However, I was lucky enough to be seen by Adam who took such good care of me and eased my nerves. He genuinely cares about his patients, making sure they’re comfortable and happy with all treatments. Fantastic experience: I came to Greenleaves Dental Practice as a very anxious patient but Dr Kachooei immediately put me at ease. He listened to my concerns, took them seriously and performed the most thorough check-up I have ever had. He is very gentle and knowledgable and clearly has a genuine commitment to helping fix and prevent dental issues. I returned for extraction of my wisdom teeth and Dr Kachooei was very kind to me throughout, making sure I didn’t feel anything and ensuring I was comfortable before proceeding. I loved that there is a TV screen on the ceiling above the dental chair, which meant I was able to relax and be distracted during the extractions.

I had doctor Elle for my hygienist appointment today, after being told by many dentist over the last 9 or so years that the scarring on my teeth from my braces would never come off she managed to remove it all from my top row of teeth in an easy and painless 45 minutes!! Highly recommend this practice as the staff really know what they are doing

Fantastic experience: I’ve always been really anxious about going to the dentist after a bad experience elsewhere, but I’m so glad that I heard about Greenleaves Dental. From my first visit, I felt completely at ease—the whole team is so welcoming. The receptionists are lovely and make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in, and my dentist, Max, is incredibly patient, professional, and reassuring. He is highly skilled and takes great care in his work, explaining everything thoroughly and ensuring treatments are as comfortable as possible. His attention to detail is outstanding, and you can tell he genuinely wants the best for his patients. It’s made such a difference for me and I finally feel comfortable about going to the dentist again. I can’t recommend Max and the team at Greenleaves Dental enough!

Negative experience: In terms of reception staff & the practice manager, my experience of this practice is that its unreliable & unprofessional. I booked an appointment with the hygienist for 12.30, arrived well in time & was advised I was late as the appt was at 12.00, therefore, had missed my appt & lost my deposit ! I had previously received a call confirming my appt for 12.30 ! I received no emails confirming 12.00 appt as advised by the practice manager. I booked another appt for a few weeks later & when I called to move this appt was advised it wasn't even in the diary! Following a conversation with the practice manager, as I wanted to move my deposit to another new appt, she advised she would investigate & call me back, she never did ! I called weeks later to ask what was going on with my deposit & was told I had lost it! The reception staff have twice messed up with booking appts, costing me my deposit which is unfair & the practice manager refused to take responsibility.

Fantastic experience: I went in for a difficult tooth extraction with a lot of anxiety, but thanks to the professionalism of the doctor and the kindness of the team, the procedure went extremely smoothly. The doctor explained every step in detail and made me feel very comfortable. My tooth was extracted without any issues, and the experience was much easier than I had expected. I’m really happy to have come across such a skilled and caring team. I highly recommend them

Fantastic experience: 6 months ago I walked into Greenleaves dentist, with an infection, many missing and rotten teeth My self confidence was very low, as I was ashamed and rarely smiled, covering my mouth while laughing/yawning Today after an extensive action plan, I have a full set of pearly white teeth, and now I can smile again after many years Martin & he’s team were amazing over this period, very professional and extremely nice and friendly I would highly recommend this dentist, I would never go to any other, why should I, as this dentist is the best I have ever been to Alfonso

Fantastic experience: I cannot express what an excellent dental practise this is, especially the receptionist who was so helpful when I had to have an emergency tooth out. She went over and above with the service and big heads up to Martin. Negative experience: Terrible service! If you are looking for a child friendly dentist that’s not the right clinic . My daughter had a check up after along time . And Martin Whelan had to put something like gum on her tooth for her cavity . He kept checking the time he clearly seemed that he couldn’t be bothered.after 7 mins of our appointment he talked to my 6 year old she was willing herself to try again. He simply said your time is up book your next one.i guess is easy getting the money for another 5 mins appointment from the NHS.When it would only take him 5 mins to apply it on her tooth. He could have been kinder. He was the reason why my child it’s been so scared of going to the dentist. He had an appointment with him when she was younger but he scared her so it was so hard to make her come back again.Feeling very disappointed how someone who is a parent himself can treat other kids like that.I wouldn’t definitely not recommend this clinic for KIDS any ages. He will scare them off.The only good thing about this clinic are the lovely receptionist.

Fantastic experience: The staff are very accommodating and changing/booking appointments is very straightforward. The Dentist explained everything very clearly and I am extremely happy with the replacement crown.

Negative experience: The lady who works at reception is very rude and inconsiderate I have been coming to this dentist for many years, I have now stopped coming because of how rude the lady was over the phone to me, she has charged my card also without consent, the lady’s name is Petya this lady made me so upset that I had to leave a review. My son has gum disease and has been told he can’t be seen at green leaves even though he has been coming here for many years my son had a car accident and was hit on his face and his jaw was damaged I explained this to Martin and he says go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff and quality of dental service is amazing! I had one of my over-erupted upper wisdom teeth removed yesterday, and it was a swift and painless experience - the tooth was out before I even knew it. Before going in the consult room I was pretty nervous about the extraction, but Dr. Martin was very patient and reassuring before and during the procedure. Throughout the process (injection of local anaesthetic and extraction), I was anticipating significant pain as I had a bad experience with teeth extractions before back at home (I'm a foreign student), but the whole procedure turned out to be pretty much painless. Probably the best dental service I've experienced.

Negative experience: My 7 year old son had to go to Greenleaves today due to a baby tooth not coming out on its own. The dentist said the tooth needs to come out (which I knew), I expected to have to go back for a more smooth procedure for my son to maybe be sedated… however - the dentist put just ‘numbing gel’ around the gum, I asked about the wand which isn’t painful to numb the tooth and was advised ‘we won’t need that today’ and he took the tooth out. My son was in complete distress crying and having a panic attack (because of the shock) and was told to make sure ‘he bites the gauze because there will be lots of blood’ and seen out. Never mind that a 7 year old who has never had a tooth out, but was in lots of pain from not having any numbing and due to the shock of it all, but who is also now petrified of going to the dentist again. I am so disappointed as we have recommended so many people but now I will have to re evaluate my dentist as I do not think my little one will even want to go back in there unfortunately.

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to leave a review for this amazing dentist Max Seitler who saw and took great care of my young daughter today. She is a very nervous patient, and to be told she needed fillings in her milk teeth to get her through to the age they will fall out was quite a shock! However he couldn’t have delivered a better experience. This involved…injection, drilling and filling the cavity. He used numbing cream for her gums before the injection. He truly was amazing and I can’t recommended enough. Thank you Max. We’re back again next week for further treatment. She said after your her favourite dentist! ✨⭐️

Negative experience: Martin Whelan laughed at me when I was tearful as I’m a very nervous patient. He talked to me like I was a child. Repeatedly expressed his hatred of NHS treatments and patients and didn’t listen to me when I tried to tell him he hadn’t done the mould for a crown properly. When I went back the crown didn’t fit as I knew it wouldn’t and he blamed everything but himself. He then forced a crown in later and I’m pretty sure he didn’t clean the tooth first properly. Again he dismissed my concern. I could never chew on that side after his awful dentistry. Now after a year I am in pain, poorly fitted crown infected and I have to pay private to have it fixed as he wouldn’t let one of the other dentists see me. He traumatised me and should be avoided at all costs. Egotistical behaviour I have a witness for.

Negative experience: This is solely for the hygeinist, as i have not had an appointment with the dentist. I paid £65 for a 30 minute appointment. The hygientist started my treament at the very earliest 17:05pm (maybe even later) and then i noticed she finished my treatment at 17:17pm and said she needed to write the notes so i had to leave. I was told my teeth are good but i need to floss more often to improve my gums, does that take 13 minutes to write? It felt like a really rushed clean, even missing a couple teethe when flossing. I thought i paid for a 30 min appointment so i was very dissappointed the treatment was more or less 10 mins. I felt like she just wanted to go home so rushed it. I will definitely not be going back. My previous hygeinist's treatment was MILES better too. I'd rather go back to my prevous hygeinist far away in my previous home town (i just moved here). Also I booked an appointment after the website said it was £50 for 30 minutes. After I had booked the appointment i was told price had gone up to £65 which is cheeky as i would expect they charge what the customer was told the price was at booking and shouldn't tell them afterwards its gone up. It is still £50 on their website too at the time of this review so very misleading.

Negative experience: They are friendly and kind but we have a bad experience with the treatment. When we came to get my daughter's decay filled, the doctor put in a filling straight away, not even cleaning the tooth. A few months later the decay in the teeth he filled became larger until 2 of them had to be pulled out.

Fantastic experience: Bearing in mind this is a dentist which I’m guessing most of us don’t want to visit the staff and main man Martin are very understanding helpful and good at explaining your options. They are normally on time which is important for me because I take time off work.

Fantastic experience: I had awful experiences with dentists. Expensive, sub par and on one occasion abusive treatment. I hadn't seen a dentist in a couple of years. I was terrified beyond reasonable comprehension. I desperately needed a root canal and was recommended Greenleaves. It was by far the best recommendation I have ever followed up. I was treated with respect, dignity and compassion. Even though I cried in the chair, I left laughing. Even though I shook the whole way to the denstist, rehersing my reasons for my lack of dental care, I left feeling validated and cared for. My treatment was very successful. I even went back to the hygenist there in spite of the visceral fear I felt around that aspect of care. They were wonderful. All of them. The laughter, the genuine concern for my oral health, the compassion from everyone, dentist, dental assistant, hygenist, even the receptionist, has cemented my patronship at this dentist. There is no fear here. There is no shame. Just a real and genuine desire to help people. I cannot thank this practice enough. I'm going back soon. Willingly.

Positive experience: Wisdom tooth issues been going on for couple of years now still no contact regarding the surgery to remove, sadly this may not be due to the practice itself ( alough was told would not take nowhere near this long)and otherwise have had generally a great service from them previously, yet again teeth starting to have issues and am considering looking to change the practice I use just so I can have the tooth removed!

My purpose of the visit was to take a patient who was having a 90 minute root canal job, on picking her up ,she was smiling, from that I gathered that it was a trouble free experience. The lady in question was a senior citizen, and as you may know some of them can be techy, but not in this case. She said thank you Martin for the treatment, and I say thank you Hope for the coffee .

Positive experience: I went to this practice for fillers using a voucher deal and I am happy with the results, I would describe the results as subtle.The practice are using a well established dermal filler product and have a competitive price.Also they are a reputable business with good reviews which is important when undergoing a treatment such as this. It is a patient focused practice,while in the waiting room I've never seen children so happy to be at the dentist as I did here I would recommend coming to this dental practice if it is your first time getting fillers etc, or you are a bit nervous about the process as well as for assurance you are with an experienced injector using a quality product, who as a dentist will have a good understanding of facial anatomy -all very important factors in minimising potential risks and ensuring an optimal aesthetic outcome.

Fantastic experience: Martin has been our family dentist for many years. He is honest and thorough and always puts you at ease. Today he extracted a molar for my 12 year old daughter. She got really worried and upset, Martin (and his dental nurse) was so kind and reassuring to her. I could see how challenging she was making it for him to perform the extraction but he remained calm and used just the right amount of kindness and instruction to be able for her to cooperate and enable Martin to complete the procedure safely. We really appreciate having such a lovely dentist so close I wouldn’t send my children anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional practice with professional and friendly staff. After Martin had done some really lovely work on my teeth and improved my smile, I persuaded my husband to have some intensive dental work involving implants, crowns, dental bridges, etc, etc. We are so happy with the result... My husband looks 10 years younger and I am falling in love with him again after 42 years of marriage! Martin, has giving us both very natural result with our teeth and he is a very skilled and accomplished Dental Surgeon.

Negative experience: I don't recommend!! I went there once and I will not be back!! Dr Costa Petrou was very ignorant and me being a nervous patient - I was feeling uncomfortable. He wouldn't answer all my questions as I took too much of his time. He was trying to find a way of making money out of me - he recommended a mouth guard for £200 which I never needed!!! Luckily I went somewhere else and now I'm a happy Invisalign patient!

Fantastic experience: I received the usual friendly, reassuring welcome and a professional diagnosis and explanation as to the solution to my dental problem. A visit to the dentist is never a pleasant prospect, but one will never find a better team to go to see than Martin Whelan and his colleagues at Greenleaves.

Negative experience: VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE. I went to have a check up with dr. Martin as one of my molars started aching. After an x-ray and a examination he said that everything looks fine with the tooth so it must be a little bit of sensitivity. It wasn't fine at all. I went home and after about 6 weeks my tooth was not only still aching but the pain got even worse. I had another appointment with dr. Martin and he eventually found a small crack on it. He made a treatment plan which included root canal treatment and a filling. The price was over £800 which is much more than I thought it was meant to be so I decided to go to a different dentist for another check up and he told me I didn't even need a canal root treatment! I only needed a simple filling which cost MUCH less. Would NOT recommend anyone going here as they attempted to rip me off and ruin one of my teeth!!!

I knew I needed to take action but couldn’t find a practice where I could put my trust in someone and develop a rapport with a dentist and practice. Fantastic experience: The team at this practice are both friendly and professional. They welcome you and make you feel comfortable. The wait times for appointments are very minimal and the practice was clean and well looked after. They have hand sanitiser bottles scattered throughout and overall are a great bunch of people. I trust them to have my best interests into account when discussing any dental treatment that is required. Overall a fantastic practice.

Positive experience: I've been to Greenleaves dental practice couple of times. The last time I've been there for check up, examination was not completed as satated in the website. I should have had x-ray and fluoride application, which I didn't have. Other than that they are polite and nice,It's just that I didn't feel to be examined thoroughly .

Fantastic experience: Myself and my family are registered with this dentist and I can honestly say that we have never been happier. I am an extremely neverous patient and they accommodate me perfectly. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the surgery is a clean welcoming space. I have also had lip injections from Martin. Not only am I extremely happy with my results, he really did make the whole process so easy and relaxing. He even showed me pics of his beautiful dogs to calm me down. I recommend this place to everyone now!
