Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend The Limes Dental Practice! As a previously very nervous patient who hadn't seen a dentist for some years, I was immediately made to feel welcome and reassured when I came into the Practice. Everyone on the team is very friendly, very kind and reassuring, and are perfect for new or nervous people. I have had quite a few appointments now, and I have absolutely no fear any more, and all the dental work I have had done has been calm, pain-free, and of the highest quality. I can't thank the team enough, especially my treatment team consisting of Dr David, Dental Nurse Toni, Hygienist Gail, and the amazing Practice Manager Pip, who always checks in on you after treatment with a phone call to make sure you are getting along well. I feel completely looked after at The Limes, and I genuinely look forward to my visits! Please check them out, especially if you are a nervous patient, as they are seriously the best dental team ever!

Fantastic experience: I am very nervous of the dentist so dint go unless I have to. I found limes dental practice had a check up last week the dentist made me feel really comfortable and relax as we chatted. Today I had my first treatment which I was very nervous this morning about going but I brave it the dentist was excellent did not feel a thing talked me through it I was so happy gave me confidence to goung with my treatment very highly recommended if you are nervous or dentist best one I ever been to he is excellent nothing to be scared or nervous off.

Fantastic experience: I have been with Limes Dental practice for over 2 years.Andrew is an excellent Dentist, he is very calming & friendly (I am a nervous patient !) he explains every step of the way, it terms I can understand. Lisa is also a really good hygienist,she is very patient & like Andrew explains everything & is very friendly…which helps make the process much nicer. Fantastic experience: Had my first visit today, after seeing the very welcoming online videos. I have had a mortal fear of dentist since I was a teenager, now 60! My Apple Watch was beeping before my appointment as my heart rate was over 130bpm!! However, everyone, made me feel comfortable and there was no judgement to make me feel embarrassed about the state of my teeth! My full treatment is starting later this week. Cannot thank everyone enough for helping me overcome my irrational fear!

Fantastic experience: I visited Limes, more specifically Dr Andrew after I felt sensitivity in one of my back teeth. After registering, an inspection he quickly diagnosed, with some very state of the art and impressive kit, that I had a fracture in my molar. He advised that rather than extraction that he could make a crown with his on site equipment which would solve the problem. So a few weeks later that is exactly what he did with some more state of the art kit which made the visit very easy and comfortable from my side and a brilliant result! All this was done in one day too!! The practice is very friendly, Dr Andrew is incredibly knowledgeable and efficient in his profession. You can clearly see lot of investment has been made in the practice, its staff and Dr Andrew himself to deliver the best care. You an see he is passionate about what he does and how he delivers that care, explaining what hes doing and why rather than other dentists ive been too that give you the feeling you are a money machine for them. Im definitely returning here. Good work team and keep up the fantastic work!!!

Fantastic experience: I carried out alot of research on a Dental Practice to join due to having returned to living in Gloucester and chose here after all the fantastic reviews. I can vouch that this place is worth the reviews. My first appointment with Dr Andrew Connolly carried out checks I've never had before, thoroughly explained everything,his findings,your X ray putting you at ease with his caring and professional nature. Everyone else within the practice is friendly and welcoming and the place is spacious,clean and fresh looking. I am glad I made the decision to come here.

Fantastic experience: Today, the 22/05/25, I visited The Limes Dental Practice, I was incredibly nervous, having actually hated dentists for many, many years, due to past traumatic experiences !! These, I shared with the dentist, when asked what started the fear !! The smell of the rubber masks at the school dentist, bad experiences at other dentists etc etc !! Today, within an hour, my nerves, anxiety & dislike of dentists, in general, faded into oblivion !! I came out of The Limes Dental Practice a changed, person, totally free from my original hangups & fear !! Everything was explained to me, in detail, plus I felt that I could ask questions, freely !! Fantastic experience: First time going to dentist since covid, I was petrified due to bad experience at a different dentist, but the receptionists were lovely and understanding and the dentist david was amazing didn't touch my mouth much due to pain I was in he didn't want to cause more pain but new the cause of pain and after antibiotics my mouth no longer hurts. I walked in shaking with fear and left smiling and at ease and even booked the followed up appointment which normally I wouldn't do. This dentist was recommended to me by my sister and I 100% recommend them after only 1 visit.

Fantastic experience: My care at the limes over the past 2 years has been fantastic. I’m not a lover of the dentist but the time and explanation given has helped me with this. Lisa as hygienist has improved my mouth health to the point my gums are healthy and hopefully teeth preserved for a long time. As a dentist David’s knowledge and expertise is exemplary. Fantastic experience: My 12 year old was petrified of having a filing after her last NHS dentist visit. This was the reason we moved to the Limes dental practice. Andrew answered all of my daughter’s questions and made her feel at ease before the procedure, he is extremely skilled with the injections she said that she didn’t see him do it or feel a thing! And now isn’t frightened to have further work carried out. Thank you for putting her at ease, great job!

Fantastic experience: Had a mystery hairline fracture in a molar two years ago, which broke away a year later. It’s been through a couple of quick cap-offs, before being rebuilt using white filling. When the filling recently fell out, I was starting to wonder to do about the tooth and whether it could ever be fixed! Dr David Stephens has been excellent at explaining issues, reassuring my every concern and describing all possible solutions in detail, so that I could make an informed choice. The practice puts things right and makes sure that if a second fix is needed because something didn’t hold, extra factors such as bite position are taken into account to create a lasting fix (say by filing it down further than the adjacent tooth material in order to protect it). David seems to enjoy a challenge and he never blames my tooth chasm being in the wrong position or my bruxism for wreaking havoc with his work! Hygienist Lisa Gibbs’ skills and advice have helped me get into better more enjoyable habits with my oral care. My teeth and gums are really good now.

Fantastic experience: Lovely dentist practice, very spacious and welcoming. Reception has always been well staffed and polite. David Stephens is an excellent dentist, having provided a thorough and reassuring update and taking his time. My husband also sees him and is quite anxious about going to the dentist and has no complaints. My hygienist is Lisa Gibbs. She provided a thorough introduction, updated incorrect details in my file and then took a lot of time throughout to explain why she was doing something or what I should be doing at home. Overall, a great experience.

Negative experience: I had food getting stuck between two teeth and i had already had fillings for two back teeth from another dentist. He said the way the fillings had been done could lead to infection. Over £1000 later I had a crown to stop the food getting stuck and two onlays. After the treatment I still had food getting stuck and first of all one onlay came adrift. Tonight, the second onlay came away. Money down the drain. This Irishman has the gift of the gab. He certainly hasn’t got the gift of the gob.

Fantastic experience: What a pleasant experience to say the least, I have had an on going issue with my tooth, where other dentists have not been able to successfully treat or even find the issue i had with my tooth. As soon as i sat down i felt comfortable, bearing in mind i am someone who is petrified of the dentist because of my past experiences! When i say i never felt a single thing from start to finish of having the injections to having my tooth removed, i literally never felt a thing. Andrew is very thorough at checking each and every single tooth and that is probably why he had found the issue within minutes of being sat in the chair. I would recommend this dental surgery and Andrew to everyone, I am over the moon that i have found a dentist i don’t have to be worried about when going to appointments! Also would like to say that the assistant Toni-Marie, was very professional and helped calm my nerves at every point through the appointment. She made sure i was relaxed and that i understood what was going on each step of the way!

Fantastic experience: Have been with the practice for over a year now, the staff are amazingly friendly. From the minute you walk through the door the lovely ladies at reception make you feel at ease. Over the last few years I've not been focusing on my teeth and gums but with the help of the hygienist Lisa we have worked together and my teeth and gums are back on track.. David my dentist and his colleague have been amazing, you feel so at ease the minute you walk through his door. Fantastic experience: As a as a traveling American, your worst nightmare is having dental issues abroad. Sure enough, it happened to me but a family member referred me to Dr Dr.Stephens at Limes Dental. They were able to get me in first thing in the morning and resolve my issue. Fantastic experience: I recently visited Dr Connolly at Limes dental practice for a full dental checkup, X-rays, and an orthodontic assessment, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff, which set a positive tone for the appointment. The thoroughness of the checkup was impressive; the X-rays were done quickly and efficiently, and Dr Connolly explained each step of the process clearly, making sure I was comfortable and understood everything. He provided insightful and understandable explanations about my dental health and treatment options. It was clear that he is exceptionally knowledgeable and dedicated to providing the best care possible. The dental experience I’ve ever had. I can’t recommend the Limes highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Travelled a fair way on recommendation for root canal treatment as the full procedure can be completed in the same day as they have their own milling machine on site. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. The first time ever I've had no pain with the anaesthetic injections for a start! Super efficient and friendly team.

At my first appointment, I was put at ease by David and he explained everything in a friendly and informative way. Fantastic experience: I just had my dental hygienist appointment and was very pleased with my experience. I have a medical condition which means that my brushing can be hit-and-miss at times. I explained this to the professional who was non-judgemental but instead helpful about my circumstances. They did an excellent job and gave me some techniques on how to look after my dental hygiene when I am having ups and downs in future. Thank you very much, I look forward to coming again.

The dental practice has a positive, calm and welcoming atmosphere. Pip at Reception makes you feel so welcome on arrival and extremely valued during your treatment follow-up call the next day. David and his team are absolutely brilliant! He has been so intuitive to my anxiety levels since my first appointment ten months ago. My treatment plan and options are always explained clearly to me. Fantastic experience: I booked the limes dental practice through word of mouth from a friend who recommended the practice. I had an issue with an existing root canal that has troubled me for some time. After booking in with the very friendly receptionist and having the consultation with Andrew Conolly in which he explained everything he would be doing, an initial treatment to the route canal was carried out. I sat for 1hr 15 mins. Now, when I initially had the first root canal done (not at limes dental practice), it was a painful process. Take 2. This route canal that Andrew has done for me was pain-free. I can not recommend enough my canal, which has not been fully complete yet as I have a bit more work and the crown replacement to do to complete the work but already my tooth feels unbelievable i wish i had done this earlier.I certainly won't be apprehensive or nervous. Thank you, Andrew and the team for the care and quality of service you have provided me with so far. ( 5 star treatment Highly recommend )

I’ve been having problems with a wisdom tooth for months, but was very anxious about having it looked at / removed after hearing so many horror stories. From the first appointment, to the extraction of the wisdom tooth I was kept at ease, with everything that was happening being explained to me.

Negative experience: He is a good dentist that knows his stuff, but as time has passed since I ran out of the Practice, never to go near again, I wouldn't trust him. He was a bully, even actually said 'I'm not trying to bully you'. Had me in tears. He'd make a good salesman.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing experience. I have really bad dentist anxiety and cry my eyes out every time I need work done. Andrew made sure I got through my tooth extraction, didn’t even feel the injection going in let alone the tooth coming out and I’m so happy I’ve finally found a dentist I trust. Fantastic experience: Amazing dental practice. An Incredibly kind and welcoming team from the moment you walk through the door. I was seen by the Dentist David and the Hygienist Lisa and both were very impressive. The practice takes a preventative approach to dentistry and spend a lot of time explaining everything they are doing during your appointment. Their main concern is helping you care for your teeth in the best way, and left both appointments feeling like a new more about my teeth than before.

Fantastic experience: I had a wisdom tooth extraction yesterday at Limes and everything went way better than I expected. My tooth was only partially erupted, infected and had grown at a weird angle so was definitley more than a routine exraction. I was dreading it going in but I felt no pain and more surprisingly I didn't even feel it come out, before I knew it everything was done and I was gearing up to go home. I've not had great experiences with dentists in the past, for one reason or another but I'm happy I've found Limes now and my new permanent dentist. Thanks to everyone at Limes, especially Dr. Connolly and the dental nurse yesterday (sorry I didn't catch the name) for putting me at ease despite no doubt looking white as a sheet!

Fantastic experience: I would like to share my experience late June 2022 at The Limes Dental Practice.Manyy years ago I had treatment at this very building then owned by another Dentist,I had my back teeth removed lower case both sides at the time I was put to sleep I was in my teens .....This left me with a fear that I could not explain I was terrified of the dentist .....I needed to face my fear so I decided to go back to the very building where it all happened....As you can imagine I was worried no..... terrified.....All I can say is I needn't have been from the moment I called to make the appointment the lady on reception Pip was amazing I explained my fear and she reassured me and put me at ease I asked if I could bring a friend for support that was not a problem Dr Andrew was my dentist what a difference this man made he quickly made me feel relaxed and calm ...his energy is amazing he has the ability to totally make you feel at ease my experience was life changing and I got through my session feeling incredibly relaxed ....Just wanted to say thank you all at the practice and also to tell anyone looking for a dentist that cares this is the one with very professional and caring staff.....Regards Caroline.

Excellent treatment including the insertion of two crowns using up to date image technology - all made and put in place on the same day! Great care and attention to detail ensures the crowns fit perfectly. Really happy with the results.

Fantastic experience: To say I was terrified of the dentist was an understatement. I hadn’t been for years after a bad experience, so I was worried my teeth were in an absolute state. But after having excruciating wisdom tooth pain for a whole year, I opted to visit The Limes. Straight away, I felt as if I had nothing to worry about and after having an extraction I was dreading, I came out feeling as if I’d conquered Everest. It’s simply because I was made to feel in total control, not as if I was being stupid for worrying. I’ve just visited this morning for my 3rd appointment, in which my heart didn’t jump out of my chest with worry. I’m totally comfortable at the dentist now, and I don’t think I’ll ever worry about treatment again. I’m unbelievably grateful to all staff, especially David, for helping me. If you’re looking for a friendly service, and especially if you’re nervous, I’d highly recommend these lovely people. 5 stars from me!!!

Fantastic experience: In short, can’t recommend this practice enough My son used the practice which is why I decided to use them. My mother-in-law was taken ill and lost her denture, my son arrange for her to have a new one made, sadly she died before she had the denture fitted. My son went to the practice to collect the denture and pay the bill to be told by PIP that there was no charge. Not only that a few days later, addressed to my son and the family, we received a condolence card, what compassion. The above example and the way my son has been treated, was the deciding factor, in my decision to use the practice, no regrets. I was seen by Andrew and have received nothing but first-class treatment, nothing was too much trouble. My condition left me with several treatment options, these were all fully explained to me with no pressure to have any particular treatment, giving me options and feeling confident that I had made the right decision. Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend the Limes Dental Practice enough ! This morning I had to have my wisdom tooth out and was extremely anxious beforehand . From the moment I entered the practice I was made to feel at ease by Pip. When I was called into the room David (dentist ) and Sue (dental nurse) helped me by listening to my worries and reassuring me . When removing the tooth , David was extremely professional and calm talking through things and also praising me for doing so well . I couldn’t feel a thing and I finally feel that I’ve found a dentist surgery where everyone is passionate about what they are doing, no question is a stupid question and you ,as the patient , are valued . Fantastic experience: After having problems at my previous dentist I was so nervous about going back to the dentist, but I love it at Limes it’s the “spa” of dentists. I always feel welcome, relaxed and made to feel at ease. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. They really listen to your concerns and talk you through everything, constantly making sure you are happy. Everything is really clear, they are thorough and you really feel taken care of. They don’t just book you in for things unnecessarily, if they don’t feel you need a hygienist appointment they will tell you so. They have a great dental plan in place too. I’ve always been able to get an appointment very quickly when I’ve needed it. Pip is fantastic and is really the voice and face of Limes and David my dentist is so friendly and instantly puts you at ease. I’m very relieved to not be so nervous going to the dentist anymore. Fantastic experience: I first went to Limes a few months ago after cracking a tooth and experiencing some sensitivity, I was immediately made to feel so comfortable by Pip at reception who now engages in normal conversation with me and knows my name when I walk though the door. Andrew is my dentist and he’s always spoken to me in a way that I understand a - I’m terrified of the dentist so when it come down to doing procedures he always asked how I was and told me what he was doing how reassured me that I was doing well. I couldn’t recommend a better dentist!

Fantastic experience: Went to Limes Dental Practice today for a root canal. I'm a nervous patient when it comes to going to the dentist! I needn't of worried they did a fantastic job. They talked to me before and during the procedure which put me at ease, no pain and an hour and a half later my root canal was sorted. Thank you David and Jaz .

Fantastic experience: Dr. Connelly & his team have performed a near miracle by making this totally dentist phobic scaredy cat into a relaxed & happy patient. The whole team are friendly and welcoming, and the extensive work I have had done is superb. I cannot recommend the practise highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I arrived at Limes dental practice for the first time with a tooth pain. I was worried and struggling to get an appointment in Gloucester, Limes start marking the difference soon they answer the phone, after I explain my situation I was calmed by the person on the phone and booked an appointment for the next hour, this was about 10 months ago. Since then I decided to start the treatment that I was delaying to start on my holidays to Portugal with me being a national of that country. Relaxed, professional and meticulous was the image left of Dr. Andrew to me. I had a long journey since then and I’m gonna keep being a client. The atmosphere and the humanism on every member of staff really calmed me down and make me feel safe in every appointment. Hope they keep the good work, growing and putting the patient first. I REALLY RECOMMENDED The Limes Dental Practice.

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank the team at Limes Dental Practise for helping me with painful tooth which broke in lock down. Andrew saw me as an emergency. I must admit I am an extremely anxious patient. Andrew talked me through the procedure and was helpful in keeping me calm and informed throughout. Fantastic experience: I actually use another practise but my wife and daughter go here. My experiences taking my daughter have been awesome. David made my daughter feel very comfortable and explained everything that was going to happen. From somone who had so many bad experiences at a young age it was great that my daughter had a positive experience from a super friendly dentist. Cant recommended enough 10\10
