I feel fully confident with all procedures and practices that my dentist carries out and recommends. He's very knowledgeable and fully shares information that he feels I should know, or be aware of. He also checks for cancer in my mouth, throat, ears neck and head. Very thorough and caring.

Fantastic experience: Broke my tooth at 1pm, phone the dentist at 1.30pm and made appointment for 2.40pm that same day. Attended dentist who put in a new filler all for £27,00p. Cant complain about that.

Fantastic experience: Had my first dental checkup with Helden whilst he was standing in at Ferndown dental practice and was very impressed throughout the whole session. Not only did he carry out a thorough inspection but also did some on the spot repairs and treatment on my teeth. He kept me informed of all that he was doing and gave some very good aftercare advice too. Hopefully he will be available on my next visit.

Negative experience: I went there twice very unprofessional last time I went he caught my gums which are sore now expected me to take emergency appointment more money for nothing . Very expensive. Not recommended place . I have heard from other people they say the same .

Positive experience: Although my experience of this Practice is mostly positive, I have found that since becoming private, with no option for NHS there has become an increase in pressure in sales of other services, such as a gum consultant even though I don't have gum disease. Although I've made it clear that I've managed with two of my back teeth for over fifty years there is the constant push for a plate. There seems little or no understanding of what it is like to be on a restricted income like a pension and scare tactics like showing Google images of what could happen if I don't have the treatment for a broken tooth simply don't alter the situation. I am in full possession of all my faculties and able to make sound, intelligent decisions of my own and really don't appreciate being spoken at rather than too as if I were a congenital half wit.

Fantastic experience: I arrived 5 minutes early for my appointment and sat in the waiting room to be called. There was a video playing with the inevitable Christmas music, nevertheless it was a very enjoyable video featuring lots of happy smiling people ( they all looked to have perfect teeth!). I was called to the surgery by a very pleasant male nurse where Joanna greeted me and made me feel welcome. Joanna has been looking after my teeth for many years now and I have always been more than pleased with the treatment and advice she has given me. I'm lucky enough to need check ups only once a year so for me the private fees work out very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this practice.

Positive experience: Updated a new NHS dentist has been taken on which is a relief for all of those who cannot afford private treatment or plans. Was... Massive failure of it's duty of care to it's exiled NHS patients. I've been waiting for a replacement NHS dentist for too long and advised that I'm in the queue for when they find another. At my last NHS appointment I was advised that I had a small cavity, that should have been fixed with an NHS Band 2 appointment but none was offered. How long do I have to wait to get NHS treatment that I should be entitled to?

I booked an appointment on line the night before and was so pleased that I could be seen early next morning. The booking system is really good. Pascal is the nicest dentist I've ever seen. He is kind, patient and caring with me being a very nervous patient, he puts me at ease. Trevor his assistant was very polite and courteous, and the ladies on reception are also so kind. Thank you all for putting me at ease and for being so kind.

Fantastic experience: My disabled mother needed treatment, which was difficult as mum is in a wheelchair and has great difficulty mobilising, she also has communication difficulties. Reception assisted promptly and were sympathetic and professional with our needs. Mr Bruno Lopes was gentle, caring and efficient with my mother, doing the assessment and all th treatment in one visit. He allowed myself and my husband to be present during treatment and explained the diagnosis and treatment needed. My mother was impressed that the treatment was painless without injections.
