Toddington Dental Practice

Fantastic experience: Beautiful staff and dentist. I travel miles to go to this surgery. Dentist Dr Nadeem Ahmed Rathore is my favourite dentist. He is very humble and down to earth person. Always meet and greet with smile. He is the best dentist I ever have met in last 25 years . I will recommend him to everyone.

Negative experience: On my previous appointments, this dentist was really good. I called on the morning of my appointment and attempted to cancel and rearrange for a later date as I was unwell with Covid and didn’t think they would appreciate a patient coming and spreading unwanted germs. I was abruptly told that if I didn’t come in the Dentist (Nadeem) would de register me or pay £50 I was disgusted being treated like this I’m on benefits and can’t afford a dentist let alone pay £50 if I had that sort of money I would pay for a private dentist. Whatever you do don’t get ill and try and cancel your appointment before you do get ill just in case this dentist wants to try and rip you off or alternatively go and spread covid to all and sundry at the surgery!! Disappointed and they need to work on their Customer Service because there is none at this practise.

Negative experience: I had done a previous private treatment done which i have no complaints. I'm giving 1 star just because they don't accept patient with an exemption certificate even after knowing my dental condition. They receptionist said they can do private treatment but not accept nhs patient.

Fantastic experience: This is my local go to dentist they are polite professional and very very friendly and explain everything that’s involved putting you at ease , and certainly not here to take your money they are more interested in your care and the right treatment for you , no pressure at all .the best people ever experienced in this profession.thank you all very much from reception to the dentist and the assistance. Fantastic experience: I went to this dental practice today for a checkup up and dental bridge preparation I am very nervous when it comes to the dentist but everybody including the ladies at reception were amazing and made me feel very comfortable. Fantastic experience: I had been suffering with horrible toothache that travelled to my head. I went to the surgery to see one dentist who told me it could be up to 8 weeks to get a tooth removed. I went and spoke to a lovely girl Nida on reception who went out of her way to help me get a second opinion. She booked me in to see Nadeem who removed the tooth. I am beyond grateful to the pair of them who really put me at ease and minute the tooth was removed it was instant relief.Thank you so much to you both for what you have done ! X

Fantastic experience: I had four appointments with Dr. Momtaj for myself and my three children, and she was absolutely amazing! She is incredibly kind and caring, which completely changed my children’s view of going to the dentist. They used to hate dental visits, but since joining this practice, they actually look forward to coming here. Dr. Momtaj is an excellent dentist who goes above and beyond. She X-rayed my gums and teeth, took imprints, and explained everything clearly. Her professionalism and attention to detail are exceptional. What truly sets her apart is how much she cares about her patients. From my very first visit three years ago, she has remembered my health concerns and makes it a point to ask how I’m doing every single time. This personal touch means so much to me. I cannot recommend her enough for anyone looking for a caring, skilled, and compassionate dentist.

Fantastic experience: I had a recent visit at the Toddington Dental Practice and saw Dr Momtaj Khanom for a filling. I'm not keen on any dental treatment, but Dr Khanom made me feel very relaxed and talked me through everything she was doing. I thought the procedure would be painful, but the whole experience was surprisingly pleasant. I'm very happy with the final filling and I've had no pain or problems since. Thank you Dr Khanom for all your hard work.

Negative experience: Why do I have to pay twice for the same service? if the work can't be done in one go!!!? wasting money!!!!!

Negative experience: Kind staff. Though during my filling I felt significant pain while drilling. I couldn’t convince the dentist about my pain. Afterwards he also accepted it was pretty close to the nerves. But overall a good dentist. —- An update on 23 March 2024 : I cannot use my left side of my mouth at all since your treatment. I cannot chew at all because of the pain. I’m angry and nervous!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful friendly practice, when at the end of Lockdown 1, other practices were slow to re adjust to the new Normal , this Practice was up and running in no time at all. We were able to get our six monthly checks, without any problems. Could not fault the Practice and highly recommended them. Still attending the practice, and the service offered is still excellent.

Fantastic experience: I Have nothing but praise for Toddington dental surgery...I'm not good at all with going to dentist but I have no fears now as the care is excellent...I have dentist Momtaj khanom and just recently the hygienist Jodie Bradley both first class..a special note to Ms khanom whom puts me at ease ...I wouldn't ever again hesitate to get treatment where in the past I have ... The dentist assistant and all reception staff are also worth a mention as they're are excellent at their Jobs too which can but shouldn't get overlooked as they are also important in the running of this first class dental practice......thanks to all... Fantastic experience: This is not my usual dental practice but I needed an emergency appointment and couldn’t get one at mine. Phoned Toddington and was offered an appointment 3 hours later!! First time here and can honestly say it was a really good experience. Dinesh made me feel welcome, put me at ease and carried out the work necessary so that I was able to leave the surgery knowing the pain was taken care off. Lovely surgery, lovely staff and finally a dental practice that you don’t have to wait months for an appointment! I am definitely going to ask to be out on the waiting list for an NHS spot. Thank you Toddington for sorting my emergency. Very grateful x

Fantastic experience: I have never ever liked the dentist due to bad experiences as a child. Dr Khanom is my dentist and she is so lovely. She's extremely calming and patient as well as only wanting the best for you and being completely honest. I still get nervous at having to attend the dentist, but as soon as I am in the chair and have Dr Khanom talking me through everything, I can relax. The dentist environment is nice and doesn't feel clinical and reception are always very helpful.

Fantastic experience: I have a condition that makes my gums sensitive and bleed easily. This dentist is always so caring to be gentle and I never have a problem on check ups or fillings

Negative experience: I am giving 2 star because my initial consultation was not great but better than the horrible experience I had when I needed treatment with the hygienist.I has such a horrible experience ,he has not presented himself and did not listened on what I had to say relating to the appointment and dental issues I had.When I started to adress my concerns he started to fight with me making me feel like he didn't really know what he is doing. I went and asked him to to get deep cleaning with numbing injection on the full left side of my mouth on the lower and upper side...he was numbing my full month I asked him why he was numbing my full month he said...he very arrogantly started to adress me and very superficial. He has not asked any questions about the treatment he was doing and clearly stated he hasn't went through the dentist notes. I feelt really uncomfortable and worried and took a day off work, I ended up with part of my mouth numbed and not treatment. I definitely don't recommend this place and I will not go back.

Fantastic experience: I have visited Toddington Dental Practice quite few a times. It is such a blessing to registered with this Dental clinic. From getting appointment to undergoing treatment, it is such a seamless and efficient process. Staff is very polite, responsible and respectable. Appointment reminders are being send at appropriate time. As of now i have no complaints. Keep up the good work going

Fantastic experience: I lost a filling and needed to be seen as I was I pain. I’m the first to admit I’m a very nervous patient. I rang and was offered an appointment within a couple of days to see Dinesh. He put me at ease and took some X-rays and the following week I was able to have my filling replaced. No pain at all !! Very gentle and reassured me during the whole procedure. I would 100% recommend Toddington Dental Surgery as from the reception staff, the dental nurse and of course the dentist himself they are very professional and care about their patients.

Before I joined this practice I would always need to be sedated for all my treatment but now I have this amazing dentist I have even had root canal treatment without sedation. I really can’t recommend this dental practice highly enough.
