Negative experience: I called King's Dental practice for emergency services as soon as possible because my tooth was broken. When I called the reception, I was outraged that it would take 8 to 10 weeks for an appointment because I am not a customer. This is outrageous; I will never trust them. I called Apollonia Dental in Greenford, and they gave me a very quick appointment for the same day. Their customer service was amazing, and they did a good job.

Fantastic experience: Dr Minesh Popat should be nationalised. Quite simply the most competent dentist I have been treated by. Faultlessly polite and conscientious. Asked me several times if I was comfortable .Removed two wisdom teeth with amazing speed and all done without any hint of pain or discomfort ! Fanks Mister ! When I came in for a routine check up, he asked why I wore a denture and really listened to my concerns and came up with a plan to remedy my dental issues. Fantastic experience: King's dental practice provides exemplary care. I have received excellent treatment from the friendly and efficient receptionists, outstanding hygienist and excellent nurses and dentist. Every step of the procedure is carefully explained and gently performed. Despite 2 new practices opening up minutes away from my home, I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: My twins who have additional needs and I are patients of Alice Hayter. What an incredible lady and dentist. Alice has looked after the three of us very professionally but with care, kindness and compassion. One of my twins dislikes any medical intervention but Alice won him over straight away. When the other twin and I have had to have injections for our treatment Alice was so gentle we didn’t even feel the injections. Positive experience: Alice Hayter Dentist is wonderful. She explains everything and is genuinely kind. I’ve never had a dentist explain everything like she did, make me feel comfortable and not nervous and I really really trust Alice Hayter. Never had an experience like that at a dentist before. Negative experience: We had booked a slot of 1.5 hours for my mother to do fillings and RCT. However, the practice cancelled it at the last minute. However, since my mother is leaving tomorrow and we had scheduled the flight tickets keeping in view of this appointment and waited for too long already, we will be unable to get the full treatment we paid for. I will now be claiming full refund of treatment as this was not our fault.

Negative experience: “I would advise against going here. Look for an alternative, as this place seems focused on profit. I was previously seen here and was informed that I needed to consult a specialist, which required me to book another appointment. After four months I reached out again, knowing I still needed to see a specialist. However, the receptionist told me the previous dentist had left, meaning I would have to start the process all over again with a new dentist. This new dentist would then determine if a specialist referral was necessary, essentially resetting my entire treatment plan. The receptionist I spoke to was not only argumentative but also had a poor attitude. Keeping staff like this will likely result in losing more patients.”

Fantastic experience: I saw Miren Patel for checkup, he was very gentle and explained what he was doing and what was wrong with my teeth and how to get them better. He’s very professional and makes you feel comfortable. I had my teeth cleaned and normally they bleed and hurt but this time nothing. His assistant Pooja was very helpful.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Kings Dental practice for over a year and found them to be polite and catering for emergencies and last minute appointments. Throughout my care I have been seen by Miren Patel for all my visits. He is a very professional dentist, listening and providing great care and advice. When I first visited him I had built up plaque and very unhealthy gums and within a year I’ve been told my gums and teeth are now health after following his advice. I was saddened to hear today that he is leaving the practice, he will be an asset at his next practice and greatly missed.

Fantastic experience: I would give 10 stars if I could! I have been a client of this dental practice for many years and I can honestly say I have only ever had excellent care. I’m just coming to the end of treatment for 2 significant procedures. I had an implant fitted starting in Nov 2023. This is a process that takes a number of months and I have not had a single issue. The implant has been a complete success. In fact, it genuinely feels like one of my own teeth. More recently, I had a reconstructive filling on one of my top two front teeth. Following a nasty fall, a piece of the tooth broke away leaving me with an unsightly gap and a lisp. Now you cannot tell where the break was and my tooth looked like it did before the fall. For both procedures, my dentist was Dr Raj Kylahsum. He is a consummate professional – caring, gentle and a great communicator. He takes time to spell out and explain all the options. He works with skill and infinite patience. A true expert in his field. While under his care, I never felt that he was under pressure, even if the appointment took longer than anticipated. Nobody likes going to the dentist but Dr Raj makes the process as pleasant as possible and therefore manages to remove some of the anxiety which is good for both patient and dentist. Despite some other comments, I have always found all the other staff in the practice to be very warm and accommodating. The dental assistants are kind and considerate. I have had to reschedule many appointments and the reception staff have always been very helpful in that regard. Communication is excellent via text and email. The dentists’ rooms have been upgraded over recent years and now include very pleasant ceiling decoration and screen savers. All very soothing, when you are lying in the dentist’s chair! I would highly recommend this dental practice.

Since taking over from Dr King five years ago, we have had many challenges that we have overcome as a team and we have all worked very hard to improve the service. We have expanded and renovated the practice whilst implementing a fully digital treatment pathway which has improved the efficiency and quality of our clinical services, including, but not limited to the introduction of Implants, Orthodontic Treatment, Smile Design and Hygienist services. Negative experience: Dentist Mr Patel is not a good dentist. He said I don’t have to pay anything, NHS will pay. He asked me whether I am getting a universal credit. I said yes and he had taken lots of signatures on the iPad after my treatment. I told him that I wanted to pay for the treatment as I’m working full time although I am receiving little benefits.But he said not to worry NHS will pay and you don’t have to pay anything. He not even clean my teeth properly and also not even done the treatment for my gums. Because he had taken so many signatures on the iPad and I signed on it believing on his words, after that within a few days I got a huge bill from NHS with a £100 penalty. No proper treatment done but I paid a huge amount. Pls don’t go to Dentist MrPatel, as he is not a professional dentist.
I am sorry that you received a penalty from the NHS with reference to your entitlement to free NHS dental treatment. All NHS declaration forms are sent to our patients in advance of each appointment, along with guidance on entitlement to free NHS dental treatment. It is the patient's responsibility to understand what type of Universal Credit they receive and what the eligibility criteria is in relation to receiving free NHS dental treatment.

Positive experience: The manager here and one of the dentists are very polite. I informed them over the phone i was going to be 15 minutes late and i was. As I was (15mins) late once I arrived i was then told I can't be seen due the appointment time already passing. They told me the dentist MIGHT not see me once I arrived (over the phone). But in all honesty I would have preferred a definitive answer when I originally phoned informing them that I'll be late. Just a little misunderstanding I guess. But the fact they pulled me aside and spoke to me with a good level of professionalism prevented me from leaving a negative review here. Place is quite small but has a warm atmosphere. I'm in the middle with this dentist and can't say if I would or wouldn't recommend them. (This review was edited then reposted due to technical issues and originally posted couple months ago)
Thank you for your review. Our team will always try to accomodate patients even when they arrive late for their booked appointment time. Sometimes we are unable to see patients if they arrive late because it is not fair to keep other patients waiting.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to share my positive experience at Kings Dental Practice with Dr Popat who completed my dental treatment. Very friendly from the get go and was constantly checking in on me throughout to make sure that I was okay. I was also given glasses that play music to help distract me while he was doing my fillings! Very 21st century (side eye). Would definitely recommend coming here! Fantastic experience: I'm an NHS patient. The surgery is a bit shabby, the kerb appeal is a bit lacking but after two visits I'm very impressed with both dentists I've seen. Bright, engaging and attentive, didn't try any hard sell of anything and incredibly helpful. Both discussed with me my treatment options and costs with no feelings of obligation The rooms are clean and bright. There is a flight of stairs so let them know if you can't manage as there are consulting rooms downstairs. Thank you for a really pleasant experience.

Negative experience: I was 10 minutes late for the appointment & not aware that I have to inform. They didn't book the same dentist I had appointment 3 months back. So they asked me come another day as I'm late & they took someone who is on emergency. But it's my time slot. I don't understand how they take someone without informing me. I was travelling all the way from Hayes & got stuck in severe traffic for more than 15 minutes near this dental practice. & had to park car further before & walk about 10 minutes. I had plenty of time when leaving home. I told this to the dentist & they were like greenford is always busy & I should aware of it. I went there few other times & it was not that still traffic as today. Then they accepted to see me after 15 minutes, but the dentist asked what she has to do. I said last time when I saw the dentist she recommended to go for temporary filling & see how it goes & she might do permanent filling. But I also had same side upper teeth sensitive & thought to get filled. The dentist there today said she can only do the filling & I have to come again for anything else. I don't want to pay twice if I can get something done at the same time. I'm not sure whether they are on tight schedule or they took people who might pay more(could be private). Today's dentist said she doesn't know what other one did & told. I was on a routine examination & I wanted to get it done everything at one go. Receptionist called Nafisa is so rude & talk bit rudely for all my questions. I'm not going to this practice ever again. I shift from another place because they came & promote in our community school.

Negative experience: Reception staff is amazing and very helpful, however dental service is way below expectations. My 8 yo daughter was seen by female dentist who took no effort to fix our problem. No wonder kids in UK have so many tooth problems if they are pushed from one place to another. This Lady should practice more her approach with kids, is so much easier to refer to someone else than give another try.

Fantastic experience: The service is fantastic. I had a wisdom tooth removal appointment, and i was apprehensive about how everything would go. The nurse Nafisa and the dentist Dr Dami Showunmi are extremely friendly, calming, empathetic and professional. They talked me through the procedure, and i felt at ease. Fantastic experience: Just a quick review on my experience with this dental practice. Simply amazing from Reception staff to Nurse (Nafisa) to the Dentist (Dr Miren). The care and wellbeing shown was outstanding. The smiles and warmth from the staff made me feel at ease and completely removed any apprehension. The dentist was extremely knowledgeable and explained all aspects to me clearly and in terms that I actually understood. He gave me a bespoke plan for improvement and reassured me at all times. The nurse was friendly and sincere during the appointment. Timings were excellent and at no point did I feel that the appointment was being rushed, there was a true and genuine feel that the focus was about me and my teeth. Fantastic experience: I could go on and on for a very long time about just how thankful I am. Both my daughter (1.5 years old) and I have been seen today at King's Dental Practice by Niralee Patel. Throughout our visit we were given kind words, loads of positivity and great support. They will be able to answer any of your questions with patience and kindness. They really DO care! Don't think twice to see the dentist. Here, they will make you feel very comfortable and they will make sure that you are cared for properly. Negative experience: Absolutely third class service It's as though they are a part time service Getting an appointment is a mission. The receptionist are on the main very rude.... I genuinely think that if they weren't NHS funded they would not survive a day in greenford.... Just look at Specsavers who have to get their money by selling things and they bend over backwards for business these guys would be no different if they weren't getting tax payers money

Fantastic experience: I first visited this practice in January 2023 and was seen by Dr Raj. I was pleasantly surprised of the care and attention received to my dental problems. Dr Raj who treated me clearly explained all the issues that requires attention which included a prompt referral to hospital. As part of the referral, he took x-ray and photograph which convinced the hospital to offer me an appointment. As part of the ongoing treatment, I have been to the practice again today and I was seen by Dr Raj again and the Care and attention that I have received again was excellent. He also provided me with an update of the improvements and encouraged me continue with the oral hygiene plan that he had suggested at my first visit. In addition Dr Raj is very passionate about providing good oral hygiene to wider community, and I will invited him to our community school again to talk to our children and parents to promote the importance of oral hygiene, as I don't wish others to have similar problems that I currently have which could have been prevented, had I received the correct advice and treatments much earlier.
