Fantastic experience: Very friendly and professional staff good feedback on how to improve dental hygiene

Negative experience: I'm disappointed to have to have leave this as I used to be very happy with the care this practice provides for my children and wife. However, recently things have deteriorated. My wife hasn't been happy with this place for a while since the dentist changed, she feels the care isn't as good as it previously was, but I have tried to persist for our childrens appointments, however, we're now moving to another practice. I want to preface this by saying that I have never been seen on time here, not once. You turn up early or on time and you will be waiting at least 20 minutes. Anyway, recently we turned up for an appointment that was cancelled, with NO warning. No message, no email, no call. Dentist decided to go on leave and we were not informed. Staff on that day apologised and booked another appointment, I was of course annoyed due to wasting of time but didn't complain. I rebook another appointment, it's close to school pick up time which makes things difficult but it's all they can give me so I take it. Fast forward to the appointment, I turn up late for which I apologised. The receptionist I'm talking with seems to take pleasure in telling me that because I'm late I won't be seen. Not can't be seen, not "I'm sorry but", just a smirk and condescending attitude. When they cancel my appointment without any notice, my attitude is cheerful, and rebook no problem. Every appointment I've ever been to at this dentist I'm waiting for at least 20-30 minutes after turning up on time. But as soon as I'm late once you enjoy sending me away? Zero empathy, and a terrible attitude towards customers. The attitude from this person and let's the place down. In summary, care no longer at the same standard, and 1 receptionist in particular has zero people skills and doesn't belong in that role. And to the business, don't bother responding with your "we value your feedback" stuff, sorry, too late.

Fantastic experience: Ravi is an excellent Dentist. Hes friendly, kind & makes you feel totally at ease for an appointment I would normally dread. His Assistant Alex is also the same, they make a great team.

Positive experience: I had two crowns replaced, whilst this involved a lot of work I was fully informed of the procedure and felt comfortable and confident the whole time. My only reservation in not giving 5 stars is the long wait before each appointment, otherwise I am more than happy with the service provided.

Fantastic experience: I just had a cracked filling fixed by Iuliana sofian pauliuc and her team and it was such a good experience. I was really nervous, and they were so empathetic and understanding, talked me through each step and checked in to make sure I was comfortable. Also had no idea she was doing the injection to numb me, very skilled! My new filling looks amazing!

Fantastic experience: Both my wife and I have recently had dental treatment at Ice Surgeries, my wife had an extraction and a couple of days later had a couple of fillings Serena Hoyte-Allen completed all work to an excellent standard with empathy. For me I can only reiterate the same having had a rebuilt front tooth after loosing a crown. Thank you Serena for such great treatment.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist I've every seen. She is absolute class. This is the Real Madrid of dental practices if u want to look good come here. I went from having teeth of an Ogre to having movie star teeth. True value for money best dentist I've ever seen brilliant kind caring and superb I've never been more impressed by someone absolutely blown away by how good they are here every member of staff is kind caring and helpful. If I could give 10 stars I would! I've seen dentists in Beverly Hills and Los Angeles and none of them have a patch on her she's the best hands down and by a long way she is an artist with teeth. By comparisons makes Van Gough and Rembrant look like they were just finger painters by comparison. Go here if u want the best looking teeth u can possibly have.

Fantastic experience: Posted on behalf of Penny Crighton: I visited Ice Surgeries (Mon 30th Sept) for a Hygienist appointment with Sharmin Farzana and her dental nurse and they were so friendly and instantly made me feel at ease. Sharmin was attentive and caring to my individual needs and gave me such reassurance and great advice. The whole team at Ice Surgeries are so welcoming and even on very hectic/busy days, they are always smiling, helpful and super professional.

Negative experience: Ice Surgeries has changed over the last few years. The patient care really has gone a miss. All they seem to be bothered about is upselling private treatments and hounding patients to see if they want an appointment! We have now moved dentists!

I've been with them for a number of years and always been happy with the service but over the past two years I've been seen by Dr Serena Hoyte-Allen who has gone above and beyond. In the past two years she's fixed problems that have been going on for over a decade and it's the first year I've only needed a check up and nothing else. Thank you Serena!

Fantastic experience: I was what I would consider to be an extremely difficult patient, having 3 panic attacks and being seen by two dental surgeons. I was panicking having just been given the option of tooth removal or root canal, tooth removal being expensive but so much less than root canal. I was in so much pain so had to make the decision on the spot, then I was literally terrified. I can't say that it was enjoyable but I must commend the practice manager who gotme in as a 'walk in' then sat with me through the first attempt then when the dental surgeon understandably stopped her procedure because in her words "I'm not comfortable", reassured me time and time over. Although telling me that they could not now fix this because I couldn't do it, she found a surgeon who would take it on. I wish I had her name because I would say it here. She had so much patience. The practice manager sat in again. The surgeon talked me through literally every single step. Anyone who has a phobia of dental treatment will relate. I can not praise Radcliffe on Trent Ice Surgeries enough. You are amazing, thank you.

Well, went to see Serena today for extraction and I can't believe how quickly she took the tooth out and how de-stressed I felt afterwards. Really can't reccommend Serena enough for her professionalism and her way of putting me at total ease about all treatments I have had and am going to have. I don't know of a more nervous person than myself about going to the dentist for anything, let alone an extraction but, it was the best extraction experience I have ever had. Serena, the dental nurses, the reception staff and Kerie have all been wonderful and always have time for patients, no matter what the questions are. Definitely reccommend Ice Surgeries for anyone needing any dental work. Well done All! Sorry for the late review. Been a hectic few months. Well, what can I say. I used to love seeing Mr Dhillon and when he had to change surgeries I was a bit concerned as I have had many dentists over the years in different parts of the country who were horrendous and he made me relaxed and confident about going to the dentist. So, I was very nervous about seeing Serena. Well, I am delighted to say the she was brilliant. Professional, informative and totally put me at ease. I have no qualms about going back now and would highly reccommend Ice Surgeries for all dental work. Reception staff and dental assistants are great too. Keep up the good work.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming with a superb relaxed atmosphere, activities and entertainment all laid on. Our children said they found it a pleasant experience. Well done the whole team. Negative experience: I used to have a high opinion of Ice Surgeries but became uneasy in the latter part of 2022, as I felt that care was reactive not proactive and resulted Iin quite a lot of work being needed. When they left Denplan for Patient Plan, I left too, as it was a far inferior scheme. I joined another dental practice offering Denplan and discovered that I could only join the basic scheme for now. This is because urgent and expensive treatment was needed After contacting Ice Surgeries, including enclosing details of the work required I eventually received a letter asking for proof that I needed the work done effectively casting doubt on the integrity of my new dentist. I naturally refused to comply. Thus, overall, I can rate them as only one star and express my disappointment that they refused to accept any responsibility.

Everyone is so friendly there and efficient, I was on time didn’t have to wait more than a minute or so .The dentist Rav is lovely Professional but friendly couldn’t wish for a better dentist. Positive experience: Friendly staff and good quality work. I’m a new customer and had my first dental check up yesterday. During this dental check up they had taken scans. Disappointed that I get a call a day later saying you owe us money for scans. The scans were taken but without me agreeing to this extra service. Wasn’t even told about the price until a day later. As far as I was concerned it was part of the first dental check up. If you are going to charge me for work being done please let me know in the future and a least give me a price.

Fantastic experience: Came to this practice 8 years ago after moving house. My family and I have received fantastic dental care. I have just completed a course of Invisalign treatment and could not be happier with the treatment and results I achieved.

Negative experience: Diabolical. Don't waste your time booking an appointment here. This used to be a superb practice; our dentist was excellent and my family have been patients at the practice many years. Sadly our dentist left and the practice has deteriorated beyond belief. I recognise the impact of COVID on the NHS however and I'm sure this contributed to repeat cancellations of my family's appointments, however it is the attitude of the staff that makes this worse. Firstly, after nearly a year of waiting for an appointment, this gets cancelled by a mere text message - no reason, no attempt to call, apologise or rearrange. Voicemails are not answered and when I did finally get a call back over 2 weeks later I'm told the appt. was cancelled as the dentist was going on a course! Next available appt was another 3 months. Arrived at the surgery with my 2 children to be told the dentist and receptionist had gone home sick; not a single call or text message to tell me this so I had taken the kids out of school for absolutely nothing. There was no apology and a poor attitude with no care over the inconvenience caused without any notice and we are supposed to find this acceptable because the NHS is in a mess at the moment! I have been promised a re-arranged appointment but after enquiring further why they couldn't do that there and then I'm told that they don't really know when it will be - their dentists are leaving/have left and they're not taking booking for another 7 months - so actually, the liklihood of another appointment is next to zero. Save yourself the time and energy and just find another dental surgery that actually cares.

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would! Wasted an afternoon and the cost of our after school care for a family checkup only to be told all our appointments are cancelled as we arrive (to make it worse it's the second lot of cancelled appointments in 3 months)! No apology whatsoever, we were just told with a rather smug attitude that everybody involved is sick or has sick children so that's it .... clearly that means it's ok to waste peoples time and money. I understand these things happen but to be then told "my kids are in the same boat" really doesn't cut it I'm afraid. No calls or texts to cancel, despite an insistence that they had called numerous times ... Just avoid as this will only get worse. They told us that they only have two dentists left as the rest have left or are leaving.
