Fantastic experience: I just wanted to say I cannot recommend Dr Matthias enough at this practice. I’m a very anxious person when it comes to the dentist. I had been in chronic pain and emergency out of hours dentist. He saw me and was very patient, understanding and explained everything he was doing! Thought we may have resolved the problem! Gave antibiotics, rang the following day as I was in so Much pain, he fitted me in after hours and stayed late. Went last night and I was in tears as so much pain! He again explained step by step what he was going to do and completely put me at ease and kept checking that I was ok thought. The pain has gone and problems resolved. Cannot thank him enough for his calm, understanding, professional manor and his help. I would not go anywhere else now for a dental practice.

Fantastic experience: My appointment was to look at a tooth which had needed a large filling a few months ago. I thought that part of the filling had broken away but it was actually part of the tooth. The dentist said I wouldn't need numbing while the tooth while the work to repair the damage was carried out. As I have very sensitive teeth I was a bit surprised but I had no discomfort at all and the work was carried out there and then without the need for me to return. This is not always available so I very much appreciate the surgery's service.

Fantastic experience: Having had numerous dentists over my sixty odd years I have found this surgery to be quite exceptional. My experience as a patient at this dental surgery has been nothing but good. Sarita is a very professional and skilful dentist and is always very kind, calm and considerate of patients needs or worries about dental treatment. Nothing is forced on you and absolutely everything is clearly explained. I recently had two large fillings which were so skilfully done that I have not even been aware that they are there, they just feel like my own natural teeth. I have no hesitation in recommending Sarita and St Michael’s Dental Surgery. 10th November 2025; This dental practise continues to be outstanding in every respect. Since my last review i have seen Sarita several times including a filling and a crown. I have also seen Mathias who saw me for an emergency and was equally professional and welcoming. Both my filling and my crown were so perfectly fitted that i would not know it was not my original teeth before the need arose for work to be done, lovely and smooth with a perfect bite. Positive experience: First appointment. Very thorough. Detailed explanation. Would have had 5 stars if I wasn't kept waiting 25 minutes over appt time. I'm looking for a dentist to bring 2 other family members who wouldn't be able to wait that long because of anxiety. If this happens more than a one off they won't be able to continue attending here and I'll have to find another place, which would be disappointing because the atmosphere is really nice and calm but you can hear work being done from the waiting room.

Fantastic experience: I met Khan your hygienist for the first time last week. He & his lovely Nurse were welcoming & friendly & immediately made me feel relaxed.. They were both very orofessional & excellent at their jobs. Fantastic experience: I have been abroad in COVID for over 2 years 2019 to 2023 and the practice had been passed to a new partner, and alas I was deregistered as i did not seek dentistry till 2024, but that was quickly dealt with by the very efficient receptionist and an appointment was made for me next day, on my arrival I saw the head partner who was very efficient and a good sense of humour, I would say perfect for children and those of us who are not completely comfortable in a dentist chair, fortunately I do not suffer from that fear, but there is still time, I was given at my request x-rays if my teeth and condition, and was told exactly what was required to bring me back to a good set of teeth being it some are replacement crowns, I was given a quotation of costs involved and a caveat that it may change if unknown things arise on my program of teeth rehabilitation, the cost estimate was reasonable, my first appointment was today 10/9/2024, i was early but was catered for sooner for a hygienic process, which I found was surprisingly pain free and carried by very efficient professional staff with a good result, ready for my first major visit on the 25/9/2024 with the head partner, I have found that it is worthwhile traveling from faversham to Maidstone to see a well run and efficient dentist practice with a reasonable cost, as it's just not a chair it's way beyond that in these costly times, and parking to that's a bonus, so give st. michaels a call next time you need a practice that looks after you with heart & soul, best regards Toni hodgKins

Fantastic experience: I visited for a re-repair of a filling that had fallen out after only two months of use. Everything about my visit was perfect. My tooth was repaired with a small filling. I was treated well and all options to repair my tooth were fully explained, which will help in the future if the filling fails again. The replacement was done under warranty as I expected. However, on check-out I was charged £65 for an emergency appointment. I challenged this payment and was told any appointment outside of my normal dental plan is classed as an emergency. I understand this in principle. However, as this appointment was for repair under warranty I do not believe the emergency payment should be applied. Regards. Steve Hickey.

Fantastic experience: I was scared of the dentist from my previous dentists and at 43 I have had the hygienist once at my previous dentist in my life! I joined St.Michaels and have visited the dentist once and the hygienist. I am now at ease! What a different experience. I’m a talker and nervous but they put me at ease, answered what I asked and seem to have wiped all the irrational fears I had previously. I now am not dreading the work I need to have done.
