Fantastic experience: The fantastic team at Talbot Place have been looking after my dental health for nearly 40years. Although in that there have been changes, tje etjos is the same from the minute you walk in, to when you walk out, everyone is very friendly yet professional; its like visiting friends. All of the team put you at ease and provide an absolutely excellent dental service.

None of us can fault the practice, any required treatment is carried out professionally and painlessly (unlike previous dentists in my life!) Fantastic experience: My children and I went to Talbot Place Dental Practice today and I felt the need to take straight to Google to write a review. From the moment we were greeted to the moment we left we were treated unbelievably well. The receptionists gave us the most warm welcome. They were the most friendly and helpful people. We then went for our appointment and the dentist (Dr Barry) made us all feel so welcome and relaxed. She was excellent with my children, entertaining them and taking time to explain at each point how their teeth were and any important information they/I needed to know. First class dentist and experience! When I had to go for my xray, the reception staff came forward again with their excellent care looking after my children whilst I went into the xray room. They were fantastic. Even the dental practice owner took the time to introduce himself to us and was so friendly. Every member of staff we came across during our appointment were welcoming, acknowledged my children in such a lovely manner and all just seemed so happy in their work. It comes to something when your children have had such a good time at their dentist appointment that they don't want to go home! Best 6 weeks holiday activity we have done.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to the Practice and I was very impressed from start to finish. My initial enquiry was dealt with very effectively and an appointment booked the same day. The receptionist knew who I was as soon as I arrived and gave a most helpful explanation of the medical questionnaire I was asked to complete. I was seen very promptly. Mr Volks was thorough, friendly and professional. He gave me a clear, understandable explanation and reassured me I could access dentistry support immediately should this prove necessary. My follow-up appointment was then booked swiftly. I was given a clear explanation of costs and received immediate email confirmation. This is the epitome of what good professional service looks like - a friendly, efficient and effective delivery from start to finish.

Fantastic experience: After not attending a Dentist for five years, my anxiety levels were high but I trusted the excellent reviews from patients at this practice. I was not disappointed. From the helpful receptionists to the Dentist Caroline, and Dental Nurse Lou, I was assured, respected and kept laughing and positive throughout the whole experience. I am booked in for Hygienist appointments and have joined a dental plan. This is the first time I have left a Dental Practice smiling, and would urge anyone in my position to join Talbot Road Surgery - it is a special place, with special people.

Fantastic experience: I've been with Talbot Dental Practice for a few years and have had several types of procedures including a tooth inlay (half my tooth came away whilst eating a toffee!), an implant, hygiene visits, etc. Deon Vlok and the team are incredibly professional, friendly and accommodating in every way. I've never had a dentist offer to open up on a weekend just for me! I cannot recommend this practice enough.

Fantastic experience: Dr Steve Shirley attended the Talbot Place Dental Practice for a routine check-up. He has been visiting this practice for over twenty years now and having visited many Dentists before this, He would like to let you know that this one is by far the best he has ever experienced. the resident Dentist Deon is highly skilled, he has reconstructed broken teeth before and even built one up using amalgam to prevent an extraction, which was just brilliant. Steve was born in the late 1950’s and still has all his own teeth thanks largely to the work of Deon. So a great big thank you must go to the Talbot Place Dental Practice. My dental hygienist, Julie Wakefield, was absolutely fantastic, thorough yet gentle during my cleaning, explaining each step and offering helpful tips for maintaining good oral hygiene at home. Following my cleaning, I had my check-up with Dr Deon Vlok. The examination was comprehensive, and Deon clearly explained the findings and any recommended next steps. I felt confident in his expertise and appreciated his straightforward approach. The staff at the front desk were also efficient and courteous. Overall, I had a very positive experience and highly recommend both Julie and Deon for their exceptional dental care.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going for over 20 years and the staff strike that happy balance of being friendly and informal whilst still giving the confidence in their professionalism. I’ve had the misfortune of needing an implant thanks to eating one nut too many and they dealt with the whole thing from the initial panic of a broken tooth to the post care routine, and all the work in between. Dion and his team can only be recommended.
