Fantastic experience: UK Smile with Dr. Athyr saved my smile and my confidence. He is really that good and you can’t go wrong by choosing him as your dentist. He reshaped my botched veneers from another clinic. And was generous and helpful. Unfortunately for me, I decided 4 months ago to go to the most expensive clinic on Harley street (Welbeck street to be exact - where celebrities go apparently) to re do my top 4 veneers/crowns that were 20 years old. I spent 10k on 4 veneers (more than that after trying to fix them, get Botox for TMD pain and X-rays and scans because I thought I needed a root canal after the first veneers - reality was that they were just too heavy) on two awful sets of veneers. Yes I did them twice and paid for the second round of veneers which also looked nothing like the temporaries. It was 4 months of pain - because they were always way too bulky. But when I say bulky I mean huge. Even after I begged them and annoyed them to make them smaller the second time around. Even after we had temporaries in place that I was happy with. Anyways I lost hope, gave up on that clinic and walked into UK Smile one day at lunch. Since they were located next to my work - I was desperate. The reviewers were good (and now I know why). And my prayers were answered. Wish I had made the choice to go with Dr. Athyr in the first place. I thought I had to go to Harley street. I asked for translucency, I asked for thin veneers, I asked for natural texture, I even gave them the shape (I have misaligned bite and a rouge canine) so I was careful to let them know what I want, I even asked for a darker colour BL2 (but somehow got convinced into BL1 - meaning crazy white like Ross in Friends episode when he is getting his teeth whitened) - and got none of that at the extra expensive extra excellent celebrity clinic near Harley Street. But at least Dr. Athyr was there to save the day. I think he is more on the slightly medium expensive side of veneers (I checked his prices looking to redo) but at least he is worth it. He is worth it and not all are. It can be very traumatic when you put your trust in the wrong dentist. But writing this review for anyone who is not sure where to go for an excellent experience. 5 stars for Dr. Athyr from everyone including me. And that’s all you need to know.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to UK Smile in Victoria on and off for years. I recently had a chipped lateral incisor tooth. They booked me an appointment the next day and filled the tooth. I wouldn't go anywhere else for rectifying a chipped tooth. They were brilliant. I first used this dentist firm 20 or so years ago when they were NHS but went private as felt they couldn't provide the service they wanted under the NHS.

Fantastic experience: Went to Uk Smile expecting complex treatment and multiple appointments to replace my fractured crown, however, Dr Athyr advised to fix it with a simple filling, 20 minutes later my tooth looked as good as new, very happy with my treatment. Also, lovely practice and staff.

Fantastic experience: UK Smile is an excellent has an excellent dentistry team and orthodontist. Two years ago, I decided to take the plunge and have my botched childhood orthodontics redone. Up until that point - in fact for 14 years, I'd been using a Gelb Splint made by Dr Athyr - which had been excellent, but it wasn't until I saw my before and after photographs did I realize what a mess my teeth and "bite" were in, no wonder I had TMD problems and pain. My teeth are now looking amazing, and my mouth has been widened and the opening of my mouth increased from 33mm to 44.5mm. The occlusion is now corrected and I have a night guard to wear to give my jaw a rest at night. I had permament retainers - something I wasn't aware was an option until the end of my treatment. The staff at UK Smile are excellent, and you are made to feel special. Any concerns are dealt with seriously and quickly and Dr Athyr is an outstanding orthodontist. I highly recommend UK Smile.

Fantastic experience: Everyone hates dentists but it’s because you haven’t paid a visit to this practise! Friendly service, welcoming and well run. Very clear information and perfect communication always, I couldn’t praise this practise enough! It’s easy to put off your dental hygiene with day to day life however if you want to get back on track I’d recommend you pay these guys a visit as they care about your teeth just as much as you. They will fix your smile and put a smile on your face aha!

Fantastic experience: Dr Anna Lad at UK Smile in Buckingham Gate, St James, London is an excellent dentist. Her attention to detail and patient manner is first class. I have no hesitation in recommending her and the practice, which is modern, spacious and comfortable. I haven’t compared other costs, but my only negative observation is that the cost of polish and clean might be cheaper elsewhere, but not as good!

Negative experience: Dr Athir has been absolutely the worst dentist I have ever dealt with For a single tooth filling he charme £250 each claiming that he is the best and his work is like magic all the pain and sensitivity will be gone! Well guess what! Since then I have been suffering from tooth sensation, I could not even chew a piece of date or drink a sip of cold or warm drink! All I can say is that d that this place can be anything but genuine or professional Gold diggers dentist! No thank you…

Fantastic experience: Smile has a new periodontal specialist, Dominiki, who is quite renowned in the field - most of her work is teaching now, it’s quite a privilege to see her as a patient. I would particularly recommend the practise to people with chronic gum infections - I know I’m not alone in this, and it can be so dispiriting.
