the lady this is bat joke, she just said I sorry, but I'm sorry it's not enough for that wasted time,my son is 6,40 mins is to much for a kid and even for a adult this is the baddest experience ever

Negative experience: JUST WANTS YOUR MONEY !!! Came here to sort broken tooth, and all he did was talk about everything else that could be wrong, all he wanted was my money and more, and it absolutely skunk in there, NHS dentist are better, would not recommend, I would have been happy to have it out for £250 but he was saying about it might need plates extra £150, had an xray i didn't need to see a cracked tooth.

Negative experience: Went in for “simple tooth extraction” at a cost of £75, came out with an opening to the sinus requiring surgery and was charged £326 on the spot. Not once told of the risks of a possible OAC despite the root being very close to the sinus. Made a complaint, Amir lied in his reply and subsequently took me off the register. I now have no dentist despite this complication and been left with a painful hole and on a waiting list for surgery.

Negative experience: My partner had a really awful experience here when Amir made a mess of an extraction puncturing his sinuses leaving him in agony, having to take time off work and now needing surgery to repair the damage.

Fantastic experience: I had an accident where half of my front tooth cracked off late on a saturday night and luckily I found this practice and Amir fixed it so well you wouldn’t know that it had even happened. I’m amazed with the results and he’s now my dentist moving forward. Wonderful staff who work there and clearly extremely good at what they do. Would highly recommend - especially in any emergency! I got seen within 30 minutes.

Fantastic experience: Amir did an amazing job on my composite veneers. I wanted a fuller look as my teeth appeared transparent on the bottom. Amir was so professional, kind, friendly and made me feel at ease throughout the whole process, as did his nurses and lovely receptionist. I was so happy with this dentist that I committed to a 2 hour round trip each appointment! I am so happy with the results! Fantastic experience: Recently moved to Poynton Dental Practice. Amir and his team are fantastic. Right from the start, Sharon in reception is absolutely fantastic a very friendly and professional welcome and then going above and beyond to help me and my family find appropriate appointments. Amir was fantastic, very calming and explains everything clearly. Very gentle and barely felt a thing when I had my wisdom tooth out. Today he was working with his trainee dental nurse, the way he was with her was lovely to see, made sure that she had the extra time she needed and explaining everything in a calm and encouraging manner. Fantastic experience: I’d like to say a special thank you to Amir and the rest of the lovely team at Poynton Dental Practice. I had my second emergency appointment here yesterday. During my first visit Amir helped to relieve the pain that no other dentist was able to for ~2 years, on the same day as booking an appointment. And I’m pleased to say he relieved me from a very similar pain on this occasion, but without having to endure a lengthy lack of care from NHS dentists like last time, as this time I knew who to call. I had awful pain and infection in a molar that needed to be extracted. I rang Amir’s practice at 8:30am yesterday morning - and by 2pm the tooth was removed and I was completely pain free. The lovely team at Poynton kindly squeezed me into their busy schedule that day to help relieve my pain. If you’re like me and dread the idea of having a tooth removed, Amir’s calmness and professionalism makes the entire process so much more bearable, he is a true professional who cares deeply about the comfort of his patients, and I will undoubtedly return to his practice should I ever require emergency treatment again in the future. Fantastic experience: We were distraught after our 10 year old son chipped his front tooth late on a Friday evening. Amir made the time to see him immediately to have it X-rayed and booked him for a composite bond procedure the very next day even though it was a Saturday. Looking at it now, we cannot tell the difference. Amir is an artist, and we are very grateful for him going above and beyond to help. We highly recommend!

Positive experience: Had to ring an emergency dentist as I was in a lot of pain. Rang around, got a rather rude person from a dentistry in Marple. So I rang Amir at this dentists and he was very nice to me as it was late in the night. Went to see him 10 mins later and he explained what was wrong. Few days later I had the tooth out. Fantastic experience: Had a wisdom tooth extraction on the 26th of May 2024 due to an infection. Due to the bank holiday, most dental surgeries were shut, and those that were open could not give me an appointment. This was the only place that was willing to take a look at my tooth. Dr. Amir explained the process and the risks quite clearly. His confident and courteous demeanor was quite reassuring during the surgery. The recovery procedure provided was also spot on. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I had composite bonding on my front 8 teeth. I had whitening first and then the injectable moulding method. The procedure took over 5 hours with a short break in-between and I would say it was a bit uncomfortable at times but not painful. I had local anaesthetic injected in to my top gum, so was completely numb in the beginning. I would recommend you wear comfy clothing and take some water to drink through a straw during the break. I am absolutely amazed at the result of my teeth and they look so natural. I chose this procedure as it is less invasive and cheaper than Veneers. I was advised with annual maintenance and checkups they can last up to seven years, which is very good value for money! The first photo is the before and second one after composite bonding, which closed gaps and evened my teeth out. Very pleased with the result!

Fantastic experience: I rang up Sunday morning and I was seen Sunday afternoon . I arrived with servior tooth pain and left with out any pain atall. Very professional service.

Fantastic experience: I left a message in the middle of the night when I was up with severe tooth pain, Amir got back to me the next day (Sunday) and offered me an appointment the same day. I went in and he gave me my options and I opted for an extraction. I am a very nervous patient due to past previous experiences with other dentists but he assured me every step of the way talking me through everything and on his side it was all over very quickly once I’d calmed myself down. I have had ClearAlign treatment with Dr Amir for the past year and it has transformed my teeth. Dr Amir also did porcelain bonding on a tooth I have chipped previously and the result is amazing - he is extremely skilled at his job and made my tooth look exactly how it used to prior to chipping it. Amir and Judith have been very accommodating with me as I live abroad and had to be squeezed in for appointments whilst on a very tight schedule - including appointments on a Sunday evening! I can’t recommend Dr Amir and his team enough for all the hard work they’ve done. If you are thinking about having Invisalign/Clear Aligners this is the place to go!

Fantastic experience: I had an abscess inside my mouth which was causing extreme pain. It was 9pm on a Wednesday evening and dentist Amir said he could treat me. I turned up and within 15 minutes I had treatment. It was pleasant for a tooth extraction. I was fully kept informed of each stage and was showed X-ray photos of the decayed tooth. Music was played to calm the atmosphere. The tooth was extracted with ease and there was no pain whatsoever. I was given post treatment advice and a prescription for antibiotics. I would fully recommend using this dental practice. I will go back if need be.

Fantastic experience: My partner was 32 weeks pregnant and was in agony with toothache, we waited 7 hours in A&E saturday night in to Sunday morning to be told nothing was available to help her. I called Poynton Dental practice and got a same day emergency appointment there and then. Amir extracted my partners Nerve in root canal work and eliminated all pain. The service was extremely professional and friendly and this will be our go to out of hours emergency practice. We travelled 1hr 25 mins from Barnsley and would do it all again if we had to. Fantastic practice!!

Fantastic experience: Very good dentist. Since it was my first visit, he took the time to understand what had led to my need to approach him for help. He took about an hour to change a large amalgam filling & also fill in a small cavity in the same tooth. The tooth was cleaned out, washed, disinfected & dried till it most likely gleamed & he used a membrane to catch the toxic filling dust & stop me swallowing any. Then a well fitting new composite filling was installed. I am grateful for this since it was on the edge, throbbing & starting to go down with infection. The best that could be done has been done, so thank-you Dr Rezvani & Judith in reception.

Fantastic experience: i visited Dr. Amir with my father yesterday. I had a pain in my front tooth. Dr. Amir specified the problem and removed the nerve and made root canal in one session in a profissional way and killed the pain, and kept my tooth.
