Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Barnton Dental Spa for a few years now and would highly recommend them. The staff are very friendly and helpful from the moment you walk in. I see Laura the hygienist who gives great advice on keeping up with dental hygiene in between visits, also non judgemental if I’ve let it slip a bit. I also see Gursimar who gives a thorough examination and was great at putting me at ease when I needed to get a tooth taken out, explaining my options if I wanted to ‘fill the gap’. Both Laura and Gursimer always make a point in checking I’m ok during any treatment. The dental nurses are friendly and efficient too and join in on any appropriate chat before and after treatment making my visits feel as if they all genuinely care about the service I receive.

Negative experience: Terrible experience with Pritz. My diabetes was affecting my teeth so I decided to go for private dental care. A plan was made for an upper plate and a cobalt lower plate. These took over a year to make!!! They also extracted 9 teeth at once, my gums wouldn't stop bleeding. They tried to stich my gums so many times that there was no intact tissue that was stichable. This resulted in a trip St John's hospital to stop the bleeding. From going to my appointment to getting home was over 8 hours. Appointments were cancelled without letting me know. Was accused of still owing £1000 after paying my bill. After producing receipts Pritz told me that one of the girls must have forgotten to put it across, what ever that meant, no apology was given. The lower cobalt plate was poorly fitted and painful but was told "you'll get used to it and the pain will go away", I persisted for a few months but still in pain they went in the bin. The upper plate which took a year still does not fit properly even with fixodent. The also look really cheaply made and is so thick it can make me gag. Also paid for a Hygienist session which I never received and overpaid by £100 which was highlighted by the receptionist but didn't refund the £175. So all in all I would never recommend them.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been patients at Barnton Dental Spa for many years and can recommend them for the excellent service they provide. Last week I broke one of my heavily filled upper teeth on a toffee and feared the worst! I phoned the surgery and was seen the same day by Gurshy, a really great dentist I had not met before. She was very helpful and kindly gave me a temporary filling. I returned yesterday to have the tooth repaired as planned and am very pleased with the result. Gurshey is very professional and caring and a great asset to the practice. A big thank you to her, Teenie and Amy for their help. You were all super!

Fantastic experience: Got ma knashers fix

Negative experience: Registered herex2 yrs ago, needed fillings in 3 teeth..told them they needed done. Kept saying teeth were fine..they were not fine. Was paying privately and they never did a thing for my teeth. Transferred to a new dentist and 'lo and behold" I needed 3 fillings £330 it cost me. They should have done them way before? Not a good dentist! Got a poor fitting gum shield from them that they couldn't even be bothered to test in my mouth. Had to trim it myself. Do not go to this dentist!

Fantastic experience: A calm, welcoming practice where treatment is explained and where every member of staff is friendly and professional. If you’re usually anxious at the dentist, they will put you at your ease. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I've always been well looked after by Dr Pritz who did a wonderful job of my ortho treatment. More recently, I have been seeing Dr Brown who always makes me feel at ease, is wonderfully polite and reassuring. Dr Brown has taken time to listen to my concerns and check I am happy with any work carried out. Very much appreciated! A wonderful team indeed and the receptionist makes sure you leave smiling. Just went in again several months later and Dr Brown was so incredibly helpful and reassuring with my concerns. He has made such a difference to my day and I can not thank him enough. Always feel I am in safe hands with him.

Laura, the hygienist, is so friendly and helpful. You couldn’t get a better hygienist to help you keep your plaque at bay! Fantastic experience: I’ve had a double appointment. My dentist didn’t need to do anything this time because part of the service is seeing the dental hygienist four times a year to have my teeth professionally cleaned, preventing problems. As always, the staff were very welcoming.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Barton Dental Spa for over 4 years now. I cannot believe the difference in my confidence since completing my dental treatment, over two years ago. From the very start Pritz has been *absolutely amazing*! I still love smiling and looking after my teeth,I never in my wildest dreams thought I could get the kind of smile that Pritz has given me. He is an absolute dream of a dentist, one that wants YOU to have a smile you can be proud of! He is a perfectionist and this shows in the detail of his work! All the staff puts you at ease, if like me you have a fear of dentists, they are all wonderful and chat away, their caring personality shows from the very start. Laura (hygienist) is also wonderful and can put the most nervous of patients at ease with her caring manner. Barton dental spa have a fabulous team of staff, I would not trust any other dentist, keep up the good work you all do!

Fantastic experience: Considering I'm terrified of going to see the dentist I was delighted visiting The Barnton Dental Spa earlier today. The practice itself is well thought through ( nice waiting area, cleanliness, design and lay out) while the staff were professional and kind. The dental surgeon, Mr Gulsinder Kaur Khair a- Bhandal, was attentive and talked me through a treatment plan. I've not visited a dentist for a long time and now feel confident that I can go to this practice for the treatment I need without worrying.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Barnton Dental Spa for a number of years now and I am delighted with the level of care and attention provided. Attention to detail is extremely impressive and I feel assured that I receive the exact treatment to suit my needs. I am kept fully informed throughout any procedure with full explanation as to why any form of treatment is required. In addition to teeth maintenance I attend the practise for regular Hygienist treatment. I am very aware that without that regular treatment I would not have maintained the level of teeth quality that I benefit from. Reception staff are always very pleasant and have a personal approach to patient dealings. A feeling of being part of a family is very prevalent. I have had four implants fitted by Dr Khaira and his team and I am delighted with the result. From initial consultation to end result the entire procedure was seamless and very well organised. He was the last of 5 clinics I visited for consultations of what route to take with my teeth regarding veneers or composite bonding; after being recommended by a friend receiving treatment there. The advice that Pritz gave me was genuine and looked out for the best interest of my teeth rather than his bank account - which sadly was the case in all other cosmetic clinics I visited - for that I am truly grateful! Fantastic experience: An ethos of professionalism, caring, and friendliness. I had my teeth cleaned and x rayed today by the dental hygienist and my teeth and gums inspected by the dentist. All completely painless. I was given full information about what was being done.

Fantastic experience: The service myself and my 100 year old father received from every member of the team was exceptional. From just gaining access ( Im on crutches, fathers in a chair) to prompt service of a very high quality. We were treated well and kept safe. Gursinda on reception was cheery and great fun at the same time as delivering a great front of house service. Thanks to all and to Caroline who really helped sort my dads dentures. I should also mention Amie on reception for her sharp wit and helpfulness.

Fantastic experience: As a very nervous patient I was dreading my appointment this morning as my nerves were a hundred percent and I felt sick with fear. As I entered the practice this morning I was made to feel at ease. Everyone was so kind reassuring and my fears started to diminish. My Dentist explained everything to me as did the sedationist. I can certainly recommend this pratice and and I will see them when I return in January.
