Negative experience: Told me they don't bother reading the reviews when called me around 8 weeks later and then described how the dentist left door open then when and did an x ray in the client next door then returned well some are easily pleased as mentioed to staff

Negative experience: CHURCH HOUSE DENTIST SHOREHAM BY SEA DISHONEST MARIA WRONG DIAGNOSIS I NEED AN OPOLOGY MARIA ABRILL FOR YOUR MISTAKE DIAGNOSIS I REFUSE TO HAVE MY IMPLANT DONE I DID NOT HAVE ANY INFECTION ON MY IMPLANT OR ANY TEETH OR GUM i had a consulation with maria abrill she was very pleasant but her question was very odd from all the other dentist N H S and private xray was taken and maria said to to me when did i haD my implant that is my last teeth lower on left i tell her cannot really remember but it was quite a while maybe few years maria said that i have an infection i was shock she said come and look where the screw IS the implant i said you got it wrong cannot be right i was hurt upset i ask her if she was sure maria said come and have a look i said well mariat but how can that be i saw my n h s dentist about 1 month ago she taken an xray no infection with my implant then before i went to church house i saw my private dentist brighton implants she took xray she said every thing is perfect just need implant to be fitter showed me xray no infection then i went to angels dentist another xray no infection i said to maria i dont have any infection why all i can think of maria wanted me to have 3 implant i was shocked mentally disturb she accuse me of my behaviour change what does one expect no where on church house site is a price for consulation maria charge me 92 pounds i paid and said i paid 92 pounds for wrong diagnose really on church house dentist site was no price for consulation but second opinion price was 45 pounds i feel let down maria behaviour towards me as a pensioner was treated with dishonest i did send an email to her but got a reply from mr robert harris he was not present WHEN I WAS HAVING MY CONSULATION the email he send was untrue it sadden me to know how badly i was treated maria behaviour was odd dishonest and disrespecful and rude i would like to get it sorted hope to hear from mr robert I HEAR FROM MR HARRIS HE SAID THAT HE COULD ONLY READ FROM THE NOTES WELL HE WAS NOT THEIR I WILL LIKE TO KNOW WHERE WAS MARIA TRAINED HAS BEEN KNOW PEOPLE HAVE FAKE PAPERS FIRST DENTIST ASK ME LOTS OF ODD QUESTION MOST UNCOMFORTABLE

Fantastic experience: I have just had a fantastic porcelaine crown fitted by Maria Hurtado and thought I'd like to mention something else I am very grateful for. A few years back I was in for a check up, I'd also noticed an ulcer that wasn't going away. Before I mentioned it Maria had spotted it, photographed it and sent it to the hospital as it was deemed suspicious. 4 days later I had it examined and biopsied at Chichester hospital and it turned out the cells were undergoing 'severe dysplasia' ie on the way to mouth cancer. Later I would have a section of my tongue removed under general anaesthetic. Please folk you must have any suspicious white patches or ulcers in your mouth examined by a dentist.

Fantastic experience: I recently had root canal treatment and a crown fitted. The prospect of root canal treatment was daunting for me but I can honestly say I no longer have any fear as the care and attention I received was excellent. Fantastic experience: If you are scared of dentists, please try these! They are probably the best around for nervous patients! This is by far the best dentist I've ever experienced! I'll be honest, ive had a rubbish time, lacked caring for myself and put off the dentist because I was worry how they would be. I am petrified of dentists But I saw Ash and he was brilliant! He was so kind, explained anything that I didn't understand, and gave me a few options, not at any point did it come across to me that Ash was just trying to sell their services which i really liked, usually you get told the expensive options, but Ash just wanted to make sure I was getting the help I needed, we had a good laugh through out rhe appointment which made it so much more relaxed. Don't hesitate, just call them, explain what's wrong and from that moment you'll be looked after!

I must say they make a great team & made me feel totally at ease. Ash explained everything thoroughly & clearly has his client’s interests at heart. January 2024 Thank you Dr Sara-Jane & Nurse Lorraine for making my first visit to Church House dental practice as comfortable as could be expected. I am not a regular dentist goer so was a bit nervous. They put me at ease during the whole examination process & the pain I had been experiencing in one of my back teeth since before Christmas has now gone (so has the tooth).

Fantastic experience: I always receive an excellent service from Church House Dental Practice. I am extremely confident in my dentist Maria Abril Hurtado to do an outstanding job. My recent treatment was a crown filling, Maria advised a hard composite material at an acceptable price. The receptionist there Anna Roberts, knows myself and my partner by first names and will always follow up and accommodate our appointments. We recently moved further away to Shoreham, both myself and my partner are decided we will stay with Church House.

Fantastic experience: As a result of an accident, I broke, cracked and chipped a number of my front teeth and as a result, in addition to the pain and discomfort, I lost a bit of confidence for social life. Maria was very sympathetic to my situation and needs and guided me through a number of dental procedures over the past 4 months to help me smile again. These involved a tooth extraction, the creation of a number of temporary bridges and finally a permanent bridge and three veneers. With the addition of a whitening process, I now have a lovely bright white straight tooth smile. Many thanks to Maria and all the team at the practice who supported me through my journey.

Negative experience: I attended for a check up, the dentist only looked inside my mouth for a couple of minutes, if that, filed a one of my molars which had a sharp edge and took an xray, she also checked my head and my neck for cancer!!?? I had been concerned with my previous appointment, a year ago, when again her inspection of my mouth only lasted for a minute or so and her only remark was that I brushed my teeth very well. Two years ago she reckoned that I needed periodontal treatment which would involve an operation - I declined this treatment as I didn't want to have an operation. Since then she has made no further comment about this treatment during my two subsequent visits!! At the end of this most recent check up, she said I needed a filling on one of my teeth but because this cavity was in between two teeth this would require a crown for which two further appointments were needed at a cost of £655.20, no other option was given nor any further inspection of my mouth. MY MAIN CONCERN IS HER LACK OF PROPERLY CHECKING MY MOUTH, SHE DID NOT CHECK MY FILLINGS, MY GUMS OR GIVE ME A THOROUGH CHECK UP TO THE STANDARD I EXPECTED. It seems to me that she is only interested in doing treatments that are costly and ignores the most basic.

It was an entirely painless procedure and Nikoletta explained everything in layman's terms as she was doing it and made me feel very much at ease. First class dental care. Negative experience: Absolutely awful. My short experience of them is that there are far nicer, friendlier and accommodating practices around. My poor experience with dealing with this practise was over the phone to attempt to arrange an appointment. The result has been totally unprofessional and I in no way want to deal with them. From that experience and the experience I have had throughout my entire dental history, I do not want to visit this practise. They will no doubt have time to respond to this but the issue is that in my experience they do not have time to be caring.
