Fantastic experience: 10 years ago I had an implant performed by Sesh, he did a fantastic job on what had become a complex fix due to bone degradation. 10 years on and the implant is still as good as ever with no issues, thank you Sesh I would not hesitate to recommend the practice in general and Sesh in particular.

The service I have received has been fabulous - Sesh was great at explaining what was needed and why and is a lovely gentleman who is easy to trust! Fantastic experience: I joined Stotfold Dentist over 15 years ago after it being recommended to me as I suffer severe anxiety about going to the dentist. Sesh was my dentist and he didnt diappoint. Due to staff changes I had an appointment with Vaibhaiv who told me I needed a filling, I put my trust in him when he said I didn't need to have an injection. His care throughout the process was exceptional and I was delighted with the whole process. He and his team are fantastic and really sensitive and responsive to my needs. Fantastic experience: I would like to say a big thank you to Sesh and Sorrell for their excellent dental work, professionalism and caring attitude. I had a tooth implant, which needed a bone graft. I am very pleased with the overall result and a recent x-ray showed how successful the graft has been, with new bone growth around the implant. Sesh has also done a great job on my chipped front tooth. I broke the root of the tooth many years ago and had previously been told it wasn’t stable enough to have a crown. However, with Sesh’s expertise, I now have a crown which looks very natural and feels comfortable. I wish I’d had it done years ago as my smile is much improved! The team at Stotfold is always very friendly, helpful and professional. Thank you everyone.

Fantastic experience: Dr Sesh Rao recently fitted three crowns for me. He was very patient whilst I tried to decide whether to go ahead and spent time explaining the risks and benefits. He is meticulous and thorough. There was no pain after the initial anaesthetic injection and there was no pain or discomfort after the procedure, the numbness wearing off very quickly. The crowns are immaculate and have been a complete success. I had an implant a few years previously, which was also trouble-free. I have received treatment from Dr Karishma Garala, who is very professional and takes care to discuss options and provides first-class treatment. I have no hesitation in recommending Sesh and his team.

Fantastic experience: Excellent dental surgery. We have as a family been going there for many years. My daughter's urgency in needing to be seen was quickly actioned and to have the personal touch of the Sesh the principal dentist communicate with me & put my mine and my daughters minds at ease was amazing. The problem was quickly addressed and we were given the various options available as NHS & Private patients whilst we were there. No pushy sales which was also welcomed. Very welcoming staff on front desk as always. We left there feeling that confident that the work that needed to be done was in safe hands.

Fantastic experience: Clean, welcoming surgery. Treatment was efficient , painless and respectful. Not cheap, but that’s how it is these days! The Surgery is always reactive and helpful whenever I have problem between appointments. There is never any chance of forgetting an appointment as there are reminders on text, email and a phone call!

Fantastic experience: I had a front tooth implant. Procedure is several sessions over 6/9 months as the bone needed to be strengthened and post set. A matching veneer was made and fixed. Match is very good and implant very comfortable. I am pleased. Great work, friendly treatment. Good dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Sesh has just completed my first dental implant. Although it was a long process – it takes time for the new bone to grow round the implant before it can finally be ‘crowned’ – I always felt I was in good hands. Sesh is extremely pleasant and gentle in manner. He is very professional and kept me fully informed at all times. Sesh runs a good team. I have now been a patient at the practice for about 3.5 years and have always found it to be a pleasant experience, whether it is just a check up, tooth removal, implant, crown, or the dental hygenist. Negative experience: Called up to re arrange my daughter’s appointment who is 9. Her appointment is a week away so i had given plenty on notice, the receptionist was rude and said she would not be registered if i re arranged as the NHS have a new contract where children are now seen under a private basis if not registered under then NHS? I have worked in the dental industry for over 5 years and have never heard anything so ridiculous. Being under 18 she is entitled to free treatment. After pointing this out to her she went to go ahead to say you cancelled in January of 2024. Which she is correct i went into early labour and had the common courtesy to call and cancel her appointment. She didn’t seem interested in talking to me whilst I was on the phone talking to other people whilst trying to explain to her why I had to cancel. Shocking considering this is meant to be a very good dentist, reception seem to need more training on how to speak to patients

Negative experience: Booked normal check up online. Which i can prove. Sesh asked if i had any issues i said i thought i probably need 2 fillings. No dental nurse short staffed as i heard receptionist say !! No other teeth checked. £85 to tap 2 teeth one xray. Told over £300 for one white filling on top of above fee. No longer do silver fillings. £25 for under 16's Price list needs updating. I wasted £85 that i really could not afford. No wonder people are avoiding dentists. To respond to your reply. It was not an emergency that is very clever of you i was only a few months over due to costs. If it was an emergency i would have booked an emergency appointment and it would have been longer than 10 mins. Pure greed please prove i booked emergency appointment! I only joined you last year which i CAN prove !!!!! I now understand saying i thought i need 2 fillings you made this into an emergency appointment so you could charge me well over £300. After talking to other dentists i now understand thats why you quoted so much. I didnt need treatment there and then or anytime soon. Thankfully i said no. It wasnt an emergency and i have now asked to be taken of your records. Im very sad that you have made stuff up. If you look at your records you will know when i joined. It is obvious you are geared up to cosmetic and not people in your community who struggle so you charge more when they cant afford to come!! Im sad that i joined your practice after reading your story in the local paper thought you cared about your community and not just the people who can afford your fees why are you still advertising silver fillings .... .

Fantastic experience: I've been to this clinic 3 times now (over 18 months) and I'm very happy to recommend them. I don't usually like going to the dentist, but Sesh is a very calming personality and it makes the whole process easier. The rest of the team are great too, very kind and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Since a child i have been terrified of the dentist. I had 2 front teeth that crossed over and protruded more through the years. Finally an accident chipped one of them which finally pushed me to get them cosmetically corrected. Sesh and his team were so sensitive to my fear. Although it was 2hrs + of treatment I was made to feel calm and confident. The result was amazing and my only regret was living with feeling embarrassed for so many years. Fantastic experience: I was referred to Stotfold for the expertise and facilities at this clinic, after un ansuccessful bone graft at another clinic. The prior bone graft was removed, new bone graft performaed with the addition of PRP that aided healing and was very successful. This led to sufficient bone to then have the desired implants to support 5 missing teeth, lower mid centre jaw. Since the completion of treatment (now nearly 9 months ago) there has been no follow up treatement required and I have a better bite than I've had for over 20 years since having bridge work in that area. Sesh and his staff are so polite, professional and leave no stone unturned in working out the best course of treatement required and executing the plan. No reservations in recommending Stotfold Dental Clinic for implants and associated work.

Fantastic experience: April 2024 update: It seems that you can't post a second review for the same business, therefore updating my original post to heap praise on Sesh, Sorrell and the rest of the team for my dental implant journey and fantastic outcome! They were considerate, caring and professionalism personified. I could not recommend them more highly...simply superb! THANK YOU July 2023: Cannot say thank you enough to Sam Maghsoodi and his assistant for enabling me to go on holiday with a smile on my face last week! 30 seconds before leaving my house to attend a scheduled dental check-up, my front crown (and underlying tooth) fell out leaving me with a toothy gap and exposed root canal…..2hrs before I was due to catch a train to Gatwick Airport for a long-awaited holiday in the sun!!! Needless to say I was a tad hysterical and upset but couldn’t have asked for better care under Sam. He and his assistant did such a wonderful job of calming and reassuring me as they tried to determine the best approach to take to provide a temporary solution for me. On top of that, the outcome of their work looked so much better than I had hoped for given the time constraint. Heading back to the clinic next week (again Sam prioritised my appt) to figure out the longer term plan but cannot say thank you enough!
